http://www.aint-it-cool-news.com/display.cgi?id=15333 Cartoon Network's adult swin block, which has been showing anime such as Lupin III, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop and Inu-Yash has topped rating for the 12-24 male demographics against all other programming (broadcast and cable) for its time slot. The Adult Swim programming is now beating Leno by 18%, Letterman by 82%, Conan by 26%, and the other competition by greater margins in that demographic
I think they should be hurting Leno more. Then again, your average Leno viewer may not be smart enough to tell the difference between Futurama and Reign....
You can never have too many Whedon related threads.
The 12-24 bracket isn't exactly Leno's target market anyway. Heck, I doubt he gets a lot in the 25-35 bracket either... still, it's great to see Adult Swim doing well.

True, but the younger demo tends to be more reckless in it's spending than the older ones. The older you get, the more you plan for the future and save.
You probably wouldn't want to waste car adds, large appliance adds, or anything failr expensive on a target demo of 18-24 year olds, but fast food chains, toy makers, video game companies, and movies studios will pay out their nose to reach us.
I've got a metal plated spine, and my bitches all in line.
Maybe Leno will counter by resigning to let someone funnier than him host his show. I'm not saying Jim Belushi is actually funnier than someone... wait he IS funnier than Leno.
Congrats Jim.

Here's some news regarding Adult Swim shows on DVD from tvshowsondvd.com.
Futurama Season 2 is slated for an August 12 release.
Family Guy Volume 2 is slated for a September 9 release. Among some of the extras included are, more episodes featuring commentary, and for the first time anywhere, the "lost" episode , "When you wish upon a Weinstein."
But the best thing in is that article, is that they hinted at a Family Guy DTV (Direct to Video) MOVIE. If that's true, that could be the greatest DTV movie ever.

I recently created a scenario for Extreme Warfare Revenge, and posted about it on one of their message boards. It's been very well received, so I thought I might post a description here, along with a link to the site that's hosting it.
