From ESPN.com/AP WESTWEGO, La. -- Former NBA coaches Mike Fratello, Tim Floyd and Brian Hill are the New Orleans Hornets' top choices to replace Paul Silas.
Vice president of basketball operations Bob Bass named those three as candidates Wednesday. The Hornets want someone who has been a head coach in the league, and Bass said they have not ruled out adding more candidates to their list.
Are the Hornets trying to fail? They fire Paul Silas, who does one hell of a job in keeping that circus together, and THIS is the best they can do? They'd have been better off with Silas certainly, and would probably be better off higher an assistant or college coach rather than bring back these retreads. At least Hill went to the Finals, but even that took Shaq and Penny in tandem.
Looks like the Hornets decline may start now; hell, I'll wait for them to wind up with Doug Collins once he gets the ax with the Wiz.

We tried that one in Charlotte too. Man, Shinn sure does amuse me now that he's not Carolina's problem.

Roxanne from The Real Cancun on being famous: "I'd rather be known for [dancing topless with my twin sister] instead of being smart or something. There's a million people who are smart. There's only 16 of us who were in Cancun together."
So does that make Jeff Van Gundy the smartest man in the world for getting out of NY before the ship sank and not wanting any part of the Shinn circus in New Orleans?

Man, I truly feel sorry for you guys down in New Orleans. And I know you guys will be gnashing your teeth if Paul Silas ends up in Clipper-town, where there's no such thing as "shitty management".
Oh wait...
Ok, so maybe all the other guys haven't worked, but will THIS be the man to save WWE???
Not to defend the headline writer, who deserves to be canned, but it's interesting that years ago when Lin had that blog where he mimicked the headband style of NBA players the name was "chinkballer88.
