Here I go with another very exciting Confidential thread, Even though I didn't post anythig from last weeks fantastic Confidential, maybe the funnest of the year with Cena going to the Blue Jay game. Trish & Val doing a one day trip to Disney World with a planefull of kids. Segments on Foley's book signings and the highlight of the night 10 questions with Jericho who called Oprah a scam, tore into Celine Dion and ripped apart New Jersey. Add to that Hockey Players name spelling bee and no one would ever match Jericho 10 Question segment

Can this week be as good, well no. LoL. But still a solid show

-Zach Story- Wow first of all there's no way I can boo a one legged kid after this story I don't know how anyone could no matter how cynical you are. He had an father who was abusive to his mother and left them when he was four. First felt pain on his leg and the doctors said he was just looking for attention then finds out it was cancer and had to remove it. Had to go to 5 funerals for friends before he even reached his teens. Jeeesh remind me to complain when my A/C goes down... Then they talked to a few of his trainers and mentioned the Make a Wish story with Hogan. No mention of NWATNA but not surprised about that at all. Maybe I'm a softie but that's some life story.

-Smackdown in Japan- First off Torrie is shopping in a Canoe. How interesting! That water sure looks brown. It's like a nightmare unable to get away from pushy salespeople. Torrie seems to know how to handle snakes... Next part had me laughing out loud. Cena & Matt eating out in Japan. Cena saying the rice was "Straight out of Uncle Ben's" LoL. It's funny seeing the reaction of the more experience Matt Hardy and newcomer to Japannese cusine Cena. Excellent fun segment!

-Lightning Kid vs. Razor Ramon- With the 2 wrestlers and the ref you get 3 variations of the mullet. This match loses all it's goodness when you know the outcome LoL. I did get a kick out of the Raw set there and the reactions of the fans were better then the match, boy was that arena in shock and marking out.

-Outside the Ropes: Foley- Even the great Foley couldn't messure up to the amazing Y2J 10 Questions, but hell it's Foley, you gotta love the big guy describing how he has to fit into a little amusement park seat.

-Bradshaw book- Who on earth would trust Bradshaw for finincial tips. Will anybody who's not a wrestling fan buy it? I'm sure all the his readers will be wrestling fans, the same fans who pay $40 for sub-par PPVs. Really how smart are we with our money to begin with LoL.

Well not the A+ show that was last week, but a pretty good show. Cena just stole the show, that guy just rules! And the Zach story is very interesting. Seems like a legit nice kid.

Glad I missed Confidential, as now I won't feel guilty over my continued dislike of Peg Legged. And yes, I am cynical enough to boo him even if I did see the story.

Will the woman who left her nine infants at Shea Stadium, please pick them up. They already scored six in the first off Tom Glavine, and know more letters of the alphabet than John Franco.

Sounds like a good show. I always seem to forget it's on, though I did see the Cena/Hardy segment, that was funny.

The Zach segments were very good.

Cena and Matt were hilarious.

Of course the Bradshaw segment sucked.

I concur wholeheartedly my friend.
Especially after realizing about many talented, hard working guys have to wait years, even decades(if ever) before gaining some interest by Vinny Mac, meanwhile this flip-happy, no-personality, peg-leg gets a contract right out of high-school.
Oh, the ways of the world. I am really bitter, but I suppose its because I think too much.

Half right. WHAT, I'M SORRY

Hey, I've got an idea - let's ask Zach if he'd rather be a WWE superstar or have his leg back. Then let's ask all your hard-working, unfairly-ignored friends if they'd just as soon lop off a limb to go get Vince's attention.

I know the IWC is a negative breed, but DAMN! To be constantly bashing someone who overcame cancer, has one leg, and overcame every perceivable odd to achieve his dream of becoming a WWE superstar--that's just vicious!

Get over it. Vince saw potential him him, Vince did the hiring, he's even slotted himself into a program with the boy so he must have some faith in him. You have complaints, take it up with the one responsible, not with Zach. You don't like his work, you think he can't cut a promo, all the standard complaints levied against a wrestler -- okay, go ahead. I think he's green and he could use some development too. But don't bash a man just because of his disability, and toss around the insult equivilant of 'nigger' at him. That's just crass. (And keep in mind that there are disabled Wieners around here who may take offense to casual offhand nastiness... like me, for instance.)

It's pretty harsh to boo a kid that's looked death in the face and overcame it to live a dream ... yeah, it's all a marketing thing, but hey, I'm sure Zack knows that too ... hell, that kid could probably kick my ass ... Now granted, I don't want to see him win the WWE title or crammed down my throat for an hour of Smackdown every week, but let's cut the kid a break and applaud him for what he's trying (and can) do.

Let me say I am in awe of what Zack Gowen has come through and can do in a ring.

That said, my problem is that I'm in awe of the fact that it's a one-legged man doing it, not the fact that it's being done. That sort of feeling goes away after a while, and then you're left with a bit of a problem. He really cannot work a typical match due to his physical limitations. When the shock, awe, and good feelings wear off I have a bad feeling he's going to get turned on something fierce by the crowds. And while I don't think I could ever boo him, he won't hold my interest as a fan, and will inspire me more often than not to change the channel or not be interested in spending money to see him perform.

Et tu, CRZ?

Sigh. I may not be thinking the things you necessarily agree with, that doesn't mean I'm not thinking. I infact think too much about the business for my own good. This is how I feel and I'm not going to lie or deny it. But if it is indeed such a problem for you, then I'll refrain from making any further comments about Mr. Gowen in future posts.

As for the rest of you, I've already had to defend my stance countless times, and its not worth it. Its not the first time I've been chased by the PC police for being honest. Think what you will, but let me let you in on something. I feel just about the same regarding La Resistance as I do about Zach Gowen, yet its only Gowen who I'm not allowed to criticize(OMG HOW DARE YOU HE SURVIVED CANCER!--And when the fuck did I mention anything about his cancer??). So much for equal opportunity.

So yeah, I'm not impressed, so I'm a bigot. I plead guilty then.
