Yeah i thought to myself, how in the hell are they gonna pull this off without messing something up. I was hoping for a swerve with RVD joining up bc alas I have never seen him as a heel, though I have heard positive things about it.

I thought the stipulation was that he'll lose his mask if he loses the match, not retire.

Kane seems to be fired up again, so I wouldn't bet against him.

I guess demasking Kane's a gamble, but anyone who says it's going to suddenly leave Kane dead in the water hasn't been paying attention for the last three years. Kane hasn't been more than "entrance over" since his fued with *XPAC* ended in '99. His career *IS* dead in the water, and they may as well attempt something to freshen the character up.

Of course, I'm sure it's all just a plot by HHH to bury Chris Jericho. Everything else is.

Sorry, bad pun with the fire.

They're really pumping up the MSG aspect of it, I must say.

Unless, Kane swerves everyone and joins the Evolution during the match. I just hope Kane doesn't lose the mask. He has the mask going for him, take that away and what has he got?

I kinda want them to demask Kane. I'm not really sure why, though. It's risky, but what else are they gonna do with the guy? Like you guys have said, he's been treading water the last 3-4 years.

Problem being they'd have to give him one HELL of a makeup job to justify the years of mask wearing in the first place, and then keep that makeup job up for as long as he's unmasked. Any excuses to the contrary would be extremely lame

Hey, plastic surgery has advanced greatly since he was a kid. And with his savings earned from wrestling, maybe he could finally afford some. Kane has done a whole lot of nothing the past few years anyways...maybe Rico needs a tagteam partner.

How in the heck will be wrestle with makeup on? That is the problem I see with this. He takes off the mask, and he has no scars, he is just another guy in Red and Black. Another big guy on the roster. Actually, I would like to see Kane lose and about to un-mask and Undertaker runs down to stop him and gives HHH the last ride and takes Kane to Smackdown.

Wow, is this the greatest split-up angle or what?

They're not gonna' feud, neither one is turning heel, they're gonna' unmask Kane (thus stripping him of his character and his heat), and they're gonna' treat RVD as a complete and total jobber for the rest of his tenure with the company.

For a team that's been together since December, God couldn't have booked this angle better himself.

Remember when WWF treated RVD like the main-event star he is?
Neither do I.

Kane will unmask leading to Kevin Nash's return. Nash has been out for revenge for about 7 years now against New Diesel but he just couldn't find the damn guy! Who woulda thunk to check under the Kane mask?

I figure the match will end with a countout, or that Evolution of something will interfere.

Triple H keeps his title, Kane still wins and keeps his mask, everybody's happy.

Well, except the fans, who will be pissed off. WWE did find a creative ending to the Billy and Chuck wedding, which was the one original thing they've done in the last two years, so maybe lightning can strike twice.
