Seemed to me that the crowd was actually getting into the White Boy Challenge on RAW when the "white boy" started fighting back. I say, have no more than two more weeks of a white boy squash and each week, the white boy gets a little more offense in the match. The third week, a new "white boy" is in the match and takes Rodney to the limit, and the guy lasts 5 minutes without being pinned, but doesn't actually win the match. Rodney beats the hell out of him after the bell and leaves him laying. Next week, he challenges the same guy, but Rodney actually loses this time. This makes a new "star" and creates an instant feud to last a few more weeks. From there, who the hell knows.
Isnt this angle just ripping off what NWATNA did with Killings?
With Mack struggling in the ring and Long gold on the mike, my guess is theyll add another african-american to the stable. Problem is there arent a lot of choices. Benjamin wouldve been a good fit, but he aint available.

The difference is that Killings had EVERYTHING going for him with that angle. Not only did he have the natural charisma to pull it off, but look where he was. OF COURSE he was going to draw tremendous heel heat in front of the hillbillies in Hicksville, USA (no offense to those Wieners from Nashville) with that angle. Plus, Killings had his bad experiences in the WWF to backup his argument of getting held down, which served a double purpose of getting the angle over and the fans to buy him as a main eventer (it had fans saying, "Wow, maybe he WAS held back if he can hang in the main event").
This angle is failing in WWE because nobody across the country at large gives two shits about this angle. Not to mention that nobody knows or cares who the hell Rodney Mack is. Theodore Long can't bring life to something that's already dead.
You know it won't be long now. May God help us all!
I think this angle would have worked better if they had gone with D-Lo. He had actually been with the company for a while and could have claimed he was being held down. Rodney Mack the new guy is suddenly being held down? They could have even mentioned the match where Droz was injured, saying after that the WWE was afraid to let D-Lo into the ring. Or that he was too fat and even after he lost weight he was not allowed on tv.

No it's not a racist crack, and you took that quote out of context, genius. I'm sorry if I don't proofread my posts to see if some PC jackass is going to twist my words. Rodney Mack is a black hole of awful wrestling, not Teddy Long. Long doesn't wrestle, he just plays a stereotype and occasionally throws his shoe.
And, honestly, I could give a fuck what the law says. Rodney Mack has no African facial structure, and I know a lot of Italian guys with darker skin than he has. He is not black. Putting him in an angle like this is insane. I was watching Raw with a buddy of mine on Monday, and he cracked up when I told him Mack was supposed to be black. It may be that he's 1/16th black, but he looks like a tan white boy to anyone who is just watching the show and not quibbling over laws and semantics.

I'm so tired of seeing "who raised the briefcase" because it was OBVIOUSLY Big Boss Man. Come on.

Dude looks black to me, and I could care less about the law and semantics. Of course, I don't know what the hell "African facial structure" is suppose to be. Maybe you could send the color chips that you are using so that I can hold them up to the screen and determine who is black and who is not.
I also don't get the hatred for the guy, "asshole", "idiot"? What the heck did the guy do to you? The man is just trying to earn a living. I'm not saying you have to like the guy, or the angle. But that seems to be a little much (and a little personal) for a guy that you don't even know.

Given the WWE's history of continuity and common sense where both this angle and Rodney Mack are concerned my money on Mark Henry returning as a white supremist and jumping to Raw to rid Monday nights of the scourge of the Mack. Both men will then be jumped in a parking lot by Justin Credible and/or Raven, then disappear, never to be seen on our screens again.

Thank you. I was reading through and getting ready to say the same exact thing. People need to tone down both their personal ire towards wrestlers as well as their disdain for others opinions.
Now, I'm not saying 'don't speak your mind', just run your thoughts through your head before you do. On a message board that should be easy to do.
I don't understand all the hate for the Mack either. I think he's got good intensity, good power, and a good look. Aside from when he almost dropped Al Snow on his head, he's been entertaining. I don't mind him on my screen in the least!

Maybe he does look black to you, but I'd say you're high. As for "African facial structure": Did you ever notice how black people have differently shaped faces than white people? Specifically characterised by a thicker nose and lips and a rounder brow? It's not racist, it's totally fucking obvious to even a small child that black people look different than white people, and not just in the color of their skin. If you painted a black guy, a white guy and an asian guy green, you would still be able to tell who was what denomination, because each has specific facial features peculiar to their descent. If you painted Rodney Mack green, I would bet cash that nine out of ten people would peg him as of anglo-european descent. They would even if he wasn't painted.
And I don't have anything against him personally. If he wasn't stinking up my television screen every week, I could care less. Since he shows off his poor wrestling "skill" where I would rather see someone with a little talent, I will bitch about him. I will bitch about him until he goes away, which probably won't be long, judging from the dead silence that greeted his entrance on Monday.

There's also the rumoured Foley/Ziggler and Rhodes/Goldust matches, though I'm not sure I see WWE booking two 'new heel vs. legend' matches on the same show.
