From 411mania.com, who swiped it the WON.

Gewirtz supposedly setting something up longterm…

In surprising news, it appears as if the Raw creative team had a long term plan for Lance Storm's "boring" gimmick.

After several weeks of failing to shed the "boring" label, Storm would apparently seek out a charismatic tag team partner, then there would be wacky skits with the new partner trying to teach Storm how to have a personality.

No word on whether this is still the intended direction for Storm on Raw.

While Hurricane would be the best choice, they've already teamed back in Hurricane's dark past.

My God, they're not gonna put him with Rico are they?

So they were going to rehash Al Snow & Steve Blackman.

With Storm's lack of involvement lately, it seems like plans have changed.

I'd say that the wacky partner is going to be Al Snow. Actually, no. In a shocking swerve, Lance Storm's wacky tag team partner will be Steve Blackman. Their tag team name can be called Cheese Cheese.

Al Snow and Lance would be hilarious..but I'm hoping that we see Chris Jericho, the highlight of the night helping his good canadian friend.

It gives Storm something to do. Unfortunately, sounds like more of the same.

What about Booker T? I'd like to see him try to loosen up Storm. He can teach Lance the Stormaroonie!

I think an Un-Americans reunion would be good news all around - no, not under the UA banner, but I always thought Storm & Christian made a good team, and Test would be a good fit as the muscle of the group. I really thought they were onto something when the three of them were backing up Jericho during his title reign last year, yet sadly it went nowhere. It could work now, and give all three guys who are seemingly directionless something to do.

A Blackman/Storm tag team was the FIRST THING I thought of after I read that piece of news.

I agree with a UA reunion. Can't have Booker or Jericho involved in THIS angle when they should be busy winning the RAW title.

Well, I would've picked Hurricane but he's busy with Rosey. The Storm-Hurricane team was a favorite of mine during the Invasion.

My pick: Steven Richards.

The fact that the brief article contained the term "wacky skits" makes me want to punch someone in the face.

I could get into this angle if it ended with Steve Blackman coming back and kicking Snow's (or whoever's) ass for making an idiot out of Lance Storm, followed by Storm and Blackman as tag-team champs. IT'S PARTY TIME!!

Of course, even in my imaginary-WWE-world HHH world beat those guys in a handicap match to become the tag-team champs by himself. POLITICS!

Lance could rehash some bad gimmicks of the past to try to get charisma. Imagine him in a Giant-Gonzales type outfit, or dressed up like Tugboat.

Okay, perhaps not.

No, no, having Storm re-hash wrestlecrap could work as long as he's always reluctant, and mocking the fan's taste, ie "So this is what you want? You want me to pretend to be a plumber? What is this, the Village People?"

Why do I keep getting flashes of Storm trying to become Jericho, ala Kanyon to DDP? I keep seeing Storm wearing that checkerboard outfit and then complaining that he lost because his outfit blinded him on the way to the ring. Actually, though, Kanyon would be a good candidate. It would be easy enough to explain his jump to Raw by showing a skit where someone asks Stephanie why Kanyon was on Raw now and she could reply "Who?"

I didn't know he continued writing since his days at 411. I thought he quit back then. Or maybe it was the previous times he moved from websites, and I thought he had quit. He was hit-and-miss with me, but he was a fun recapper.
