First of all, It's good to see you all after a few days to myself (and real life, he he he...). I had a good time with my Wrestlemania homeys, and well, I wasn't as sick the next morning as I thought! Onto the real topic. You know, I was pissed as many of you that HHH retained the title at Mania, and that HBK beat Jericho. Actually I was more pissed at HBK than HHH, simply because at least I still kinda LIKE HHH... Anyway, I was pissed, at the outcome of the title match, because I wanted to see the feud continue. I was really liking it slowly. Then, I hear it's HHH and the Hurricane on RAW, and I was p.o.ed. But then, the Booker-Jericho match came along and well, I felt really good after that. That beatdown of Booker and Shawn by Flair, Jericho and HHH really puts things in perspective for me. There's only one reason for what happened there, and it's so obvious that few of you realize it.

The feuds aren't over yet.

Booker was frustrated so he took out his anger on Flair, thus opting Flair to interfere in his match with Jericho, then HHH to also come in and get some...

Shawn saved Booker and went after Jericho for the low blow. HHH got some of Shawn, and Jericho took some too, Booker tried to make the save, Flair gets some shots in on Booker.... Okay, explanation aside, one thing was established here.

Booker took out Flair, Flair costs Booker a match HHH gets revenge.

HBK tries to get revenge on Jericho for the low blow, Jericho takes him out in the Walls.

HHH gets some shots on Shawn because he was the last guy to take out HBK (temporarily though, unfortunately).

It all makes sense to me. I was extremely pleased, because it's obvious to me, that there's another month in these fueds at least, and isn't that what we wanted if things at WM didn't work out? We got it! It's almost long term! If you agree, give me some lovin', even if you don't, give me something.

I love how Booker only "takes out his anger" on Flair instead of, you know, the guy he's feuding with.

The following post expresses the opinions of a raving Jerichoholic. He is biased, opinionated and bitter. You have been warned.

Wait a minute. I can understand how the Tripps-Booker feud isn't over (HHH needs somebody to beat at Backlash) but why isn't the Jericho-HBK feud done? The face went over at WrestleMania, the biggest Pay-Per-View of them all, so shouldn't that be it? I'd love for Jericho to get a clean win over Michaels, but it just won't happen.

The fact that next week's match seems tailor-made for a Diesel run-in makes me uneasy. Until they prove otherwise, though, I'm willing to believe that Booker T will get a rematch at Backlash and he will win.

Actually, that's what I was expecting during the beatdown on RAW. Of course, it would be more of a slow trot to ringside with a quad tear as he tried to climb in the ring, but its still close enough for government work.

Let me tell you, I woke up with a terrible vision in my head this morning. Next week, RAW Main Event, HBK/Booker T vs HHH/Y2J. Late in the match when The Book is about to get Pedigreed, here comes Kevin "Big Sexy, Diesel" Nash to make the save, but instead he Powerbombs the Book. Then HHH picks up The Book, HBK runs in to avenge the Book, but of course he gives The Book some Sweet Chin Music instead. That is similiar to what happened when Booker T was in the NWO for 3 weeks.

Now that would completely suck and be the worse peice of booking I could ever believe becuase it reverses 3-4 months of booking and is devoid of all logic. But this is the WWE. Hopefully Vince does not have a Clique reunion up his sleeve to make that come true. I really would rather Nash go to Smackdown and be fed to Brock or better yet, to Benoit.

Yeah, my friends and I were expecting Big Lazy to amble his way down to the ring during the beat down. Maybe Stone Cold trapped him in another net backstage...

I thought that was really funny...

Anyway...it doesn't matter who faces Triple H at Backlash, they're dead meat anyway because they want to transition the belt from Triple H--->Goldberg at Bad Blood. I say, let it be Diesel rather than further damaging Booker or rehashing HHHvs.Michaels again.

The suspicion amongst my group was that Nash was supposed to run in at the end of that but he injured himself on the way to the entrance ramp and was laying backstage in pain and thus couldn't make his spot. Expect him back sometime around Survivor Series ;)

I'm sure you mean Diesel, right? I refuse to even consider HHH-Goldberg right now. I'm just saying that HHH-Booker and Jericho-Michaels are still going on, and if certain people win at WM, then that's what should happen. That was the main wiener opinion on that. Well, here we are... and I wouldn't be surprised if Jericho becomes a placeholder for Huevolution too in the process. Come on, that would be great, wouldn't it?

Even if the feuds are over, and both Booker T and Jericho go over at WM, HBK and HHH still win in the long run. They went over at the biggest PPV, the one people will remember. Backlash is one of the least purchased and easily forgotten PPV's of the year. The Cliq can job at Backlash (even though I still don't think they will) and still look stronger in the eyes of marks.

I could handle the feuds continuing and Booker T winning later, if I hadn't heard that idiot Jim Ross go on and on and on about how Booker T was SOOOOOOOOO good at Wrestlemania that The Hurricane was getting squashed by Triple H at only 90% Triple H's normal mid-card squashing speed.

Way to build a guy up, vice president of the company...

I think HHH might actually job the title to Booker at Backlash, then step into a Goldberg or Nash feud afterwards. I don't think Vince is going to toss the title on either Goldie or Nash anytime soon. Goldberg's a new guy in the fed, doesn't need the title to be over, and Vince is bound to be reluctant to put the title on someone who's commitment to the business has yet to be proven. Nash's body is, frankly, questionable and I doubt he'll be getting a reign until/unless he proves his leg's not gonna snap at any second. So, actually, I think the Book's got a good shot at the title...

I don't see why everyone is pissed AT shawn. Maybe the writers wanted to give the marks a big babyface win after a long feud. You seem to presume that Shawn only won because he has "backstage influence" (how quick you all are to assume that silly rumors are facts), and that Jericho is never going over. Someday down the line, Jericho will go over, maybe with their final match being at the first ever Raw-only Pay Per View...Bad Blood.

Insanity as defined by Albert Einstein: "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

Insanity in practice as a WWE fan: thinking that unlike the previous 20-30 times that this time a feud will end involving HHH or HBK with someone who isn't one of those two going over.

Rumours abound on the net that Diesel was indeed scheduled to sprint with the grace of a gazelle to the ring so as to rescue his old chum Shawn but the booking was changed at the last minute.

This apparently was because Big Kev didnt want those pesky Goldberg and Austin stories stealing his limelight.

Or maybe it has something to do with the self same websites not wanting to look foolish having plugged a return for Diesel on Raw for the past 2 weeks.

RIght, I guess that guy who Booker attacked backstage a few weeks ago was really Flair in a Triple H mask?

I don't have a problem with HHH or HBK winning. The babyface (HBK) going over in the WM main event is not an unusual thing. I think they could have easily ended this feud, but I think the Jericho low blow at the end after the match was their way of saying it's not over with Jericho going over. I think this is just their way of having the face go over at WM but still have Jericho "win" the feud in the end. As for Booker/Triple H, I still don't think Booker deserves to have the World Title so Triple H beatin him doesn't bother me.

As for HBK and Triple H being the winners in the long run because they won at WM because that's what the marks will remember, I don't think that's true. I think that's what WE'LL remember because A) we obsess over who wins what and why etc B) we probably have a better grasp on the history of the WWE. If you ask me the marks are most concerned with what's happening in the present, so if Booker T does win then he will be the winner in their eyes, until the next guy wins. Which is really the way it should be.

I shed no tears for Zeke. He's definitely done too many jobs since he won the title, but if it means WWE has decided not give a big singles push to him then I would say good, he doesn't deserve one. No offense Zeke.
