I've suddenly found that my roomate and I are extremely addicted to this network. I didn't even know it existed until a few months ago when I was channel surfing. Now, if there's nothing on TV, the TV always finds its wya over there.

Sure the shows (and the tips) are kind of lame...But that seems to add to the charm of the channel.

Favorite Shows:

Call for Help (it's always some 12 year old wondering how he can backup his harddrive onto CDs...I wish I had a computer when I was 12...Actually, I did, but it ran off DOS Shell)
Screen Savers (I LOVE this show. Yet, I'm not quite sure why that is...)
Extended Play (They usually feature at least one game that I've thought about buying)

Anyone else on the boards watch the network?

NOTE: My last thread caused me the Blue Screen O' Death, and didn't post properly, so I just deleted it, but I know that the title will be sticking around. Sorry.

I'll occasionally check to see what's on there, but normally the only show I'll make an effort to watch is Extended Play.

The hosts are complete fucking morons, and are some of the most annoying "personalities" on TV, I disagree with probably half of their reviews, I hate hate HATE those damned "strategy guides" that waste a good 5 minutes of show, or more, and are totally pointless. But yet, I still watch it all the time cause it's the only show on TV dedicated to video games. *sigh* I'm such a fucking tool.

they have had some pretty good shows about music on lately. We had it for a while when it first came out, Charter dropped it but put it back on about 3 months ago. Every now and then there is something on that I'll stop to watch while surfing.

I watch Screen Savers every now and then. Its somewhat addictive. Not as addictive os Trading Spaces on TLC though. Now that shows addictive. I watch the whole freaking hour just to see if the homeowners will hate their new room. One time this lady cried she hated it so bad. It rocked and made me want to ruin someone's house too.

If I lived back in the wild west days, instead of carrying a six-gun in my holster, I'd carry a soldering iron. That way, if some smart-aleck cowboy said something like "Hey, look. He's carrying a soldering iron!" and started laughing, and everybody else started laughing, I could just say, "That's right, it's a soldering iron. The soldering iron of justice." Then everybody would get real quiet and ashamed, because they had made fun of the soldering iron of justice, and I could probably hit them up for a free drink.

I too watch frequently The Screen Savers, i like when the two regulars (Leo and Patrick) are on the best. The guy with the beard (Martin) can be good sometimes, very annoying the rest of the time. The download girl...Megan, she a cutie in a geeky sort of way...but all in all, the program gives very good tips in general, especially for new pc/mac users, and that is always good.

Dabbling on what Ffej said, my mom watches that show religiously and got me addicted to it, but we found the original british show on the BBC America channel called Changing Rooms, much better than trading places since they really let it have it to everybody on the show...one time when revealing the room the owner said and i quote "What a piece of turd"...great tv! If you have this channel i highly reccomend it, plus they have lots of other cool, quirky shows all the time.

::Edited: Went to the screen savers site to get the names...

You needed to go to the site to get the names? Oh! As a Tech TV fan, I'm offended.

Leo and Patrick are definately good, Leo seems to actually know his stuff half the time. It's always disconserting when Patrick shows up in a dress though...

Megan is pretty cute, she seems to be the only girl that really knows what she's talking about, the other two (Morgan and Cat) are just filler.

I personally always thought that Martin was really good as comic relief, but not so good when he needed to actually explain stuff.

This is why people get paid fairly well to be editors. One should never edit ones own work. You read or see things the way you think they should be or you want them to be. Don't sweat it.
