PWTorch and 411wrestling say that Bischoff could play a role in the NWO angle as soon but niether side(Bischoff/WWF) has talked yet but are expected to in the near future as the WWF wants to bring Bischoff for the ride.

If niether sie has spoke where do they get there input from?

Thoughts?

i really, really doubt it. last i heard, bischoff was trying to start a u.s. mixed martial arts group.

if he DOES happen to show up in the wwf, he needs to bring jason hervey with him.

if Bisch comes back to lead NWO/WCW:

1) he brings Hervey with him
2) he signs David Arquette to a multimillion multiyear deal
3) Hervey/Arquette title reign, to make sure no one forgot about the WCW we all know and love
4) Kajagoogoo performs live on first WCW TV event after split
5) Ric Flair gets beat down and his hair cut in the ring by the guy who played Skippy on "Family Ties"
6) Two words: MASTER PEE

I think, therefore, I think I am. At least I think.

Over the years, I've read so many stories about things that were going to happen, and then in the end, they were just that, stories. Frankly, I wouldn't put any stock into anything I read on 411, but I guess they just steal all of their news from other places anyway. But hey, if the torch said it, it must be true. I'll believe it when i see it.

I love how 411 "breaks" news they simply cut and paste from the observer and torch.

Except that Vince McMahon will continue to control the WWF...

If Eric Bischoff comes back, it'll give the nWo a real reason to be booed. WWF fans can NOT stand the man. He's like Shane McMahon, in that he pretends to be far cooler than he really is, except I think that Bischoff kinda gets the fact that he's not. He is also not prone to trying to top the spots done by the wrestlers who make the money, so that's always a plus.

Having him back on TV as simply a character would be awesome.

This I whole-heartedly agree with. The only person the WWF could trot out that would draw more heat would be Ted Turner. Eric Bischoff was everything WWF fans hated when the WWF was the #2 promotion. Brash, arrogant, in-your-face. I wanted Uncle Eric to die, die, die. If I ever saw him again, I'd want him to die, die, die. It'd be beautiful. If the WWF did it right, the moment where Eric Bischoff gets his would be worth the price of a PPV to me. That's how much I'd want to see it. I don't think I'd be alone.

You want to know something I find a little bit scary?

The Eric Bischoff essence has been reincarnated into "The Living Shriek" we know and love as Stephanie McMahon.

Bischoff was the young hotshot exec with the big mouth who put himself in the nWo and plastered his face all over TV and put himself over talent, like Ric Flair, to get himself over.

Stephanie McMahon is a young hotshot with a big mouth who puts herself in major angles, plasters herself all over TV and puts herself over the actual talent to get herself over.

Yowzas.

No, Bischoff = hate which = interest. Amazingly enough hatred tends to create an amount of interest, because you want to see that person gets their ass kicked. Eric's apperance would pop the ratings for one or two nights, but like everyone else it would die down. Rock's return popped the ratings so hard it was amazing. But once the WWF decided not put him in an angle with Austin, the ratings died down. The WWF does not want to blow everything right away, but there are times when it should be now or never. Eric's demise should happen two or three monthes or sooner.

I also say that for the entire NWO storyline, six monthes is too much for me, but enough for me not to totally dislike the Invasion angle. I know people want a long storyline, but the NWO tends to get stale fast and if the WWF thinks it will last past King of the Ring or SummerSlam is kidding themselves.

A Fan- NWO, fun now, boring later.

If his character is portrayed properly, I think it would bring some ratings. I know I'd watch purely to see the moment where he gets his ass kicked finally. But that's how it'd have to be. He'd have to escape EVERY TIME. He'd have to be smarter and quicker, but he'd have to be a weasel, not like Vince or Shane getting physical and getting the upperhand on wrestlers.

I know what A Fan is saying, that these days ratings only spike and drop, but that hasn't always been the case, and that doesn't necessarily mean that it always has to be the case. If Bischoff and whoever he's allied with can be evil enough, they can do what Triple H did back in 1999, which is bring ratings up and keep them up as heels that guys like Mick Foley try like hell to beat and fans tune in to watch it happen.

I think that's why the casual fans were pretty into the Dudleys vs. T&A feud at first, because Trish kept NARROWLY escaping a table attack.

Seeing Eric get beaten up would be as casual fan satisfying as it would smark satisfying, I'm sure.

Come on, how many of your jaws DROPPED the night he had his head shaved? THAT was cool.

I think Bischoff would make a monster heel. As long as the WWF establishes, early on, why we should boo the man. Give the marks the story. Let long-time WWF fans know who the hell Bischoff is.

Unfortunately, we may end up seeing something similar to nWo Late Night at one point-- because there's no greater heel tactic than boring the living hell out of people. I hope it doesn't come to that.

I think it'd be awesome if Bischoff came out with the nWo, hugged Vince and said “Mission accomplished,” like was mentioned earlier. I'd have a cow.

Well, seeing how Vince admitted he contacted Eric B to ask about coming in for Invasion, I can see Eric back for the NWO. Vince admitted it during one of those Torch Talks in when Vince gave them an extensive interview. It was one of those deals where Invasion was looking DOA and Vince called Eric like on a Wednesday to come in the following Monday. Eric had family commitments that prevented him from coming in at the time. So, why not have Vince thinking he has control of the NWO, only to have Eric come in and show who is really in control.
Sounds good to me.
