Yeah, because watching Molly Holly NOT wrestle is so exciting.
I'm not sure why we should want WWE to pay somebody that they are clearly not using. Now had I seen all the threads complaining about Molly not being in the ring, maybe this would all make more sense. But it didn't seem that anybody cared until they let her go (or they might have let her go, to be correct).
Right now, I think it's pretty clear that they are never going to run more than one program at a time for the women. As such, they do have an inflated roster (especially considering that one slot of that program always seems to be occupied by Trish Stratus).
If I were Ivory or Jaqueline, I wouldn't be feeling too good about my resigning possibilities either.
Oh, and Molly Holly was not over, not anymore anyway, regardless of what the news column said.

I know this'll probably just be looked at as "one of those posts", but truthfully, neither is Triple H, and they keep him on tv *way* too much.
This company is starting to look like 1983-roided-up-talentless-WWF all over again. Shit, if you put 100 pounds on Albert and taught him to dance, you'd have Akeem!

(FYI - Bill Foster was Michael Douglas's character from "Falling Down".)
She's advertised, but i'm still skeptical since we still haven't heard any word about it. Why would WWE wait so long? ...unless they're waiting till after Heat or something. Could it be possible that the WWE is just letting some of their lower card talent take indy bookings? Wasn't there a news report on this not too long ago? I remember also reading something before we saw Crash become a Moore-on that they were letting him take jobs as a doorman and bouncer (I just can't picture that) to make extra money while he wasn't being used on tv. This might be something similar.
First off it's hard take a report that's written like THAT seriously, let's wait for a report that comes out that sounds a bit more professional... But this is pretty similar to how D'lo release story came out, D'lo wrestled on Monday, mid-week his termination leaked out and on Heat they did a Mack attacking D'lo in the parking lot with Teddy Long saying D'lo failed him. Hell I still don't remember seeing an offical WWE.com report on his release
The last we saw of Molly was at Backlash this past Sunday in the women locker room trying to break up Stacy and Torrie's cat fight... By the way, Molly is scheduled to wrestle Ivory this week on Heat with Jackie as referee.
Letting Molly go just doesn't add up, sure she doesn't sell a ton of merch or is the most over girl right now. But she's 25 years old and is already the most competent women worker in the Fed. She's done a very good matches with Torrie for gawd sake. She's like the perfect girl when you want someone to debut to be in the ring with because she can carry anyone and get their confidence up... Plus she and Trish took a real crap angle like the BigAss angle and actually made it decent and made it kind work for 3 or 4 months. I remember when they were teasing Molly face turn when Trish was gone for a months selling Jazz's attack and people here had great suggestions on what to do with Molly. I still think if you pushed Trish and Molly in an odd couple friendship type of angle, Molly would have gotten over as a face again. Bottom line Molly is just too talented to release her.
You let Molly go but keep Jackie? Jackie's pushing 40 and recently her in-ring work has not been up to par. I understand Vince is loyal to some of his long term employees. But keeping Jackie as an onscreen character who hasn't been over as a heel or a face in years and let go someone with as much upside as Molly can, makes me scratch my head... Don't let me get even started on signing Sable to what she says is a long term contract!

Although didn't Jerry the King Lawler sometimes show up in other promotions when he was still employed by WWE, or was that only in the few months when he was fired? Or maybe it was a special Nashville promotion, or something.
Molly rules!! Go Molly. You can still hang in there!!!
best, socetew
WWE wrestlers are allowed to take 3rd party bookings (Except for TNA) if it's on a night they're not doing any work for the WWE. Lawler only works Mondays, so he has the most free time.
As the days go by, we face the increasing inevitability that we are alone in a godless, uninhabited, hostile and meaningless universe. Still, you've got to laugh, haven't you?
"but truthfully, neither is Triple H, and they keep him on tv *way* too much."
Okay, let's make our minds up here, because this HHH thing goes two ways. Either he's kept over by constantly squashing any new talent, or he's not over in the slightest. he can't both. And seeing as he gets roars of excitement from the crowds whenever he enters, I'd say it's highly unlikely to be the latter.
Isn't it about time to start regarding these "X got released" threads wtih a bagful of salt? I could swear that a few weeks ago I saw a thread claiming that Crash Holly and one or the other of 3MW had been released, and both of 'em are still on my TV, Crash as a new MF and 3MW just sucking in their usual way.
I'll believe Molly was released when the WWE announces it and/or takes her name off the Raw "Superstars" page. Until then, just wait and see.

Remember, the Crash/3MW Thread was started on April 1st.
I hate Swamprats. Payback for the Celts against the team led by a wifebeater/child abuser (he did break his kids collarbone in public). And 12 wins until Banner #17.
"To clear up a rumor going around yesterday, Nora Greenwald (Molly Holly) has not been released by WWE. She is headed to OVW shortly to work with the women wrestlers there."
That means she's probably going to work with Linda and Jackie since they're still with OVW.
Hope that works out fine.
"Hey, Brian, there's a message in my Alphabits! It says, 'Oooooo!'" Peter Griffin "Peter, those are Cheerios." Brian
Well I guess Bobby Barnett was wrong. But why send her to OVW? Why cause she can wrestle? God forbid that. Lets put Torrie who can't wrestle in more wrestling matches cause she "looks" good.

Phew! Thank you Meltz, and I take back any criticism I made or thought about you with your shirt off.
BTW, I can attest to Lawler working indy dates. I saw him face Terry Funk at the Electric Factory in Philly last night for 3PW (great match, in case you were wondering).
The Hurricane main eventing a Raw show? See, the WWE is listening to the 'Net. Well, they're listening to me anyways. Look for the next push to go to Molly.
Originally posted by y4j1981 But why send her to OVW? Why cause she can wrestle?
Yes, because she can wrestle very well, and can help the new kids along. Since they aren't using her on TV anyway, that seems like a great role for her until they decide to use her on TV again.

I heard she wasnt released but sent to OVW. The women there need training and "who better then KANYON !"...oh sorry. I mean Molly. I wouldnt worry abotu Molly being let go shes been around for a while now and she can obviously wrestle. I woudl send her to my training facility as well to train new women wrestlers.
I'm waiting for Kanyon to come back though. I heard Jackie Gayda will be his valet.
TONIGHT: Raw was taped earlier today from jolly ol’ London, England. As expected, WWE.com has announced that the John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar match at Extreme Rules is now no-DQ, no count-out.
