I bought a Game Boy Advance SP this week, and returned it the next day. It's a decent, and powerful system, but it's way too small for my hands. I have big hands (standing at 6'2", of course), and the way the buttons are placed, the placement of the d-pad and the size of the buttons...it was really, really hard to do anything with the game I bought along with it, Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance.
I like the idea of a rechargeable battery, and the backlit screen was perfect in complete darkness. However, I think I'll stick to my original Game Boy Advance and purchase the at home lighting kit instead.
Any other comments on this almost perfect system?

I wanted one until I realized don't really play my GBA anymore. Plus there's the PSP coming down the pipe.
I have one of those flip lights for my GBA and it pisses me off. Not only do you have to hold the thing at an angle so you don't see just a reflection of the light bulb, over time the thing keeps flopping down mid game, especially if you don't constantly hold it at the perfect angle. I have the thing jury-rigged with tape.
Personally I would have paid more for the GBA if it were back lit originally. I think that's a must for portables.
The button set up of the SP doesn't bother me. I have fat fingers and all but I'm only 5'10". I'll pop for it if the PSP doesn't offer any cool PS2 features or those great, old school RPGs like Golden Sun.
There is a plastic attatchment (for like $10) that you can buy to make the thing fit for large hands. I as well have rather long fingers and I found that with the attatchment, the GBA SP fit perfectly.
