Read Yo! 1.Nirvana-heart shaped box
2.Pearl Jam-Jeremy
3.Guns n Roses-welcome to the Jungle
4.Warrant-cherry pie
5.Sound Garden-Black hole sun

I really havent listened to the new metal bands ar any thing else cause my satellite is currently down. Zwan is alright and The exies are sorta dumb, and Linkin Park is doing well i guess. System of a down is cool.

Here's some "older" songs for ya.

1. Jefferson Starship "Find your way Back"
2. Rainbow "Street of Dreams"
3. John Waite "Change"
4. Golden Earring "Twilight Zone"
5. Aldo Nova "Fantasy"

Bonus: Deep Purple "Knocking at your back Door"

These are just a few on the songs I've re-discovered thru VH-1 classic and have been listening to during workouts recently.

I know what you mean. It doesn't help that I've been hearing them on classic rock radio now. I guess ten years is the magic cut-off point for a song to enter the realm of becoming "classic."

I'm not exactly a geezer (20 years old) but your "old rock" songs are hardly old. And in the case of Warrant: good.

I am not a geezer either (19), but I agree with Whitebacon, none of these are even old songs. I expected to see like Zeppelin, Eagles, etc. in here.

(cackle) AllMusic's review (allmusic.com) of the new album should be required reading for anyone buying it. It's probably for the best that they cut anything off of that CD.
