Okay, so why haven't when seen the Hardy Boyz & Lita since the Royal Rumble? I mean, right afterwards there was that article on WWF.com where it was revealed the Hardyz weren't being "punished" and that the amydumas.net website was full of shit (and has since been closed down), but if they aren't in trouble any more, why haven't they been on TV. I also just checked the results from this weekends house shows, and they aren't in any of the results.

What's going on? Were the fired and I just didn't hear about it? It's not like the WWF has a dozen tag teams buring up the ranks like they did in 2000.

I have no real answer. Don't think they are fired. We would have read about that.
I believe someone said a few weeks ago they were in the B-house show..perhaps not all the time?
I think it is a good thing they aren't back. As you said it is not like there are a dozen tag teams..
And therefor the tag titles arent a hot item. They are slowly building chuck & billy. Let them take the time with that..
Throwing in the Hardyz right now in random tag matches (or again against the Dudley Boyz) would not make sense or generate interest.
And who knows..maybe they aren't around because they are working on their mic skills *grin*

This weekend, in Albuquerque, the Dudleys beat the Hardyz in a table match. I'm sure we'll see the Hardyz back either just before or just after Wrestlemania. There's just n(w)o room to introduce or reintroduce anyone right now.

Lita's been making runs with Jazz on the House Show circut too.

So it's just a matter of way too many people/things going on on TV right now to have anything more going on on TV right now.

Maybe it's due to changing tastes--the Hardys were innovative and exciting three years ago, but they ran the TLC matches into the ground. I think that's the ultimate flaw in that style of wrestling--eventually you reach a point where you can't top yourself. The Dudleys have a similar problem, but are better at psychology and have a more traditional style than the Hardys, so they're easier to use.
Still, the Hardys sell a lot of t-shirts, so I imagine they'll be back.

There not resting them, they suspended there asses, word came out that they didn't go all out with their breakup angle (many opinion because they enjoy their little spot).

Boy do I hate team extremely Crappy. There so damn one dimensional and it really shows you can't do anything more with them then what they have been doing for the last 2 years. I say turn them all heel and if they can't get heat fire them!

amydumas.com wasn't full of crap it was true but Amy being such a great person put her webmistress out to dry and say she has nothing to do with the site.

LOOK INTO MY EYES

There are no Hardy Boyz.

There is no Team Extreme.

There have never been any Hardy Boyz.

You're imaganing things that aren't true.

Okay, I'm lying - oh the mysteries they've solved.

Actually, I've had some strong jonesing for a Hardys match since the day after Rumble and it's been slowly driving me insane - ?llet uoy naC

The Offical WWF Line is that the WWF accidently burned TeamExtreme out - not neccesarly in the in ring sense, but in the "working 5-6 days a week with TV, house shows, WWF personal apparents, and so forth" sense and they needed a break. And it was a good time for one, because the WWF was surprised to find out that no one was intersting in them split up and fight each other (what a shock, I know!)

So, right now, they're working 2-3 house shows a week (keeps them fresh and ready for when they come back, gets them some more cash and ups the star power while they're doing two shows) and hanging out at home the rest of the time. I think they might have done some stuff with Tough Enough 2, as well, and Lita is/was at the MTV Japan (Asia?) awards. They'll be back when the storyline people are ready for them, and you can ask the ex-Alliance people what that could mean. The two most logical inroads would be anti-Undertaker or for the tag team belts, of course.

The "they're being punished" story is largely based on a posting on the then-offical (but not WWF run, probably dated back to before their were WWF people sites) Hardy Boyz site. Part of the confusion was that the webmasters' name was also Amy, so when there was something up there that went like "Amy: Vince met with Team Extreme and told them they were getting a break from TV, but I [Amy] know that we're really just getting punished", people attributed that to Lita instead.

In the past, there has been cases of wrestlers dumping their fan run site without giving them notice, and there have been cases of fans creating "offical" websites for people without wrestler really knowing or being involved. Each side is claiming different versions of what happened, so who knows. JR has denied the punishment story in a couple Ross Reports, but I don't know if you can count that as a credible source. At any rate, this is just something you have to decide for yourself, or ignore altogether - the effect is still the same, they're still not on TV.

What I don't get is WHY they did the reunion if they weren't going to follow up on it right away? Just to narrow this arguement, accept my assumption that there could've been another way to set up the Maven eliminating the Undertaker spot, okay?

If they're being given a break, why jump the story so far ahead when you're going to have to retell it again? Why not save that as forward momentuem (and a darn easy story to tell) for their real return?

If they're being punished - well, why hurt everyone? I mean, the feeling among other wrestlers in two of the bigger angles in the last year (Invasion, nWo), is that even though they have to deal with the negatives of other/annoying wrestlers coming in, the end result is that everyone makes more money, so they're fine with it (until it doesn't work out that way.) Why waste the best shot of the Hardys making money - it's not the scale of those two, but everyone getting back together would seem to help at least one quarter, make one special RAW moment - in a way where it'll be a footnote to another event and forgetton by the time they get to follow up on it?

Don't get it.

Team Extreme as heels, that COULD be intersting. The tag division seems balanced (your only real pushed teams are faces Scotty/Albert + Tazz/Spike and heel Dudleyz + Chuck/Billy - Booker T/Test they forget about for months so they don't count) so there's no need for them to go one way or another, and you might as well try to experiment.

Team EXTREME as heels? It won't work! The crowd just won't boo Lita. That's why they wanted to split them, you see...

I believe ANYTHING is possible!

I believe the children are our future!

I believe if you feud them with a tag team that has an equally hot chick, it can be done!

That won't prevent them from CHEATING TO WIN.

I knew Eddie Guerrero had that angle with them for SOME reason.... :)

Pshaw! They've been CHEATING TO WIN(~~~!) since damn near day one. A few years ago they'd be HUGE heels, and Gorilla Monsoon would be disgustedly saying "you might as well call this a handicap match, Brain!" but since Lita has TITZ(~~!) and THE THONG OF POWER... well, you know.

As long as Lita's with them, there's only one thing that can turn them heel...

Big, flesh-concealing raincoats. Can't you just IMAGINE the boos?

Also, consider what would happen if she... um, you know, stopped cheating, but at the same time, big wrestler guys beat the shit out her anyway, making sure she wouldn't cheat just in case...
