Ok ladies, post your RAW thoughts here. I would offer my more perverse thoughts here about the guys like I usually do, but the truth is, I got nothing. Nada. As far as La Resistance goes, I blink, what do I get? Nothing, which is exactly what you'd get if you try to make a list of reasons why I care about the PPV coming up. What can I say? I'm jonesin' for more puro! Off we go!
Ringmistress, you may have tired of our boy, but I haven't. Pulling Flair off of Hurricane, then doing a "woooo" & the DX point at Flair. I thought it was fun.
Overall there just seemed to be a lot of things that were just off. Christian's opening segment was good, but the crowd didn't really seem to be into him. LOD/RVD was terrible, with all the standing around waiting to get hit & fakey punches. (Kane did a lot to try to help the match along, but there's only so much one Kane can do.) JR talking about an upcoming match: "When the 7 foot, 300 pound...", while they show a picture of Chris Jericho -- usually they get those things coordinated correctly. Austin & Goldberg in each other's faces (Austinberg staring into a mirror) was just weird; if I was supposed to get something out of it, I missed it. How many different in-ring beer breaks were there, anyway? (The beer-toss guy is going to need a relief pitcher at this rate. Aar-aar.) The cage is down, the cage is up, the cage is down -- it's a damn good thing the pulleys didn't go the way of Goldberg's doorknob. The technical aspect of Christian/Goldberg was OK, but there were about 4 different cage-match-related things that were just dumb. We were looking at a lot of Goldberg after Christian speared himself into the cage -- felt like there was some sort of problem they were covering for. Lotta weirdnesses.
I continue to love Stevie with Victoria. When they'd finished "haunting" Trish in the makeup area, & Victoria reached over & dragged Stevie off by the hair -- loved it. ;-)
I want to know whether they tell the limo companies in advance that they're going to destroy the cars, or whether they just take out the full insurance coverage, & return them all banged up.
"Don't call me 'playa'." "My bad."
What did Freddie say that got bleeped??? It started, "The way you stutter, you ..."
I do appreciate that Goldberg does seem to be very conscientious about taking good care of the guys that he has up in the air. That's a good thing.
Hurricane & Flair brawling over Lawler was fun -- not sure whether Lawler was expecting that or not. And given the choice, I'd rather see Flair's ass than Vince's. Although next time, I expect Ric Flair to be wearing purple underwear.
Sign of the night: "Real men don't wear berets." Nor do they wear pants with big yellow stripes up the sides. (Much too heavy-handed a reference.) I still haven't figured out exactly how Golddust ended up in with Test & Steiner, especially after his "condition" ratted out Test. No sign of his "condition" tonight -- he must be getting better.
Trish & Victoria were very good. I especially liked Victoria snatching the kendo stick away from Tommy, as he was celebrating getting to whack Stevie.
Jericho is soooo much cuter without the fungus -- I'm still getting accustomed to the improvement. He did some very nice work -- he can be really good when he's into it, & working the leg was a nice strategy.
As I said, just some stuff that made things feel kinda "off".

That's just creepy. I could have slept better knowing I hadn't seen Flair's ass. But whatever. Purple. Emma, we need to talk about this purple thing... :-)
I think Freddie said "piece of shit". At some point.
I liked the show. No Hunter wrestling, but coming out and beating the crap out of someone who's already down always brings a smile to my face. Even if it was Hurricane...
I don't dig Teddy Long. I know the White Boy thing is supposed to be funny ha ha, but I don't see it. Actually, I think it makes him look like an ass. If you want to make your playa be taken seriously, what does beating up local wrestler prove? Teddy Long must be a bad manager and I don't know why Mack doesn't stop and think to himself...now...why can't I wrestle the likes of ::insert not random wrestler here::. You know? Eh, maybe he just likes not being nervous before each match. I dunno. Austinberg (that boy's satire rocks) made Long pretty funny, "don't call me playa". Later I found out The Man was holding Steve down, too. I didn't know that...
I hate to admit this almost, Test is fun to look at. He has a bang up body! Okay, so maybe you'd need to have a few beers or at least dim the lights to get through the night but body...the body is where it's at. Then again, I am partial to 'big and dumb'. *hoping Boytoy definitely does not read this*
I dunno. I liked it. But I was really in need of some non-thinking involved entertainment so I might have been swayed.
Perhaps some hard liquor for a night with Test, now that I think about it a little longer...or blindfold...

OOOOHHHH NO, Emma! I haven't tired of him at all. I don't know why you put words in my mouth about that, but HELL no, I haven't tired of him. I'm tired of Nash, that big ugly snail attatched to Hunter. But don't you EVER think you can have HHH all to yourself, because that will NOT happen.
Ringmistress
P.S. Major stress. Not taking it out on you. Personal family stuff. Tomboy, your Test philosophy is too funny, yet all to accurate!

Thank you, I would also like to add in a gag because he would have to remain quiet. Of course, if you would all just follow me down to the gutter for a moment, you could always just keep his mouth busy. *evil grin*
I would like to enter myself into the Ringmistress v. Emma fight over Hunter-keeps. Perhaps a Fatal Threeway? LOL
Ringmistress, have a beer, love. Through detailed personal studies I have found that Happiness does indeed lie at the bottom of many bottles. :-)

Hey, you can't blame a girl for trying! ;-) And wouldn't he just suavely tell us all that there's plenty of him to go around?

I'm partial to 'big & smart' -- Test is a reasonable candidate based on half of those criteria! Just seems like the quantity of alcohol & leather accessories would make the whole enterprise way too much trouble. ;-> (How is Boytoy, by the way?)
I don't really like most of the Teddy Long stuff either, but you've got to like anybody who gets away with calling Jazz "boo" & "baby girl". :-)
I'm sorry I missed it! Thanks for the review, Emma. This week I had to remember what made me like Hunter after what I saw on RAW, that just reminded me. The charm, the CHARM! Ringmistress
