Does anyone else think that a Shawn Michaels turn in the hair vs. hair match between Nash/Jericho would be a good idea. I mean I loved HBK as a heel in both his runs he was so much more entertaining and I think it would help along with the elimination chamber match as nash and hbk won't be buddies. But then again there would be only two faces in the match.
I don't think such a turn would make a whole lot of sense. If there's anything to be salvaged from Nash it's going to be by keeping him paired with Michaels in the role of talented guy's big musclebound buddy. Besides, going from HHH/world title feud to Jericho/hair feud is a clear sign that Nash is being moved down the ladder...I don't think a high profile feud with Michaels is in the cards for him.
HBK's been running about with those religious t-shirts for a while now. I don't think: 1) the WWE would push a wrestler who denounces his religious principles; and 2) HBK would go for it.
I'm also unsure how well a Christian heel would go over with the crowd.
Besides, of course, the heel who's actually named Christian.

Why would he have to be a "christian heel"? I'm sure if he were turned heel, he wouldn't come out in a "Jesus is Lord" t-shirt talking about how wonderful God is, and then prodede to heel his opponent. I'm just saying that if Shawn were to go heel, he'd stop wearing the shirts and just be a regular heel guy "playing the part of a bad guy". There are plenty of heels on the roster who are christian, Chris Jericho being one of them.
Michaels has already done the heel while born again Christian thing. When he came back last year and joined the nWo he was a heel, and did the whole "I'm not going to perform for the fans because they don't deserve it thing." He also gave the sweet chin music to Booker T turning Booker officially face. Michaels wasn't a face till the nWo disolved and the Hunter fued began.
And yes, he is better as a heel. I loved him in late '97-early '98, but seeing as how his career is on its last legs I doubt we will see him as a heel again. This is his way of going out.

Yeah, I'm saying it's much more likely for the WWE to ask him to eliminate all the religious shirts entirely in order for him to get over as a pure heel, if such a thing exists anymore.
However, given how much time HBK has prolcaimed his beliefs with his apparel and time on the mic, a sudden sea change might be hard to swallow. The again we were asked to believe Rikishi ran over Austin to help his people.
I'd rather see HBK ditch the clothes and be an out-and-out heel than play another 'tweener. If he kept the t-shirts, he might come off as an in-shape Brother Love.
I'm certainly not saying a performer can't actually be devout and play the heel.

Maybe in the future but right now isn't the right time. I mean he already has feuds set up with Orton and Jericho and should probably have a one on one ppv with each sometime after the EC match. He has to stay face for those two matches, then after that he could turn.

1) As long as the McMahon's can see dollar signs out of controversy, denouncing religious principles is something they won't frown upon.
2) As long as Shawn's getting a paycheck, he'd go for it.

Well, they could always rehash the whole 'pious, holier than thou' gimmick I guess. Ned Flanders without the "hi-de-ho neighbour-reeno" and with muscles perhaps?
"As I drove into " *insert city name* ", what struck me about this town is the fact the WHOLE CITY IS POSSESSED BY THE DEVIL! And hearing you boo me when I came down that ramp, it all became clear - this city is the new Sodom! Everyone in this arena right now will ROT IN HELL FOR ALL ETERNITY unless you all REPENT and start CHEERING FOR ME! I SAID CHEER ME DAMNIT!!! Even the so-called "Christians" in this crowd will rot in hell unless you REPENT and join the CHURCH OF THE HEATBREAK KID! You will all ROT IN HELL unless you stop worshipping false idols like " *insert face name* "and start worshipping MORAL, CHRISTIAN IDOLS... Like Me!"
Hmm, I guess it could work...
Holier Than Thou by Metallica as an entrance theme too perhaps?
Nash was always at his best when he had Scott Hall teamed up with him as his partner in crime. They need to make Michaels his new best buddy to help him get back to the way he was with the fans.

I'm all for a heel HBK but unless he is that heel that would talk trash, take a beating, and still beat you it's not worth it. Due to his back I really can't see him taking those beating he used to either. Plus he seems to be plugged in for a nice feud with Orton at some point down the line. Maybe they can double switch off of that but for now there is really no point in turning him heel. Honestly if they did though watch him be part of Evolution and that would just not work for me.
What's with this religious stuff? He's just plain 'ol HBK. He doesn't come out every week and does hail mary's. It's not a massive religious gimmick or even a mild one. He jsut makes a religous statment like afew time this year that's it. In my opinion he doesn't have a religous gimmick so it shouldn't come into play for a heel turn.
He can turn pink for all I care. Shawn Michaels is an insufferable prick -- always was, always will be -- and the sooner his back gives out and he goes home, the better.
