I think back to that magical night on Nitro in the Spring of '96 when in a tag team match with the Bootie Man, Hogan took a spike piledriver on the floor from Flair and Anderson, thus causing him to be stretchered out of the building and off of TV for over two months. Unfortunately, Bash at the Beach occurred, thus ending hope that the Horsemen had killed Hulkamania.
Cubs, White Sox and Red Sox fans unite. Its time to overthrow the German Government and re-install our beloved Kaiser. Remember, Kaiser ='s World Series victories.
Easily, WrestleMania X8. If I hadn't been in the building for that one I'd definitely say the NWO heel turn in '96 was my biggest Hogan mark-out moment, but the energy in the Dome for that half hour or so was unbeatable.
I really liked the time when Randy Savage was getting his ass handed to him on Saturday Night's Main Event and Miss Elizabeth ran to the dressing room and returns dragging by the hand a confused looking Hogan. He stops at the curtain, looks at what's happening in the ring, his eyes grow huge, and he runs to the ring to clean house.
Honorable mention has to be on NBC's prime time main event, when Hogan discovers the the twin Hebner refs and has each one by the collar, turning to one, than the other, than one again. Great stunt.
My favorite Hulk Hogan moment has to be Wrestlemania III when he slammed Andre then hit the legdrop for the pin. I think I still have partial deafness from the Silverdome crowd's volume.
No Way Out 2002 in Milwaukee...Hogan, Hall and Nash strut into the Bradley Center to the beautiful strains of "Theme from nWo." I marked out {Mike Myers as Dieter from Sprockets} like a little girl {/Myers}.
Runner-up...one of the old-school stand-alone promos he cut leading up to SummerSlam 1990. Hogan starts off all quiet, talking about "guys like The Earthquake"...and finally gets all intense: "Hell no, I'm not retiring!" before the standard "Whatcha gonna do" schpiel. Awesome it was.
Star wipe, and...we're out. Thrillin' ain't easy.

I have been following wrestling since the early 80's, but when Hogan and Rock had those staredowns, and as they gazed out into the crowd as if even they were amazed at the response that they were getting, it just made the hair on my arms stand straight up.
I have never seen a roomfull of people screaming and hanging on the edge of their seat like I did during that match.
"This just got a hell of a lot better." - Stifler, American Pie
Hogan beating Slaughter at WM7 for the belt. I just got into wrestling and thought Slaughter was really a traitor. I was hoping Hogan beat the shit out of him for the belt and it happen.
Hogan turns heel and forms New World Order. That was great booking. It surprised watching Hogan going to bad guy and rip on the fans. It was one of those moments I never thought it would ever happen.
Hogan returns the night after Bash at the Beach 99' to Nitro in Jacksonville to beat Macho Man for the belt. Being there live for that was the single best wrestling experience I've ever had.
Dropping the leg on the iron sheik and winning his first wwf title. WM3 slamming and pinning the unslammable and unpinnable giant. Beating the sarge at WM7. The classy way he passed the torch to warrior (albeit temporarily) at WM6. The greatest heel turn ever when he joined the NWO.
Favourite anti-hogan moments both come from his match against sid at WM8. First was watching the worst ever selling effort after sid's powerbomb and his "convulsions" - it still makes me laugh hysterically today. Second was later in that match seeing sid kick out of the hogan legdrop as papa shango messed up the run in. First time ever anyone kicked out of the legdrop and shocked the pants off me.
