HHH over Nash, as we begin the long and winding road towards a Goldberg-HHH showdown at SummerSlam.
Goldberg over Jericho -- basically the same reason as above. Though I'll probably ENJOY watching this match.
Booker over Christian
La Resistance over RVD/Kane -- Kane turns heel, though it would be a neat trick to have RVD turn instead....
Michaels over Flair -- Has Flair won even one match, besides McMahon at the Royal Rumble, since returning to the WWE?
Test over Steiner -- Bleah.
Dudleyz over Mack/Nowinski -- not sure why they didn't just stick 3MW in here instead, seeing as though you're just building towards Dudleyz/Resistance for next couple of months.
Bischoff over Austin in redneck triathalon -- or else how can the Co-GM concept worth if Bischoff doesn't keep at least SOME power?
*Jazz over Ivory *Dudley Boyz over Nowinski/Mack *Test over Steiner *La Resistance over Kane/RVD, new champs *Christian over Booker T, or Booker by DQ, but the bottom line is that Christian keeps the IC belt *Michaels over Flair *Goldberg over Jericho *Austin over Bischoff in the Redneck Triathalon *HHH over Nash when Foley turns heel. Hey, at least it would be surprising.
Over 1400 posts and still never a Wiener of the Day!
Well you're in your little room and you're working on something good but if it's really good you're gonna need a bigger room and when you're in the bigger room you might not know what to do you might have to think of how you got started in your little room da da da
I am officially psyched up for this show. The picks:
-Jazz defeats Ivory clean as a whistle, obviously. -Nowinski/Mack get some form of screwy win over the Dudleyz-possibly a D-Von heel turn? -Test over Steiner-they won't end such a potentially tasteless angle so suddenly -La Resistance beat Kane & RVD after Kane's self-loathing leaves van Dam open for a double spinebuster in some fashion. -Booker T whups Christian clean for the Intercontinental Title; if they were going for a Honky Tonk vibe I doubt Christian would've grabbed the last laugh on Monday. Could be wrong, though. -Shawn beats Flair clean with Sweet Chin Music. -Goldberg over Jericho, clean. -Bisch beats Austin in the Redneck Triathlon, somehow giving Austin a storyline excuse to miss Monday. -HHH triumphs in the Cell after Foley counts a reluctant three. The champ proceeds to jump Foley and beat him senseless; then, next night on Raw, Foley is bestowed with the absent Austin's managerial stroke and signs Goldberg/HHH for SummerSlam.
As bad as this PPV looks, it's not "Judgment Day" bad. With that, let's look at how things will go down.
The Dudleyz VS "Thuggin and Buggin" Rodney Mack and The Phantom of Harvard (w/ Theodore R. Long) Dudleyz will stay perpetually over, regardless of what happens. They'll job here and STILL get the tag title shot at Summerslam. Meanwhile, the Mack push will continue and Chris Harvard will just stand there. WINNERS: The Minorities.
Big Poppa Midcarder VS The Taller, Less Charismatic Version of Kid Kash COME ON! You CAN'T tell me last Monday's promo wasn't a total rip off of Kid Kash's mysoginistic spiel in TNA! That creative team, I tell ya, just FULL of original ideas! Oh, the match? Let's say Stacy turns on Steiner, much to the crowd's shoc...er...apathy! WINNER: Test wins! Still isn't over!
Raw Tag Titles: The Unlikely Duo of Rob Van Dam and Kane VS The Amazing French Freedom Canadians Kane turns...again. Didn't we just see Evil Heel Kane a few years ago? The French win, just so Vince can completely overkill the angle. You know, overkill killed Right to Censor, too. WINNERS: The Frogs
IC Title: Christian VS Booker T You people act as if WWE wouldn't job Booker in his hometown. HELLO! Not only would they do it, but they HAVE done it before! JR's note on Raw about Christian coming into a title defense with the least momentum of any IC champion pretty much confirms it. WINNER: Booker jobs in his hometown...again.
The Man Disappointment VS Best Upper-Midcarder in the Game Today! Obviously, it's gonna be Gold...no, wait a sec! Remember, Raw's got TWO MONTHS until the next PPV. And since the creative team doesn't have the attention span to build a two-month program between Goldberg and Triple H, I'll say Jericho wins through SHENANIGANS, with the blowoff coming on a future Raw main event. WINNER: Chris Jericho! YEAH! I'm DIFFERENT!
The Man VS The (Heartbreak) Kid The reason MANY will order this PPV. This is HBK's dream match, so he'll obviously bring his "A" game and Flair is still one of the best in the game. The fans are the winners here, but as for the match, well...the Clique still rules the world. Plus, Shawn is the younger guy. WINNER: HBK
Alleged Main Event: Fake World Title Match: Hell (for the viewer) in the Cell: Triple HGH VS The Original Big Poochie (Mick Foley as Guest Shiller Ref) Say it with me: "Foley takes the big bump". Triple H brings out the barbed wire 2 x 4 in an attempt to make people care. It won't work. If there is a God, Kevin Nash will not win. Amazing how Linda McMahon can say Goldberg isn't over enough to be in the main event, yet it's KEVIN NASH who's headlining this month! WINNER: If there is a God...Triple H.
This PPV looks bad, but not Judgment Day bad, so that's...a good sign...isn't it?

What is Mattitude? Utilizing the belief system and work ethic (Mattributes) of THE Matt Hardy to create a better life for yourself by fulfilling your goals and dreams. Mattitude is a quality that can help anyone -- regardless of background or past -- to achieve success. You just have to make it a lifestyle, a mindset, a religion. Mattitude, is something that can not be taught or learned. Mattitude is something that burns within. In the ring, Mattitude is the intangible, the x-factor, that gives me an advantage over everyone else.
Most correctly picked - HHH at 20-1 Most incorrectly picked - HBK at 21-1 (only Ffej correctly picked Flair).
Most correct picks - Tie between OlFuzzyBastard and Ffej at 6.5. (I gave a half point for correctly picking Booker to win, but not mentioning that Christian would retain.)
Match-up with least interest - Austin/Bischoff with only 13 picks. (If Evil Antler God had made the easy correct pick here, he would have had the most correct picks at 7. HBK was his only incorrect pick.)
Extra credit - EvilAntlerGod and myself correctly picked Booker to win, but Christian to retain. BigBad also picked Christian to retain, but not necessarily win.
Freeway 240, Oldschoolhero and myself both picked RVD to take the pin, but oldschoolhero also correctly picked the Frenchies finishing move!
OlFuzzyBastard correctly predicted the surprise guest appearance of Mr. Socko.
Numerous people correctly predicted that the redneck triathalon would be really retarded.

The pic is photoshopped to make him look bald. The original of this was circulating a few weeks back and he had all (or what is left) of his hair in it. Good pic. I always like seeing wrestlers out of the wrestling environment and enjoying themselves.
