The first Thursday in April is the typical release date for the NFL schedule. And, yes, I do keep track of things like that.
For what it's worth, the Packers will open the season hosting the Vikings, and will play a Sunday nighter at Minnesota.

Not that any team deserves more than 4 prime time games but don't the Raiders usually deliver ESPN's biggest ratings, Im sure they would like them more than once.
edit: got rid of the preseason cause well...who cares.

The opening week Rams at Giants. This is great if the Rams end up signing Jason Sehorn. That will be comical as I am sure Toomer, Hillard and Shockey will drool if lined up against him.
Also the Giants basically get 9 home games since they are the "away" team in the game against the Jets.
And speaking of the Jets - they have to go to Oakland AGAIN. Yeesh.
The Packers are going back to Milwaukee games?? They're playing CHICAGO on Monday night?? Who did the Bears blow to get a Monday night game? Only two home games in December?? Boo.

Nah, those two games are just the games that are reserved for the Milwaukee season ticket holders, like they've always done. And two home games against Denver and Chicago (two teams used to the cold) = CRAP.
NOTE: The above post makes no sense. We apologize for the inconvenience.

So do regular season ticket holders not get to go or what?

There are two sets of season ticket holders at Lambeau Field. Those of us who have had our tickets in Green Bay "forever" get the first pre-season game, regular season games 1,3,4,6-8, plus dibs on post season tickets.
"Milwaukee" season ticket holders are those who used to have season tickets at County Stadium in Milwaukee. When the Packers moved all of the games to Lambeau (we used to play one pre-season and three regular season games there), it was determined that the Milwaukee people would get moved into Lambeau Field in apporoximately the same location, and get pre-season game 2, plus the second and (sixth orginally, but now the) fifth home game.
So, unless I buy tickets from someone who was a Milwaukee ticket holder, I'll miss the Lions and Eagles this year.
I'm just excited that my beloved Hawks play the Bungals in Cincy this year. Gotta make the trek and see if I can meet THE MAN, Jim Zorn in person. Can't wait!!!!!!

I'm looking forward to the season opener when my cherished Redskins take on our new friends (and shopping buddies) the New York Jets. After all the bad blood between these two this winter, this game should be very very interesting.

Hey, HEY, watch it there. Granted, he wasn't the best NFL QB ever (tho my personal fave), but he was WAAAAAAYYY better than all of those guys put together.

Hey, I never said Zorn was a bad QB. He's just one of those guys who had a cup of coffee with the Packers, and didn't exactly set the world on fire. But he was the man in Seattle for awhile there in the 80's.
And brick: Majkowski almost ran me over once when I was a kid. I was riding my bike next to Lambeau, and he peeled into the players' lot in his little red sports car...just missed me.
I'm not sure which is worse: that, or when he sang onstage at the Brown County Arena in 1989...with Poison.
