Oh, and Mr. Perfect is still God.

I wouldn't mind seeing Flair/Taker at Wrestlemania

Helmsley/Angle... I still pick Angle

Edit: Now JR is comparing Steph to the Figure Skating judges.

Without the HHH connection can she keep using "My Time?" At least she stopped using his name.

    What?

And to have a story that is purely marketed to internet smarts and the boys in the back. What a load of shit? This is Hulk Hogan, goddamn it. Razor and Diesel. Can't the marks get to mark out just once? Just fucking once? They did it with Flair who doesn't mean shit to the average WWF mark, they didn't even have much of a story for him, but at least he got to come back with a pop.

    Who booked this shit?

So...

Why bitch about something you don't watch? There are of course better things you can do with your time.

No matter how bad things may get, just imagine what would happen if Vince Russo was booking again, and you will feel better.

Here's what I would have done.

Bring back the old 91/92 Undertaker, Flair, Perfect heel tandem (- Heenan), on the third last show before Wrestlemania, have HBK run in on Mr Perfect.

On the second last show (Raw) before Wrestlemania have Kane join the Undertaker at the start of the show, and then have a match against HHH and HBK in the main event, Kane and Undertaker destroy them and The Outsiders run in for the save.

Then on the very last show, the Smackdown before Wrestlemania, have Ric Flair finally get his title shot that he's been after all along, and just when he's about to somehow win the match, Hulk Hogan runs in as a huge surprise to the biggest face pop anyone ever heard.

Then you've got three big matches at the PPV.

And I'm no creative genius. It's really not that hard.

By the way, when does criticism become bitching. I know it's an oldie, but I've always been stumped by that one.

I think the problem stemmed from you saying that you "don't watch." Since when do we care whether you watch or not? If you want to stop watching, leave quietly. If you raise a big stink when you decide to quit watching that qualifies as bitching.

Wow. That would just... utterly... completely... totally... suck.

Anyway, Steph's out, White's in. Are we going to go through a billion refs this match?

Oh, and I think Steph's keeping "My Time" in the divorce. :P

Sometimes it's also good to let an angle play out for more than one interview and one backstage skit before coming up with a final judgement.

No, no, no. Ol' Raptor said something about watching with the sound down. So I just said that I don't watch it. I cancelled my cable months ago, I still keep in contact with what's happening though.

Regardless, you are still out of line to criticize something you don't watch. And creating a Hogan/Flair match with no hype, just booked the last show before the PPV is hardly a good idea. You were right about one thing, however: you're no genius.

For those watching, what music did the nWo use? Was it the good ole porno theme, Voodoo Chile, the Wolfpac music, or something new the WWF cooked up?

Were the cool voices in the nWo theme (i.e. the ominous "nWo" voice or Bischoff saying "Two Sweet" or 4 Life" or something to that effect)?

I was never a WCW fan so I'm not sure what you're talking about... but I don't remember any voices.

Well, I'm just commentating on the overall idea of bringing back these guys as heels. I think it sucks. Sure they could do something awesome, but I just think that from experience, when the angle doesn't really make sense from that fundamental what-the-marks-want point of view that it usually bombs badly. Such as the Invasion.

Anyway Raptor, are you telling me that Hogan vs Flair, Outsiders vs Kane & Undertaker wouldn't be an exciting story and two huge marketable matches for Wrestlemania? Sure the matches would suck, but the marks would eat the shit up.

4 for 6... I'm on a roll here!

I stand by my pick for Austin to beat Y2J... if HHH had won I would have changed my pick. Having said that I still predict Hunter/Jericho at WM, just not for the title.

Booking the matches the week before Wrestlemania is a bad idea, period.

Yep, Steph cost HHH the match. Logical, I guess. I see Linda stepping in on this or something. My predictions are sucking, lol.

This isn't 1993. Hogan and Flair didn't draw in WCW, and I doubt it'd draw in the WWF.

Leave the booking to the professionals please, and the bitching to those of us actually...you know...watching the product.

Thanks!

Shit...Angle won! Does that mean Austin HAS to win to set up a heel/face Mania?

I can't believe Angle won. Believe me, this will not last otherwise I will riot. HHH will get his title shot back, otherwise what kind of backstage monster is he if he can't even weasel his way into the main at WrestleMania?

EDIT~Meltzer predicts Hunter wins back the shot on free TV. If Meltz says its true it must be true.
