I thought the show was rather "bleh" in general. Not much of importance going, no angle was really furthered.

Highlight Reel - What was the point? With all that they could do with Jericho they use him to further the dead storyline of Test/Steiner/Stacy. I laughed my ass off at the "small penis" comment, not because it was funny, but because of how stupid it was accompanied with the overdone laughter of Steiner and Stacy.

Rico - That crowd was just dead. The crowd didn't even laugh during most of the comedy spots in the match, only some giggles when Rico skipped around with the referee. Then he was booed after he won, although it seemed more forced. Like, when you go to see a comedian who's bombing - you sit in your chair and think to yourself "Come on, get to the part that's supposed to be the punchline so we can laugh." Same thing here, "Hurry up and get to the finish so we can boo you and you can leave the ring."

Main Event - Really dragged. I actually enjoyed the last few minutes of it. It was just too long and I kept waiting for Kane to officially turn heel, chokeslam RVD, and join Evolution.

Raw really was boring last night, and I'm an easy person to entertain. However there was a dim light at the end of that tunnel, and who held it up for us? Evolution! Those guys really are becoming the highlight of Raw (as well as Jericho and Christian and Victoria), and HHH provided in my opinion, the best match of the night. I remember the first time him and RVD hooked up and it was a styles clash. It was okay, though. This was much smoother, and though the crowd wasn't into it, I enjoyed that immensely. Oh, and Randy's part of the entrance video immediately became one of my favorites. Big ups to Evolution!

However, much of the show came off as half assed, and well, I was thinking of blaming it on food poisoning. Gail Kim came off great in an interview I read, so I won't judge until I see her in a longer match and one on one. The battle royal (in length and execution) was on the fly and I hate that. Don't they learn ANYTHING from Heat?! The women are talented athletes and should be treated as such.

As far as Stacy goes, I'll just give her three words for being in this feud with Steiner and Test: Grow Some Balls!

BO-RING (except Evolution).

I was getting more of a Richard Moll ("Bull" from Night Court) vibe from Kane, myself...

I really liked the main event. RVD was great and the match held my attention. The best part is that they didn't let Randy Orton punk out RVD, which I thought would be the cheap ending.

I didn't get why Bischoff was acting like a face in changing the stipulations mid-match.

I didn't see the need for Kane at the end either. This week was better than last weeks.

Yes they were right to chant that, it was La Fucking Resistance out there. The audience can barely keep up the obligatory USA chants anymore these guys are so fucking dull. They have nothing to offer other than the most tired, overused gimmick in the history of the business and some cheap frat boy looks.

I'm not a big fan of La Resistance, but did anyone ever think that maybe the crowd was bored because La Resistance was wrestling Hurricane and Spike ? Do you think they would of been chanting "boring" if the Dudley Boys (Bubba & Devon) were their opponents in the ring ?

Also, I think this was the first time I have ever heard a "boring" chant while La Resistance were wrestling in the ring.

I, for one, loved Raw. Best Raw I've seen in a long, long time. Everything seemed to click. When Kane said, "I hate the fans.", I thought, "God no, don't turn him heel." They have a hell of an opertunity here. Seriously, Kane could be the next Austin. I know, it sounds far fetched, but it might work. Remember when every Raw was about Austin/McMahon and Corporation? Bingo. RVD versus that guy that replaced TripleH was amazing. I can't believe the fans sat on their hands for that. Then came the Chokeslam all the way to hell on Bischoff. That, my friends, might be just as remembered as Austin's first Stunner on Vince. If Bischoff doesn't show up next week in a neck brace, I'll...probably keep watching. Did you see how Evolution scattered when Kane came out? Awesome, double awesome with cheese. The bald look rules, too. Now then, they had better follow through and book Kane/TripleH for the belt at SummerSlam. That's got money match written all over it. Kane must go over, though. I know, nobody goes over TripleH. Well, he's put Kane over in the past, and may do so again. Especially since Mr. Game looks to be finally back in Game shape. This is the guy we were supposed to get back after the quad injury. Not TripleSteiner. I can't wait to see what happens.

Highlight Reel- Which was anything but. Maybe the worst one to date. Jericho was okay with his self-absorbed king of bling bling. But t at's about it.

-Storm/Goldberg/Mack- Did you hear Goldbergs a runaway monster, the net hack's rejoice but I won't

-7 Women BattleRoyal- Trish comes in a chats with Lillian. Match was messy, Jazz got hurt right away (looks legit) which might have thrown everything out of order. Ivory gets eliminated first! Molly looked good in there, Trish & Victoria interaction still has some sizzle and seems to be the most memorable moments of the match. Like the block Stratusphere then Trish punching out and being flipped over the top rope but staying on the apron just to have Gail being thrown into her to knock her out...I think it's dumb giving the title to someone in their debut, total devalues the title. What about Ivory?. And they've done such a good job building and chasing title feuds. You want to build a new woman, copy what you did with Victoria, they did a great job building her into a legit top female and when she won the title from Trish it meant something. And she's still a strong character.

-Booker vs. Christian- This was the first good segment of the night. Booker was off the charts intense. Great match, I might even say better then their PPV outing. The crowd was hot for it and popped huge for the Booker almost win. Real great championship quality match.

-Test/Jericho vs. Stacy/Steiner- Ha I thought JR was going to lose it on King not putting over this very important feud LoL. He also really dissed Steiner, and deservedly so for forgetting what's the story of the match and not trying to end it early but doing his normal stupid pushups and taunting instead of "Hey let me win this and get out of here so Stacy won't get hurt" Stupid Steiner LoL

-Rico vs. Maven- I think Rico played it too much this week. The match had no flow and the crowd seemed annoyed by it in general and reacting to some umm "unusual" spot position. J.R seemed to really have second thoughts on this whole thing.

-Orton vs. Dreamer- I really liked Evolution first video, this one is a step down IMO. This was probably my surprise entertaining match of the night. They worked a good match.

-Resistance vs. Spike/Hurricane- I thought this match was okay. Don't understand the minor boring chants here. Sick bump to the outside by Spike and another over the top bump by a Frenchie by being hip tossed. I enjoyed this match, it looks like Hurricane is going through the Heat locker room trying to find the right partner.

-HHH vs. RVD- The fans didn't seem to be buying this match. I've seen RVD in nothing mid-card matches with he fans more emotionally involved. I think everyone kind of knew no matter how close RVD comes he ain't winning tonight. I was just surprised that it wasn't Kane who made RVD lose. Well I'll give credit the match was damn good, 20 minutes worth of solid stuff. It would have been amazing if I actually could have brought myself into buy some of the close RVD pins... Kane stays face for the time being and ends the show with a cheesy close up of Kane's face looking scary (just like SD ending with a close up of BigShow's face looking scary LoL) Oh My God Kane's Nose Is HUGE!!!! I'M frightened!

-other stuff- Kane-0-rama backstage. I liked RVD interaction with Kane, RVD gets dissed for his promos but he seems real to me... Hey no Earl Hebner reffing, shouldn't he as for next week off instead seeing they are going to be in Montreal, speaking of will Frenchies be faces or heels there?

Mixed bag on Raw tonight, the only thing worthwhile in the first hour and 20 was a kickin IC title match that is as real legit title match as you going to see. Last part of Raw was pretty good as well last 3 matches were fun for me even though I knew RVD had zero chance of winning the title... On the other hand, don't like the idea of Gail being champ immediately on her debut, I don't like that sort of booking for anyone. Rico experiment isn't as good as I was expecting. Goldberg monster push. The Joy!. And Test & Steiner being part of the top of the 2nd hour segment, is a feud that I don't think it's as important as WWE thinks it is.

I agree with Hacker, Ivory should be the new Women's Champ, and hold it for awhile. I have no complaints about Gail Kim though.
Jackie G is looking REAL good lately. The first dress she wore on heat was way nice. the second outfit was nice except for the sleeves. Last nights outfit was cool except the pants were too shredded. A midi would look good on her, but i think she's too tall for short shorts. Rico's hair is too long, they should have kept it short and just added the highlites.
Raw is kind of limping along for me right now.

To sum the show up basically - "Good idea, bad execution". I think the booking was good, but the matches just seemed off and slow.

Seriously, Kane could be the next Austin

I'm going to go out on a limb and say.....not a chance in hell.

Kane hasn't proven to be any kind of significant draw in the past, and suddenly he's going to be on par (draw-wise) as Austin? No. Way.

How many years was Austin "not a significant draw" before he became the biggest drawing star in the history of the industry?

For most of the matches I saw, I knew the ending because of the opponent. I think the writers had little originality this week.

Maven, Hurricane, Spike, and Dreamer = jobbers

Simple. He wanted it to be a great show. Does having your main event end in a DQ make a great show? HAIL NO. So he changed it to no-DQ. Realized that he was running a tad long and that it would take for-fucking-ever to drag a sandbagging HHH into the ring, and made it FCA. Or maybe the FCA stip was because he wanted to squeeze as much entertainment for the fans as possible. He's not an egomanaical heel, he's just an egomaniac. It can run both ways.
