So me and a friend were discussing the jobber order in the WWE-how previous booking and current pushes dictate the ranking of the wrestlers in erms of wins and losses. Here's the list that we came up with for Raw, from lowest to highest, in terms of the lowliest jobber and winningest main eventer. It's totally base don random bullshit and opinion rather than stats or anything time-consuming like that. I might knock one together for SmackDown too.
JOBBER Rosey Spike Dudley D-Von Dudley Maven Tommy Dreamer Steven Richards Al Snow Chris Nowinski Bubba Dudley Val Venis The Hurricane Lance Storm Sylvan Grenier Rene Dupree Rico Goldust Rodney Mack Christian Ric Flair Test Rob van Dam Scott Steiner Randy Orton Booker T Kane Chris Jericho Shawn Michaels Kevin Nash Triple H Goldberg TERMINATOR
Whaddaya think? Opinion? Disagreement? Alteration? all are welcome. The early-going and final few were easy choices, but the middle was kinda tough.
I'd say your list's about right, except I might flop Rico and Val - seems like Val wins a lot - but it might be impression only.
Didn't see Jerry Lawler and it seems he works almost as often as Flair and Michaels. Usually wins, so I stick him in there at about the same place as Flair.
If your going to put Jerry Lawler on you might as well put Jim Ross on there too. He has had what about 2 or 3 matches. Don't know if he has won them all or not.
Shopkeeper: Take this object, but beware;it carries a terrible curse! Homer: Oooh, that's bad. Shopkeeper: But it comes with a free Frogurt! Homer: That's good! Shopkeeper: The Frogurt is also cursed. Homer: That's bad. Shopkeeper: But you get your choice of toppings! Homer: That's good! Shopkeeper: The toppings contain potassium benzoate. [Homer looks puzzled.] Shopkeeper: That's bad. Homer: Can I go now?
Try and remember the last time D-Von a)Wrestled in a singles match on Raw, and b)WON a singles match on Raw. Then try and picture him beating anybody above him one-on-one.
The following post expresses the opinions of a raving Jerichoholic. He is biased, opinionated and bitter. You have been warned.
I'd probably switch the order of Booker, Jericho and Kane. Y2J should be at the bottom of those three, and Booker would probably be a little bit ahead of Kane. Then again, it's your list, and you can do whatever you want with it.

Orton should probably be ahead of Jericho, because he's going to be(if he already isn't)the #2 heel on Raw, and he barely ever lost before the injuries and he isn't going to be doing too much losing in the future. Jericho is just sort of there right now, and is probably at the same level as RVD.
I'd probably put Kane at Nash's spot since Kevin has beaten Jericho and that's pretty much it. Kane barely ever loses and is booked strong pretty much all of the time. Nash hasn't done much of anything and can't even get on TV right now.
The Frenchies should be ahead of Goldust. If nothing else, they have singles victories over RVD and Kane.
Besides the tag match with HBK, which Michaels got the pinfall in, and his DQ victory over HHH, name a match Kevin Nash has won since his comeback. Give it a shot.
I didn't realize Tom Henke wrestled on RAW, let alone deserved the top spot.
Over 1600 posts and still never a Wiener of the Day!
Q: If you could have one superpower -- the strength of 100 men, invisibility, or the ability to fly -- which would you choose and why?
Michael Vick: Oh man, invisibility. If I was in a bad situation or something or I said something or you know, caught with two girls I could just disappear. I could be gone just like that -- no trouble.

Fair enough, but here's some fun as far as I can tell about Buh Buh- since he lost the HUGE match against Triple H in September 2002, how many singles matches has he had on Raw? That's right, 1. And he LOST that match, on 5.26.03, to Rodney Mack. So I guess I can understand D-Von being low, but Buh Buh sure doesn't belong that much farther up from him.
Ubermonkeys - that said, Bubba DID win several singles contests for awhile, and if put in the ring with any of the people below him, it's reasonable to expect he should win.
D-Von got himself a win over Triple H about 18 months ago with TONS of interference, and since then did what? Jobbed on Velocity lots, tagged with Ron Simmons and jobbed some more.... He's been proven useless without Bubba so his position is very well deserved.
1.14.02- Lost to Spike 2.04.02- Lost to RVD 4.01.02- Beat Raven 4.08.02- NC Booker T, beat Goldust 4.15.02- Lost to Raven, beat Stevie 4.29.02- Lost to Stevie 5.06.02- Beat Stevie, lost to Raven 5.20.02- Beat Regal 5.27.02- Lost to Brock 6.10.02- Lost to Brock 6.24.02- Lost to Eddy 7.08.02- Lost to Benoit 8.05.02- Beat Big Show 9.09.02- Beat Stevie 9.30.02- Lost to Triple H 5.26.03- Lost to Rodney Mack
So as far as the list goes, he's 2-1 vs. Stevie and 0-1 vs. Spike, guys below him. His singles record on Raw since the beginning of 2002 is 7-11-1. I'm not sure whose argument I'm making with this, just kinda putting it out there.

D-Von's singles record in the same time period is 5-6. Obviously this isn't entirely accurate since I don't have Velocity results to go by. 17-21-1 is his overall record, as far as I can tell. Looks like 7-12-1 when he teams with Buh Buh, 3-1 with Batista, 1-1 with Simmons.
Looking at this, apparently the intention of this post was to prove I have no life. I think I've made my point.
Again, the list isn't put together using stats or any rigid form of classification. It's decided thinking "Would X job to Y?". Hence kevin Nash's high ranking, D-Von's low showing, and Bubba's surprisingly solid position.
Originally posted by Spaceman SpiffIf it were up to me, Helms would be back on SD w/out the Hurricane gimmick.
I disagree. I think that the Hurricane is really decent, and he's very much needed on Smackdown! in the cruiserweight division. Keep the gimmick, though, or else he'll look like everyone else in the division who wear a full faced mask, like Dragon or Mysterio.
Heck Hurricane's gimmick is one of the freshest things on the show, with exception of the hilarity that is Rico.
Steven + Faith: Three months of happiness, and a controlling, emotionally manipulative, and psycho sister. Not Faith...Faith's sister. Don't ask. PLEASE don't ask...
The only thing that bums me out about the Hurricane gimmick is that he doesn't seem to be doing the mask giveaway thing any more. I think the Hurricane could stand to be bumped up a few spots on the list -- I don't think he's any lower on the pecking order than Storm or Les Frenchies.
And I think it's overly optimistic to put Goldberg over Triple H, but we'll see come Summerslam.
"next to of course god america i love you land of the pilgrims' and so forth oh say can you see by the dawn's early my country tis of centuries come and go and are no more what of it we should worry in every language even deafanddumb thy sons acclaim your glorious name by gorry by jingo by gee by gosh by gum why talk of beauty what could be more beaut- iful than these heroic happy dead who rushed like lions to the roaring slaughter they did not stop to think they died instead then shall the voice of liberty be mute?"
What I meant was, put Helms in the cruiser division as an arrogant dick heel. He can cut a promo about comic books are for losers, he's busy signing autographs for "snot-nosed" kids while all the "boys" are heading back to the hotel w/ chicks, he was never treated w/ respect on Raw, etc. Bring back the Sugar Shane Helms persona, except as a heel who thinks he's God's gift to women.
I love the Hurricane gimmick, but he's been doing it for a while, and I think it's time to freshen him up (yeah, I know they'll lose all the merchandising $$$). It looks like Kidman will be a heel when he returns, but other than him, the division won't have any strong heels (pending what they do w/ Knoble).
Hey, fuelinjected, I saw a ECCW show a couple of years ago when they came down across the border. It wasn't good, with the possible exception of Tony Kozina.
