A couple of things caught my attention during the show.
-Molly Holly with black hair? I didn't even recognize her there for a minute.
-Jazz getting pinned by Jaqueline. Ummm...why?
-Hurricane vs. Nowinski. I marked out for the entire matched. Man, these guys can light it up! Hurricane looks like he's having fun, and the pre match promo Chris gave at the end of the match was funny. The roll up ending certainly promises hopefully a rematch down the road.
Just with Velocity, too much emphasis was put on the Monday show, but even the Goldust/Jobber match had some good moments.
The announcers were decent...The Coach and Al Snow had a good chemistry...but they're no Cole and Tazz...
Was Molly's hair actually black? Just seemed like a darker shade of brown which looks good on her. Though on the other hand her wardrobe still could use work. During the match I thought to myself how weird it was that at one time Molly was a blonde.
Was it bad that at first I thought Ivory was Victoria since I missed the beggining of the match?
Next ppv is in Texas, anyone want to wager who Jazz will be facing?
Hurricane vs. Nowinski just reminded me how outside of 5 or 6 wrestlers, no one seems to have any angles or storylines. Whatever happened to Nowinski and Dreamer's fued? That was fun.
I think both Heat and Velocity are hurt by the fact that they're taped before Raw. Match lengths seem to always be rather short and at least to me it seems that if someone wrestles on Raw there's pretty much no chance they'll wrestle on Heat. If Heat is going be a fluff show, they should have at least QUALITY fluff.
Hate to break this to you Stamps fan but the women tag match went long enough that they took a commercial break in the middle of it, all in all it seemed like a 10 minute match. Very entertaining match with Molly, Ivory and Jazz being very impressive... Once again Jackie didn't impress me, one thing really hit me was when Ivory was struggling and battling to tag Jackie, Jackie gave no emotion of wanting to get in, If it was the other way around you know Ivory would be screaming support for a tag, or Trish would be clapping and yelling & stretching for her partner to tag her but Jackie stood there emotionless with her hand extended. It just bothered me.
It is a Texas PPV, it slipped my mind. There going to book for the house and not for the PPV audience, that's strange, But I could see Jackie vs. Jazz for the title being on the card.
Seeing that they are going to fill the Raw only card with 8 matches. I wouldn't be surprised if there's also a intergender tag match also on the card. Probably with Victoria & Stevie vs. Trish and ummm Tommy Dreamer?... Tommy was by her side in her Philly hardcore match with Victoria, this could be good. It did bring a nostalgic smile to my face hearing Stevie yell "I hate you Tommy!"
Back to Heat, it was a good show. The women match was good and I liked the Hurricane vs. Nowinski match as well. And Cole and Snow seem to be having a lot of fun with the broadcast.
cause there's limits to our liberties. 'Least I hope and pray that there are, cause those liberal freaks go too far.
I'll crush all opposition to me And I'll make Ted Kennedy pay If he fights back, I'll say that he's gay
Shhhh, quiet you! Or else you might piss the WWE enough that they bring back the all-time "Who's turn is it for a women's title shot?" match, with Jazz defending against Terri Runnels.

Rofl..funny, Asteroidboy I seriously wonder which wrestling fan would buy it. It's a body builder's poster. If I wanted to get in shape I would stare at, working to look like that..
