According to PW Torch

Cobb County Police in Georgia are investigating the death of a woman who spent last night in the home of Lex Luger, according to News Radio 640 WGST. According to the story posted on the station's website, police responded to a call placed from the home at 5:30 a.m. regarding a sick woman. The unidentified female was transported to a nearby hospital where she later died. There is no word on the name of the woman who died or the cause of death. Police have not pressed any charges as of yet, but did say that they responded to a domestic disturbance at Luger's home on Easter Sunday.

Okay, I read a rumor that Elizabeth is the woman in question. While we don't yet know who the woman is, it should be mentioned that Miss Elizabeth is married to a wealthy businessman and I believe they live in Florida.

More than likely, the woman is Luger's girlfriend. I don't know why anyone would even think it is Elizabeth, and since none of us were there, it would be very low for anybody to suggest she's dead.

This has the potential of turning into one of those "Viscera is dead" threads, if people go that route.

Because, during WCW's last days, Elizabeath was Luger's manaher. And, according to reports, they were dating at that time.

That's crazy. If Vince was interested in Luger to begin with, would he still bring him back with this information coming to light? I can understand the exception for Austin when he beat Debra, but he isn't linked to any deaths. Even if Luger is found to be responsible for her death, can he be blackballed from wrestling?
Then again, New Jack has something like 4 justifiable homicides to his record, and I thought Jimmy Snuka had a murder case also. I think that coroner needs to check for abnormal levels of Icopro in the body.

Local news is reporting the deceased as a 'female pro wrestler', which Elizabeth wasn't, but mainstream news hardly makes distinctions as 'manager' and 'wrestler'... from people I talk to, the best anyone knows is that Luger and Elizabeth were still an item. I'd say "I hope that isn't true" but someone's dead and it's horrible whether it's Liz or someone else...

Damn...

"Multiple sources have confirmed to 1Wrestling.com that the female involved in the incident at Lex Luger's home this morning was his longtime companion "Miss Elizabeth".
Sources tell 1Wrestling.com that authorities responded early this morning to a 911 call placed by Luger (real name Larry Pfohl)and that Elizabeth (real name Elizabeth Hulette) was rushed to a local Cobb County hospital where she passed away.

Sources say Luger was taken into custody this morning, but it is not know whether any charges have been lodged against him at this time.

Local media in Atlanta is reporting that police responded to a domestic disturbance on Easter at Luger's residence. There is no indication at this time that the incident this morning involved violence."

I think Luger has much more to worry about right now than gaining employment to the WWE.

According to whose reports? That was a rumor, just like how "reports" say that Matt Hardy and Lita are dating. Luger and Liz did date at one time, but she left the business before WCW's last days because she was getting married to a wealthy guy (who I believe was from Florida, but I may be wrong). Either way, she left the business and wasn't dating Luger at the time she left. Like I said, she is married.

Internet reporters are wrong more often than they are right, and I'll wait until the police issue a statement saying that the woman is Liz before I believe any internet reporter's thoughts on it - especially since no internet reporter was at Luger's house when the woman was taken away.

Here's the latest from the observer:

http://www.liveaudiowrestling.com/wo/news/headlines/default.asp?aID=7279

Police have ruled out foul play in the death earlier today of Elizabeth Heulette, 42, who was one of pro wrestling's biggest stars of the 80s.

Boyfriend Larry Pfohl (Lex Luger) was brought in for questioning since the death took place in his condo. He was released earlier today. A cause of death won't likely be determined until the results of toxicology reports, which won't be available for about 30 days.

Guess what. Both are facts. Luger and Liz have been together for years. The same is true with Matt & Lita.

Well, this is quite unexpected, and quite awful. Miss Elizabeth and Randy Savage are what got me hooked on wrestling in '88. The love triangle with Hogan was the first angle in wrestling that really captured my imagination as a kid. The First Lady of Professional Wrestling will be sorely missed. RIP.

She married attorney Carl Lubetsky in 1997 but divorced him and began seeing Lex Luger, which led to her role as his valet. Luger and Liz had a falling out with Russo in 2000 and both were off TV for awhile. Liz got released from her contract while Luger returned for the final months of WCW.

And Matt Hardy admits in his book to seeing Lita since he met her, shortly before she was in ECW. Even though they publicly denied these "reports".

Yes, they DID date but they aren't currently dating. I've never read either one deny that they've dated in the past. In fact, when they started their on-air "relationship" on RAW, they weren't dating at the time. I recall reading about it on WWE.com, because I remember thinking that it was wierd for the company to post a backstage interview where Matt was admitting that the on-air material was just acting.

Read carefully next time, before you put words in my mouth.

With the police's alleged statement that the woman was in fact Liz, that is saddening.

RIP Ms. Elizabeth

I've read Matt's book. They've been dating since 1999, they just tried to keep it hush hush as long as possible so he wouldn't get ribbed by the boys. They're still dating, they never stopped dating. Ever consider what you read on WWE.com is not always the truth?

Infact, there was a story not too long ago about them building or buying a house together.

My first ever "stand up and cheer mark out" moment occurred on the SNME where the Honky Tonk Man was defending his title against the Macho Man. When Elizabeth brought Hogan in to help Savage, I cheered with all I had! It was tough getting to sleep after that...

Holleeee shit. That was some main event. Generally, I think going over four segments is a mistake. I like when a match spreads across one commercial break but with four, you're really testing the attention span of the audience.
