Are they setting up a Nowinski/Steiner match at Backlash? I sure as hell hope not, cuz that would be retarted. Who the hell care about that? I actually like Nowinski, but this current angle is crap. And steiner, that guy is just. Eh nevermind, but I'm just wondering if this match would actually go over?
However, setting up an 8 man tag match of Maven/Snow/Spike or Dreamer/Steiner -v- 3MW/Rico/Nowinski has possibilities. At least it'd get others on the show.
As the days go by, we face the increasing inevitability that we are alone in a godless, uninhabited, hostile and meaningless universe. Still, you've got to laugh, haven't you?
I'm smiling right now thinking about the crowd reaction we'll give Steiner in Worcester. I can totally picture the locals cheering the Harvard boy in that matchup.
Well, I had some doubts about the war when it started, so I'd definitely lean towards Nowinski. He's got a great character, and of all the Tough Enough folks, he (and Nidia) are the most natural blends with their charisma and likability. Nowinski is talented as hell, but he doesn't deserve Steiner, and he certainly doesn't deserve to be painted as anti-American. Oh, and off topic, I don't know any French people except my French teacher, but she was cool, so..

Old people aren't the solution to current problems. Oh god, is that SABLE?! We miss you already, Kurt!
I'm for this as long as Nowinski goes over Steiner. Yes, Stenier sucks, but he has a bit of credibility left to give the rub to Nowinski (not that he'd be doing so as a noble gesture, but because he is useless to the WWE for anything but putting others over). Of course it can't be a fluke victory. Let Nowinski out-smart him and beat him. I don't care if he cheats, but please no roll up with the tights or having 3MW laying out Steiner. I like Nowinski a lot and they could really get some mileage out of him if they didn't treat him like such a damn jobber all the time.
I really like that idea....I feel that Nowitzki should put over the fact that the USA is about brains and not braun...that would be one helluva gimmick for him, where all he would do is basically outsmart bigger, stronger opponents by exploiting weaknesses and mistakes made
He could talk that up about how the USA is the strongest nation not for our braun but our brains, then go off into how none of the neanderthals in most of the audiences would understand that, he could when they come to Boston applaud all of the protests and how much he appreciates the locals supporting his stance (as MA is a very liberal state)....imagine how much heel heat that would grab?!!?!?
I will be blunt...ill be cheering Nowitzki at Backlash, I think he has the skills to become a Honky Tonk-esque type guy (a heel who is just annoying enough)
Just noticed their weekend programming and thinking....they wouldn't hedge their bets by doing Steiner/Snow/Maven/Dreamer vs 3MW/Rico/Nowinski, would they? By gawd... that would be the equivalent of Survivor Series in Hell!

If this happens, may God have mercy on all of us.
Big brother representative: Now, Mr. Simpson, may I ask why you're here? Homer's Brain: Don't say revenge. Don't say revenge. Homer: Ummm... revenge? Homer's Brain: Okay, that's it. I'm outta here. [Sound FX: step step step step step... slam]
Heh. Of course Chris Nowinski, free-speech advocate, is the heel. This is WWE we're talking about, remember? Remember how Kurt Angle, abstinence advocate, and Steven Richards, anti-prostitution guy, were both heels? WWE is a weird place, that's for sure.
(Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

Didn't the WWE used to point out that fans' signs were "the epitome of free speech?" Suppose it makes sense now, cuz they're being confiscated right and left.

Actually, that would be much more entertaining than a one on one match. Both sides would have some guys who can actually work, and, with a lot of quick tags, it would be able to keep moving and remain entertaining.
A straight-up Steiner/Nowinski match pits a broken down roid freak against a rookie, and seems more of a recipe for disaster.
Of course, nothing's looking that great next month, so...
I can see WWE actually giving Chris Harvard a pinfall win over Steiner. A WWE homemade product will always be put over a broken-down WCW 'roid freak anyday.
But I don't see it happening without interference, likely from the new Evil French Freedom tag team.
You know it won't be long now. May God help us all!
Well, they announced at the SmackDown tapings that we would get to see a CLASSIC match between Sean O'Haire v. Rikishi. I don't see how Steiner/Nowinski could MUCH worse.
*END OF THE SPOILER ALERT! END OF THE SPOILER ALERT!*
Here's a theory I'm developing in response to the curious Hogan phenomena of turning off young viewers while still being cheered out of every building.
