With recent firings and releases of wrestlers like Rosey, Crash, and Roddy Piper, what superstar is next to bolt from WWE? I mean it even looks like Hogan could be leaving...again. I think Kevin Nash is next to go because it doesn't seem like there's anything left for him to do, and there have been some rumors that he isn't happy with his current role. Will he follow suit with Hogan? Personally I wouldn't mind if Vince McMahon got unhappy and left...well off TV at least, how many more times do we need to see the "KISS MY ASS CLUB"?

Realistically, I think one of the next people to be released will be
a) The Cat- Only commentates on Velocity. Easily replacable and hasn't even wrestled yet on TV. What purpose does he serve?
b) Stevie Richards- This guy hasn't been given much attention at all since he first joined the WWF except for when he was with the RTC.
c) Tie- Jackie/Goldust/Bill DeMott- None of these have been featured prominently on the A-grade shows much lately, with the exception of Jackie. She's been on occassionally.
It's doubtful if Hogan will be let go for good. He still can pop a crowd and Vince, IMHO, would give in to Hogan's creative demands for three reasons: 1) Vince wants to maintain a good business relationship with Hogan, since Hogan virtually carried the WWF into stardom in the '80s, 2) To prevent Hogan from showing up at NWA-TNA (doubtful if he would, but entirely cutting Hogan loose definitely serves a threat to McMahon), and 3) To continue the Mr. America-Mr. McMahon feud. Vince won't pass up an opportunity to put himself over.
Kevin Nash is another possibility. I do find it unlikely that Nash will leave. Triple H will convince Vince to keep Nash under a WWE contract in some sort of capacity.
Another (un)likely candidate is Nathan Jones.

The Cat's employeed??? When the hell did this happen?!?
My pick is someone from WCW or ECW. I think if Vince is just in a cost-cutting mode, he'll cut loose someone who "worked for the enemy" before one of his boys, even if the WCW/ECW guy has more of a future, forgetting through stupidity that they're all his boys now.
He's always liked proving WCW guys are beneath his guys, which is why I say guys like Demott, Kidman, etc are the ones who should be waiting for a phone call/FedEx.

Probably before the end of the year: Molly Holly, Bill DeMott, Rosey, Jackie, Funaki.
Maybe Rodney Mack and Jazz a little bit further down the road. (they get virtually no crowd response now)
I came close to saying Tommy Dreamer and Spike, but I think the WWE will keep them around because they are always able to take a good beating in a squash match.

Oh, I don't think Vince cares about that one bit.

Also total crap. Vince may hoover up camera time like there's no tomorrow, but if there's one thing he can't be faulted on it's embarrassing himself in the extreme when the time is right. The man has no qualms about being made to look like total tool for the sake of a feud. See the whippings he recieved from Austin, Shane, Hogan, HHH....
Originally posted by CripAs much as I like him, I think Kanyon must be among the next to go.
THey've done nothing with him since his return and are probably just waiting for a window in his contract before releasing him.
I sure as hell hope not. He's got size, charisma, talent, and can wrestle and mesh w/ practically anyone. He's a relatively "new" guy, so the crowd won't be burned out on him. He can be a very good mid-card heel, and an eventual US Title holder.
There's much more deserving people that aren't going to make Vince a dime (Jacqueline, Bob Holly [injured or not], Mark Henry [fat contract or not], Nathan Jones, Rodney Mack for starters).
But of course Kanyon has the "WCW buy-out guy" stigma, which makes him a 2nd class citizen in Vince's eyes.
Kanyon leaving wouldn't be that bad, as I'd rather see him be a maineventer and tare it up with Raven in NWA then see him get squashed by Albert and Bill DeMott.

Bill DeMott and Nathan Jones seem to be next up on the chopping block.
How the hell does Stevie Richards do it? I mean, this guy has had "FIRE ME" written all over him for the past four years yet everyday he wakes up knowing he's still got a job.

He'd also be making less than he would in the WWE. There's also no guarantee NWA:TNA will be around in a year, so I'd rather Kanyon stay in the WWE.
