Anyone else looking forward to the debut of Gail Kim on Raw? I have yet to see her wrestle, but I have heard great things. She's also a looker, which is a good thing. So, any comments? Has anyone seen her wrestle yet?

Are you ready for Mahkan-mania to run wild all over you?

I mark for Molly Holly and Lance Storm.

I have done some work for the indy fed(Apocalypse Wrestling Federation) where she got her training and start-under a mask, believe it or not. If I recall correctly, she got her WWE break when Wrestlemania was in Toronto last year and she got the ear of Molly Holly with the help of Jason Sensation.

It looks like she still has her website.

edit: Most of her matches here in Toronto were against/with Tracy, now of NWA-TNA.

When the Smackdown crew was here, I saw her wrestle...she didn't look bad at all. She definitely had the moves, if a little green. But she seemed on the smallish side...even when standing next to Torrie....so we'll have to see how she fares with Victoria and Jazz.

Holy Shit! Take a look at those videos on the website that was posted. Way way WAY too many armdrag takedowns aside (god, I hate that about the lucha libre style), she is what the women's division needs. Some of those moves in the videos made me think "female Rey Mysterio". Here's to hoping WWE lets here do insane stuff in the matches.

If you hate armdrag takedowns, you must hate Y2j.
Warning: Never look up his "Man of 1007 Holds List".

LionJeetSingh: I am unaware of the AWF's summer plans at this point. I know last summer they did the CHIN picnic as well as the CNE.

I think you have "arm drag" confused with "arm bar." I see 13 mentions of arm drags on this (geocities.com) list of Chris Jericho's 1004 moves, and 133 mentions of arm bars.

NOTE: The above post makes no sense. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Yes.
I saw here in a dark match with Nidia back in January. She's good, & she can pull off a lot of the "flippy stuff" without it looking contrived (a la Rey). They put on a pretty damn decent match together.

She absolutely is teeny-tiny. I was in the second row (floor seats), she & Nidia both walked by where I was standing, & I was kinda feeling like the Undertaker compared to Rey & Crash. And I'm all of 5'7"! (Probably 5'9" in the shoes I had on.) She's the centerfold article in the May 2003 Raw Magazine. (The one with HHH on the cover. :-) ) The bio information there claims that she's 5'4". I think not.

I think she'll be a great addition to the women's division on Raw. They could do all sorts of interesting things playing her size & style against Victoria & Jazz. Could be some really good stuff.

Mind elaborating on that a little bit? I'd say Lita and Victoria make the flippy stuff look alot more "contrived", if we're thinking of it in the same terms that is.
