Well given that Canucks just lost to The Wild, what are your thoughts on the third round?

I'm going with Ducks and Ottawa in the finals, and Ottawa to take it.

Your thoughts?

NHL: The East are the beasts.
NBA: The West are the best.

Whomever wins the Prince of Wales Conference will win the cup. And who will that be? Let's just say I'm booking time off work for the parade in advance.

Sens over New Jersey in six.
Ducks over Wild in seven.

Ducks in six, Debbies in seven.

For the Cup finals...heh..I am not going to predict anything yet. But last March I touched the Stanley Cup in Toronto while wearing my Kariya Ducks jersey. and now they are in the conference finals, with a good chance to go through..Coincidence? We'll see in about a month..
- And let's ignore the fact that a friend of mine did the same while wearing a NYRangers jersey!!!-

Sens and Ducks, both in 6. Actually, I think Ottawa's so good right now, that they'll win the series between Anaheim and Minnesota as well...

Ottawa sweeps Minnesota in 4 straight

This is simply a reminder of the fantastic hypocrisy of many in Hollywood. They conflate robust criticism with censorship; they equate popular boycotts with government blacklists; they claim to be persecuted, while actually they have an amazing capacity to reach audiences other political activists can only dream of. And yet, when the slightest criticism directly affects them, they do all they can to shut dissent down. Instructive, isn't it? Industry honchoes who wouldn't have jobs without the right to free expression are only too eager to squash it when that speech dares to criticize them- Andrew Sullivan

I wouldn't bet my house on it, but I'll be the oddball and say Wild in seven. Seems to be a trend.

Ottawa in six. My rooting interest in the playoffs is now Whoever Plays The Devils, so go Sens go.

I would just like to state that any ABC sports execs who are in charge of this hockey thing should just be fired. We had a historic game 7 last night, and did I see it, or the playoffs promoted anywhere? No. There weren't even any real commercials on ESPN. The NHL isn't going to reach anybody who isn't already devoted to the sport simply because they don't get any ads on TV.

Vancouver sucks. That is all.

Ottawa in 7. Ducks in 7. I don't want to see Minnesota win the Cup and I REALLY don't want to see NJ win again.

Wild wins the conference finals and cup in 7 after falling behind 3-1. You heard it here first.

Ducks over Wild in 6 (though I'd be happy no matter who won this one).

As for Ottawa vs. Jersey...hell that's too damn close to call. I'm guessing it goes to Game 7, though.

The winner in the East beats the Ducks in 6. That's right, it's going to go to 6.

Just noticed the start times for Game 1 tomorrow...

ABC originally had the Ottawa-NJ game at 1pm Mountain, but have switched off and will show Anaheim-Minnesota instead.

Sens-Devils goes at 5pm Mountain on CBC and ESPN2.

I don't want Minnesota to win simply because I'm a Leafs fan. Wild fans can wait 32 years like me.

Man did the Canucks flamed out as badly as anyone in recent history.

I'll Say New Jersey over Ottawa in 6... I'm totally at a lost for the West division, Ducks vs. Wild?!, I'll go with Ducks in 6 as well.

Wow. The Wild played awesome tonight... right up until the second overtime. Don't know what happened there, but they just weren't moving as fast. If the Wild keep it up they could definately win this series - provided that Giguere becomes human again. I was yelling at my tv in frustration at the amount of good shots he stopped. I miss Cloutier

It seems that both votes from citizens of Toronto, picked Ottawa to lose.

If you look that the round two thread you will see the same trend.

Could Toronto fans really hate the Sens that much???????
