This is easy if the guy is in one of the smaller feds, but if you're looking for somebody who's in RoH or TNA, it ain't gonna happen. c) hope that there's an ownership shakeup and the wrestlers you want get released or the promotion goes bankrupt.

See, I'm playing as WWE, and I can't buy out any promotion, even the smallest of Backyard Feds. Oh well, there aren't any guys in those (have you ever forgotten how to spell a really easy word, and then you look at how you spelled it, and it just seems wrong somehow. that just happened to me with "those". So it could be spelled wrong, but for some reason I can't remember right now) Feds I really wanted, I just like buying the competetion!

You've gotta wait until the promotion is in debt a certain amount of money. Usually the promotions with no money and crappy owners will end up in debt within a couple of months, and then SPEND AWAY BABY!

Just wanted to point out that the address is actually http://www.adamryland.co.uk/ew.html . I think most people who tried to go to http://www.adamryland.co.uk/ew would have figured it out, but that's the correct address in any case.

Indeed. Event history rules all. Been playing since April 1, and my champions is as follows. Currently it's September 1.

WWE Tag Team:
Apr 13 to Jun 29: Edge & Christian
Jun 29 to Jul 27: Los Guerreros [Chavo & Eddie]
Jul 27 to Present: Hotty-Cane [Hurricane & Scotty 2 Hotty]

WWE National:
Aug 25 to Aug 31: Rob Van Dam
Aug 31 to Present: Undertaker

WWE Intercontinental:
Apr 17 to Apr 24: Rob Van Dam
Apr 24 to May 15: Chris Benoit
May 15 to Jun 29: Ken Shamrock
Jun 29 to Present: Brock Lesnar

WWE Cruiserweight:
Apr 17 to May 25: Tajiri
May 25 to Jul 18: Rey Misterio
Misterio leaves, title vacated
Jul 27 to Present: Jamie Noble

Undisputed World:
Apr 27 to May 25: Kurt Angle
May 25 to Present: Steve Austin

The plan right now is to turn Eddie Guerrero heel on Chavo and feud 'em, while rocking out to Benoit/Austin for the Undisputed Title in a face-vs-face feud.

Installing over it is pretty much the only way I know of to take it out. Always back up your files!

I got fed up with Triple H bitching about his position, so I decided to get him to quit on his own. Behold!

A Very Special SmackDown: HHH Jobs to Everyone
Cruiserweight Champion Jamie Noble def. Triple H [**]
Handicap Match: Tag Team Champions Scotty 2 Hotty & the Hurricane def. Triple H [**1/2]
John Cena def. Triple H [*]
Chris Jericho def. Triple H [**]
National Title Match: National Champion The Undertaker def. Triple H [**]
RAW color commentator Paul Heyman def. Triple H [DUD]
Booker T def. Triple H [**1/2]
Chris Benoit def. Triple H [**1/2]
Intercontinental Title Match: IC Champion Brock Lesnar def. Triple H [**]
Kurt Angle def. Triple H [1/2]
Undisputed Title Match: Undisputed Champion Steve Austin def. Triple H [**]
Show Rating: 59%

10 road agents tell me I'm pushing HHH too much.
SmackDown rating drops to 4.86 from 5.9.
HHH's overness is 44, and his morale is 46.
He doesn't take the release offer...so...OFF TO OHIO VALLEY WITH YOU!

I love being in charge. Now, to book the Benoit/Austin feud!

Allow me to make a suggestion for an improvement. This applys a lot to the smaller promotions, but some wrestlers (Low-Ki, American Dragon) usually are wrestling for different promotions at the same time (ROH, NWA TNA). Maybe if you could put on an option for some wrestlers so they can be able to fight for more than one promotion at the same time?

Move him down the card. I know he's got a creative control card, but with him only being 44 over, it should let you drop him down, and that'll drop his morale even more. The weird thing was that I only dropped down the people that Sophie recommended. I went to every person, and I choose Demote, and as long as Sophie didn't disagree, I demoted them. I teamed him up with Kevin Nash (in a tag team called "WE SUCK", and jobbed them to every possible tag team I could think of. Then I dropped them both down the card, and they both accepted the release. Undertaker also got mad about being dropped down the card, (after sending me an e-mail that said he didn't deserve to be in the main event anymore) so I fired him too. The good news is that their contract demands are so big that no one will sign them. The only other person who got made about being demoted was Chief Morley. He is now a Main Event wrestler with UFC. I also found out that big non-wrestlers (like Bret Hart or Mick Foley) will sign a wrestling contract if you give them creative control clauses.

The other thing I did was sign Nicole Bass. She had High Spots ability, so I was trying to get her hurt, by repeateadly putting her in Ladder, Last Man Standing, and Hell-in-a-Cell matches where she would do a sick bump. Her health went all the way down to 1, but she never got hurt. That annoyed me. And her morale was all the way up too!

I saw New Japan was doing really well, so I raided some of their top talent. So at the last PPV, I had Keiji Sakota and Jushin Liger make their debut as a tag team, and I teamed Josh Barnett up with Sean O'Haire.

EDIT: I've changed many people's gimmicks. Angle, Haas, and Benjamin are all doing "Chameleon" gimmicks, where they imitate their opponents. I turned Steiner heel and gave him an "Obnoxious" gimmick, and teamed him up with William Regal. I gave Sean O'Haire a "Genius" gimmick that the crowd seems to like so far. I'm going to turn Big Show face and give him a "Big Friendly Giant" gimmick. I gave Bill DeMott a "Triad" gimmick and teamed him up with Hardcore Holly. I gave Brock Lesnar a "Pro USA" gimmick that I'll probably change again. I gave Test a "Prima Donna" gimmick. I gave Billy Kidman a "Teen Idol" gimmick. I think I changed Tajiri to a "Foreign Star". Ivory's doing "Girl-Next-Door", Victoria's doing "Witch", and Nidia was doing "Temptress" before I fired her.

Anyone know how easy it is, or if it is possible, to convert data from the last version and use it on 3.0? I spend far too many hours building up a Fed from nothing to just abandon it and start over with the new version...

Might as well say how I've been doing:

*Changed Shannon Moore's gimmick to "Gay".

*Pushed Mark Henry to the Upper Midcard, planning on having HHH job the belt to him.

* Pushed Randy Orton to the Upper Midcard, changed his gimmick to "Cowboy", had him break Billy Kidman's fingers, then hospitalize Kidman after a Texas Death Match.

*Oh, and Molly Holly has an eye injury and will be out for two months.

*bows down*

great timing too. I finally decided to get EWR 3.0 last week. I made some early roster changes before starting a game (I know, i'm a cheater :p ). Anyway, I added Velocity to WWE's lineup and i've made that an exclusive Cruiser show while Heat started out as a women's and Hoss' show (I stole the idea posted on her a couple weeks back for a Hoss title), but I later scrapped that, got rid of most of the hosses and turned Heat into a women's show. I've still got waaaaaaaaaay too many guys though and can't figure out who to get rid off.

I've got Brock/Cena building up on SD, Rock/HHH/Goldberg on RAW which will eventually be spoiled by Booker T. getting in on this feud and quickly pushing HHH out of the picture. After that Goldberg will just be Jobberg. I got Mattitude and Shannon Moore feuding in tag and singles matches respectively with Brian Kendrick and Jimmy Yang on Velocity and i've build up two great women's stables on Heat. One being Victoria, Alexis Laree, and Desire in a flock type group and Trish, Trinity, and Molly as the face stable going up against them.

oh yeah, Rico's now a manic depressive, Jindrak's been called up and is a pyromaniac, and they're both working under Sean O'Haire on Smackdown.

I made some minor announcer changes too putting Lawler and JR on Heat (which is originally why I made Heat strictly Hosses and T&A) and for RAW I got Tony Schiavone and Shane O' Mac.

I have to give props for the wide arrays of gimmicks. This version is just so much more fun.

Okay, here's one for you...I started with MLW which houses Satoshi Kojima, Ikuto Hidaka, and Taiyo Kea all of whom have stiffness at 85+. I've constantly got my roster complaining about them working too stiff and nearly injuring them. Anything I can do?

Tell your roster to shut up and do their jobs (both in the figurative and literal sense). Kojima, Hidaka, and Kea all rock, and put on excellent matches, thus increasing the quality of your events.

If it was someone who sucked that was being stiff, then it's a different issue...

That's what I've been doing so far. My only worry is that stiff performers will cause more injuries in my main-event card (Kea, Hidaka, and Kojima are all my main-event heels). I've noticed after a match with one of them, the opponent's physical condition goes WAY down, dropping 30 percent in some cases. So far the only injuries I've seen occur are totally random ones or injuries suffered after a Sick Bump in a gimmick match. Also, does it lower other wrestlers morale to have to perform against stiff wrestlers?

I'm thinking of bringing in Masato Tanaka (who for some odd reason NEVER gets signed by anyone else) to fuck shit up old school; the only thing stopping me is the possibilities of injuries that his 94 stiffness could cause.

I've restared with the update and this is whats going on so far.

I've ended the Roster Split and fired pretty much all the Women's Division, mainly because I don't want to bother booking them.

Brock/Angle are currently set in the big feud for the Undisputed WWE Title(I had HHH job to Brock cleanly)

Booker T/HHH feud, which I plan on hopefully leading to a Goldberg/HHH feud and Booker T/Rock.

My other two notable feuds would be Jericho/Benoit,which I plan Benoit going over to take on Angle for the Title(Angle will win the feud) and Jericho to feud with Austin.

The other has alot of heat for two midcarders. Its Cena vs Rhyno. I set up a Tournament to build Cena and Rhyno for their match at backlash for the WWE IC title I've recreated. I plan on Cena being the victor and begin a slow build to finally capturing the WWE gold from Edge when I fit him in.

And NJPW stats I thought I saw around here on the first page of this.

in the global level: WWE
in the national level: NWATNA
in the cult level: CZW, FWA, NJPW, PWF, ROH, UFC, WOW, and XPW
in the regional level: AWAA, EMLL, HWA, IWF, JCW (an unfortunate spelling mistake on this one), MPW, NWL, NWS, NWA-Florida, NWA-Hardknocks, OVW (which annoys me, because some WWE guys are in there), NOAH, 3PW, RCW, SCCW, USAPW, and WWA
in the small level: ACW, CIW, CPW, EWA, GCW, HPW, SWA, and TSW.

Oh, in my game, Rupert Murdoch took over NWATNA, and Bobby Heenan (who I released) is the company's biggest star, bigger than Jeff Jarrett, Bret Hart (in a non-wrestling role), Raven, and Juventud Guerrera.
Terri Runnels and Rosey both went to RoH, where they're among the top 5 stars. But then, Mongo McMichael is too.
I raided WOW, so they got stuck with old managers. Their top 5 stars are Ted DiBiase, Percy Pringle III, Elizabeth, Billy Graham, and Lucy.
Jamal, who apparently was the sucky part of 3MW, is an Upper Midcarder with XPW, but still lacks behind Tammy Lynn Sytch in popularity.
