Ok... i know this idea has been kicked around in some threads.... but i figured i would start a new thread for this subject... i still stick with the opinion that in a few weeks the big show should join ( i wish it was scott norton) but chances are it will be steiner (especially after passing the physical)... any opinions?
I got a great idea. How about you take the three guys in the nWo, and get them over by themselves as uber-heels. Wouldn't that be great instead of plugging the nWo with chaff like Big Slow?
eventually the storyline is going to dictate bringing someone in or the wwf people teaming up and destroying the nWo.... a month or so is quite long enough to get three people over as heels.... and besides the storyline never dicated that all the nWo was already here....
I'm goona have to shoot the idea down, too. A three-member nWo is all we need. Maybe there could be expansion in the distant future (post SummerSlam), but for now the group should establish itself. I mean, expanding before the group is ready would just kill the angle.
And that would be bad.

As long as you add in a few (3 more at most) people who are perceived as top or close to top guys, there shouldn't be much of a problem. They can be added gradually to keep the nWo fresh and strong even if they start accumulating losses or getting stale. Scott Steiner and Shawn Michaels are both good candidates, I would say. For the sixth, it would a be a great spot to bring in someone from the developmental territories like Brock Lesnar, Bob Orton, or Leviathan.

If they have to add members [and I think they can get by without it] I think younger talent would be better. I don't see Michaels making much of a contribution in the ring, and they don't really need a mouthpiece. Unless they wanna keep up the "old and washed up" image.
Bill Savage went over to the (Stu Hart) house and one of the Hart kids was running around with his hair wet. Savage asked why his hair was wet. Stu said, "The little bastard broke a vase this morning, so I stuck his head in the toilet. Want me to show you again?" From the Ring Around the Northwest newsletter
I think bring in a manager of some sort (not Vince. Bischoff would be cool, if just to see what Vince would do to humiliate him.). No more wrestlers though.
Hear me out. All you guys here are joking about nWold and so on. They obviously need fresh blood. Someone who can being nWo to the future. Enter Maven, the winner of Tough Enough. He gets set upon by 'Taker every day, and Al Snow and Tazz are out doing TE2. So Maven turns to the nWo for help. So, during a Hardcore Title rematch with 'Taker, the nWo does their run in and lay waste the Dead Man. Maven spray paints 'nWo' on 'Taker's back, JR calls him all kinds of names on the mike, and just like that the feud boils over.
Scott Norton? He's got Vaderitis. He's awesome in Japan, but can't seem to cut the mustard the same way in the U.S. Besides, wasn't one of the last times the WWF seen him, didn't he yell that he was a "fat piece of shit?"
I think Booker T and Test would make great additions. Booker would get the respect he never got from other WWF superstars and fans. Test could finally get some lady to "take the Test." Oh, and to do that super-cool switcheroo business with Nash.

for everyone calling for X=pac to be in the NWO. It was Hogan who had Waltman fired form WCW. When X came back to the WWF, in his first promo he said Hogan told Bischoff Waltman "Wasn't cutting the mustard." He also said in the recent wwf.com interview that alot of guys have a "legitimate beef" with the NWO for taking over the tv time. So i think Shawn Waltman has real heat with Terry Bolea that will keep X-pac out of the Nwo.

True, Hogan is against X-Pac but we all know how much he is buddies with Hall and Nash too. So maybe it just comes down to who has more stroke, Hogan or Hall and Nash together. Oh well, maybe X-Pac and HBK come back and join HHH (if he's willing to share the spotlight) then we can put to rest to the DX vs. nWo debate from years ago.
Anyway, back to the topic. I think a three man nWo is nice for now, but eventually they are going to need someone who can wrestle. Maybe Hall is still pretty good, I don't know, but I still think they need to add someone who can wrestle.
And in my opinion "someone who can wrestle" counts out both Michaels and Steiner.
Only person I can see fitting in is Jarrett, but as it's been noted many times he probably won't be back unless the WWA becomes a contender.
Maybe Benoit when he comes back? Maybe HHH joins them? (we haven't really seen where he stands on the whole thing yet.) Maybe Jericho? Hennig? He IS an ex member.
I think if it were up to me I'd add Hennig and Benoit. Hennig can be great as a heel if given the time and Benoit can just kick some ass.
