...and a Fashion Report, too.

A black SUV pulls up and out steps The Rock, in black leather vest and leatehr pants, with HUGe gold brahma-bull belt buckle, carrying a Diet Mountain Dew. He talkd to the cameraman.

Puppies, in black trenchcoat and black/silver sparkly pants, Ivory, in sparkly turquiose outfit with see-my-boobs hole, and Jackie, in red, vs. Jazz, in sparkly silver top and warrioress skirt, Victoria in black spider top and slick black pants, and Molly, in black getout with turquoise stripe, with Teddy Long, in black pinstriped suit. Okay match - pretty short, though.

It's another car. Goldberg, in black "Next" tshirt, brushes-pff Coach.

I'm all for trippy Skittles commercials, but playin' with the Sun's orbit is just not cool.

Okie, in black shirt and hat, and King, in purple/gold same-asways, talk. king so wants to get back to his porn. Meanwhile, Stacie and Test argue - she dumps him, but he reminds her that she works for him.

Hurricane, in mask and cape, gets punked-out by 95%, in black silk shirt. Thhhor, in grey sportscoat, black slacks, and red shirt (bad you, HHH) with the belt over his shoulder, and Whoo!, in black suit with blue hanky and tshirt. Flair gets on the stick. I doubt Flair bedded 3000 different women, like he claimed. Then HBK, in black tshirt with radiant whit ecross and blue jeans, replys that he is NOT a bitch, but he's got plenty of OTHER nicknames. H challenges Shawn. Diesel, in black "BD" tshirt saunters out. Now Hurricant has recovered and he's out with a chair (well, he DID have nearly 15 minutes) and the heels bail. Staredown ensues.

SPP, in Chainmail and RED "Freakzilla" tights, with Stacie, in red dress, vs. Stevie, in pink "SR" fullcuts. Test watches from the ramp, smiling and nodding. Poor match, but fortunately it was quick.

DeadCowMan, in black leather jacket and blue jeans, reinstates Trial By Combat and books a match at Bad Blood. Test vs. SPP, the winner gets Stacie.

Austin/Bischoff office skit. They book a match for tonight, then agree on a Redneck Triatlalon challenge at Bad Blood.

Goldberg tells Terri stuff. Meanwhile, Jericho trows paint on Goldberg's car. In an act that defies Wrestling Physics, Goldberg is able to drive away (to the car wash?).

The Highlight Reel, with special Guest Host Christian!, in vertical-striped sleeveless shirt and brown leather pants. Well, tonight it's "The Peeps' Show". Rock, in same as before, is out, posing at the corners. Ther eare NO chairs this week. Christian! says he's replaced The Rock, but The Rock, via rhyme, refutes that claim. Rock gets mobbed by the people. Then Jericho, in sparkly blue/red/cyan "Jericho"shirt and sparkly pants, chean shaven, is back, in uber-smarmy heel mode. Christian and Jericho beat-down Rocky, but Booker is out. People's Elbow on Jericho, the Booker does one on Christian! Then Rocky does a spinaroonie.

Okay, it's 9:08 and we've had, what, 6 minutes of matches?

Kane, in black/red straps 'n spandex, belt over shoulder, with Rob, vs. Renee, in black beret with gold trim, blue sparkly military coat, black tights with red/white/blue left thigh, and yellow kneepads. Okay match. But now KickWham Stunner, in black "Stunner Inc." tshirt with white radiant skull and jean shorts, sends Rob to the back, and chews-out Kane. He taunts Kane (what?), chides him (what?), pushes him to the brink (what?) and even steps on his toe. He wants the old, butt-kicking Kane - hell, the CROWD wants Kane to chokeslam AUSTIN! But, no. Finally, a KickWhamStunner.

HHH laughs at Officials' Door (wow - that door really gets around).

Booker, in blakc hot-crotch flamin' "BookerT" undies and Golddust, in black/gold latex (already in the ring) vs. Jericho, in purple "Jericho" tights and Christian, in different shade of purple tights with red shields, wearing the belt. What, an ad break? But we just HAD one! Nice match, except for that ad break. Post-match, a heel beatdown, but Goldberg comes out for the save, and spears the ref (a save?).

In the Room of Fun, all the refs refuse to officiate the Main Event at the PPV. Austin says he'll find someone.

95%, in black "Orton' undies, Flair, in gold and silver sparkly "Nature Boy" and black undies thereunder, and Thhhor, in purple Iron Cross undies, wearing the belt, vs. Adbreak! (what, is this whole last half-hour a commercial interspresed with show?) vs. Shawn, in cut-up black tshirt and red/silver broken-hearts tights, Hurricane, in same as before, and Diesel, in black "BD" tanktop with black "Nash" singlet thereunder, and black leather pants. Flair bleeds from the back of the head? Nash no-sells ALL! What the fuck kind of ending was that? An okay match. HHH takes a nasty powerbomb after the match. Orton/Hurricane could make a nice feud.

Overall: There wasn't much in-ring action tonight. But I can't really think of any segment to take time from, either. So I guess it was a pretty good show.

I guess Kane Push #526096 is off and running. Kudos to continuity for Austin bringing up Kane beating him for the title in 1998. Seeing as how Kane is a tag team champion, I don't know where Austin is coming from with this. Perhaps this is how they'll turn RVD heel (or try to, no doubt unsuccessfully) by claiming that his laid-back nature is a bad influence. Sloth is a sin, doncha know. I'm just mad that with this angle in full gear, it means La Resistance are going to win the tag belts ALREADY. Good lord.

The show overall was pretty average. Flair's interview was great, save for the bullshit bowing to Triple H. I got a kick out of Steiner ogling Stacy, and Charles Robinson took a MAN-SIZED bump off of Goldberg's spear. Holy crap, that looked painful.

Flair was gold on the mic but the rest of the show came off very flat to me. I didn't like Rock taking out Jericho and Christian when he's just doing a cameo.

Another Monday. I am back to 100% healthwise after last Monday. Only 3 more days until a long weekend in Milwaukee. Beer, ballgame, betting. That's right. Now, to get back on track, my opinion on Raw, segment by segment.

1) 6 diva tag match -> That's the way to start it off. Guess they were tired of deciding which two would meet, so...put them all in there. Good match to start.

2) Test/Stacy -> It had to happen.
Hurricane attacked by Orton for no reason led to boredom for me as Flair/HHH/Orton head towards the ring. JR yells something...Shut Up!!! The three almost put me to sleep until HBK arrives. Nash joins in, and like a magician, Hurricane comes in the other side, back at 100% like he never felt a thing. Some magic trick, 'Cane. Take the run through the concourse.

3) Steiner/Richards -> Richards + no entry music = loss...squash match. Bischoff only says one paragraph this time, not a long speech. Just to get the match going at the PPV.

4) Blassie Dies -> JR/King in their serious voices for this one. Thanks for the memories...watching him w/Iron Sheik & Volkoff back in the mid 1980's. Back to the lunacy as Bischoff/Austin talk about a triathlon. A redneck triathlon to be precise. OK. Goldberg/Jericho/car incident...Jericho is close to mastering the HHH style of heeldom. Probably step 2 of the 5 step process, I guess.

5) Highlight reel/Peep show w/Rock -> Rock was great as usual. Having his come out during his hiatus is a good thing. Cheers all around. Rockarooni was hilarious.

6) Kane/Dupree -> OK match, with a brutal ending. Austin gives pep talk to Kane, stuns him. I hate to say this, but having them lose to the green French guys at the PPV? Maybe by them we could see the Kane Heel Turn #252354, or maybe a complete makeover for once. Very long & confusing segment.

7) Did I just see a Gail Kim promo? Finally, a new diva to get into the mix. Bad Blood -> Another PPV, another song by some group I have never heard of and probably will never hear from again.

8) Outside the San Diego Sports Arena -> makes me jealous about the weather. Outside my home...dark, rainy, mid to upper 50's. Booker/Goldust vs Jericho/Christian -> Good match. Goldberg comes out and accidentally spears referee. What impact. Guess Jericho has made step 3 in the HHH mastery of heeldom.

9) Refs don't want to work in the cell on the PPV, so Austin will make a phone call...Foley, and this is before I got on the computer. 6 man tag match -> Of the 6 guys in the ring, four out of the six need a haircut, one just has a bad sprayed on color. Only Orton looks "normal hairwise." Speaking of Orton, now how long until he gets hurt again...hopefully longer than before. Here is a rarity...Flair is busted open, but for once it was not by blade. You just can't blade the back of the head. Very screwy ending and of course guess who had the impact shot. You guessed it, it is Mr. Big Nose himself with the pedigree. Jack knife to end, but too late.

A little on the boring side except seeing Rock brought it up. I'm still going to have my Smackdown opinions late Thursday night, then it is off to Milwaukee for a weekend.

Later.

I liked the opening Divas match, the Flair/Michaels verbal confrontation, and the Austin/Kane stuff, but that was about it. The rest was just boring, and the main event was the worst offender or all (that ending certainly didn't help).

Two stupid polls in one show? Is wwe.com really lacking in hits this badly?

I assumed that somewhere inside that purple head, one of those pulsating veins finally blew. Or maybe when you blade a whole lot, you can spontaneously juice from the BACK of the head!

I really enjoyed the divas match. I would have liked it a lot more in retrospect if I knew they would then be going over 1 hour when the only match is a Steiner/Richards match that screams "exclusively here on WCW Main Event".

I liked Flair's promo, except for the HHH blowjob during the promo. Michaels was good as well.

Rock's a face, now. Guess that means he won't turn for a while. Pretty good promo, though, espically the interplay with Christian.

The Austin/Kane promo was weird but fun.

Number of times Batista was mentioned- 0.

Looks like the return of Foley at Bad Blood.

Overall, a decent Raw.

Craptacular Raw! Flair was gold on the mic, and the Christian/Rock/Jericho segment started off good, but then dragged on too long. Everything else was pretty dreadful.

1 question - why is Chrisitan jobbing so much? He just won the belt, and already he's jobbed clean twice to Goldust & Booker. Goldust? For what reason? You'd think they'd want to build up Christian & the IC Title so it means something when Book wins it. Oh, yeah, it's the midcard - Vince couldn't give 2 craps about it.

the Austin Kane bit had me a little worried. Kane seemed very dimorilsed......just like jeff Hardy was before he quit. hopefully Kane isn't thinking of dropping out, because that would suck some serious ass.

my thoughts on the main event:
that pedigree that Hurricane took looked nasty. not just "i'll pedigree you, and pin you nasty" but "oops, i didn't mean to really drive you're face into the mat nasty".

i think that Hurricane was out of it for about 30 seconds, and was actually meant to kick out. because it looked like the Ref was covering for him. i mean come on. he got to 2, then checked his shoulder? then rnag the bell with no 3 count? he did his best to cover for him, but it was a situation he couldn't get out of, so he made a judgment call, and ended the match. what else could he have done?
i mean the matches are fake, but let's not turn the show into full blown soap opera.

He's a superhero, he can do that!

I dont think its Foley coming back for HITC, what about Tim White, the ref that got injured in the HHH Jericho HITC. He may be back by then. Did anyone else think of Mary Catherine Gallagher when Goldberg was doing his interview. It looked like he had his fingers under his armpits the whole time. Overall it was an OK show, but I wanted to see more wrestling.

I really like RAW last night, what I saw anyway (I was flipping between that and the Ducks game. Go Ducks!) I liked the Flair/Michaels exchange as well as the Austin/Kane "thing". The women's match was okay, but they desperatley need new blood (thank you, Gail Kim). The Steiner/Richards and Kane/Dupree matches were really nothing to write home about though.

"Your on crack !!!"

Has anyone ever kicked out immediately after a pedigree ???

And if not, I highly doubt they would start off with Hurricane being the first person to be able to do it.

Trying to focus on the positive here ( I need to these days)...

Ten GOOD Things About RAW:
1. The Rock didn't disappoint in his cameo appearance.
2. Jericho outsmarts Goldberg YET AGAIN, building for a decent little feud.
3. Hey, at least they didn't use Blassie's untimely passing as a chance to HAWK HIS BOOK!
4. Bischoff-Austin interaction kept to a minimum.
5. The reunited Evolution (minus the weak link, in my opinion) looking more and more look the Horsemen of old, circa the WTBS days. All you need now is the cardboard background and a moustached Tony Schiavone to make the transition complete.
6. Booker T gets legit rub from the Rock. He's looked and acted like a top star for a long time. This week, the WWE acknowledged it, for once.
7. Doing something with Kane = less time spent on the RVD-Kane storyline, presumably.
8. As usual, Christian is GOLD on the mic. The ``you've been replaced'' line was terrific.
9. Hell, even the Test-Steiner match is starting to look quasi-watchable. That's no small feat.
10.Nice buildup to Bad Blood, and probably all of the matches are listed already and have purpose. Considering they're only using half the WWE roster this time, way to (FINALLY) plan in advance. I really didn't think I'd want to watch a Raw-only PPV, but Michaels-Flair, Booker-Christian and Jericho-Goldberg have picqued my interest.

Just some thoughts after seeing Steiner out there. 1) Has anyone else noticed that he's dropped some mass? I think management may have had some words about his limited mobility. And 2) If Steiner's gimmick is that he's a huge muscled monster, why pair him with Stacy who's about 3 inches taller than him? It makes him look even shorter.

They are jobbing Christian so much, I'm beginning to think he's NOT losing the title to Booker T. Otherwise, I really don't see the point of putting the title on Christian just so he can job his way all the way to losing it. Could they possibly be trying to create Honky Tonk Man v.2?
