From the desk of Swordsman Yen I think Jordan will be the GM of the Wizards and put his head together with Doug Collins on trading away the crybabies on the team (Stackhouse, Kwame Brown I'm looking at you). Geez, they use Jordan's prescence on the floor as an excuse for why they can't deliver on the court. If playing alongside MJ makes them nervous, they have no business being in the league.
It's a shame Jordan announced his retirement at the end of the season before the All-Star break when he was sucking hardcore, because he's been playing some inspiring basketball since that time, bringing his FG% way up and looking like the MJ of old at times, including in that ABC Sunday game against Boston two weeks ago. I have a feeling he's done for good though because honestly he has had so many retirement ceremonies, including the big one at the All-Star game, that it would just be embarassing to come back yet again.
I think it is a given that he can't coach very well as the Wizards --a team that on paper should be a lot better than they were this season -- had no on-court chemistry, didn't particularly get along and played maybe the worst team defense of any franchise this season. All Jordan could really do when the team didn't come together like he thought it would was ask "why arent we playing better?". He doesn't have the patience to be a good coach in my opinion. I think Doug Collins would have better off this season having free reign on the Wizards without a "player coach" on the floor as well. I think he'll probably end up in the front office somewhere, likely Washington.

you were close, but way off...
he's going back to being part owner of the wiz. and rebuild the team by getting rid of the crybabies and disrepectful players. his words, not mine.
"Grabbin your butt? That's not very lady-like." "I'm not a lady." "Oh. Whatever."
Stackhouse doesnt shoot for a good percentage and is not the guy to build a team around. Let someone else try to do it with him and get some solid guys to build a team around.
I LOVE WRESTLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Mourning is on the cap through this upcoming season, but he is only at $5.5 million per, so they do catch the break he's a mid-level exception rather than a max contract.
