He's toast...there is no other way around it. It's going to be hell finding an unbiased jury anywhere in Cali...and once the facts comes out, it's over. Of course, this is California.
I'm a little concerned here, actually. If they can't prove a cause of death, I don't see how they're going to come up with anything better than circumstantial evidence to convict this guy. Sure, all common logic says he's guilty, but I have a feeling he's gonna walk.
He's already been tried and convicted in the court of public opinion. I say he's a MAJOR suicide risk. He'll take the easy way out before owning up to any responsibility for his alleged actions.

Much thanks to GrubbyLongJohns for condensing my sig pics into this nice banner!
The coyote goes..."Scott Peterson's standing in the public eye, however, had suffered a serious blow Jan. 24 when Amber Frey of Fresno came forward and confirmed at a packed news conference that she had been having an affair with Peterson, whom she met in connection with his job as a fertilizer salesman."
As grave as all of this is, I can't help but laugh hysterically at this. I owe the next Chemlawn employee I meet a wink and a thumbs up!

The rumours going around are that the Modesto PD picked up some pretty incriminating stuff when exercising their search warrants, but they're still keeping it secret. (Of course, I hear all my rumours third-hand....but if I had anything more credible, I probably couldn't say it here anyway, so there you go!)

I would be mildly amazed if this happened just because of how airtight the PD would have to be to keep this information from the public.
It's up on the web. Not sure how long it'll stay there, but I highly recommend reading it. If you scroll about halfway down, you'll see links for each of the eight chapters in one of those small boxes. http://www.msnbc.msn.
