Dear GOD that tombstone from Taker looked vicious. As much as I miss the move, it sure as hell means a lot more when it comes out once every few months.

Rocky is dead!

Well, it probably knocked him out for a least Monday Night. I guess he had more scenes to shoot this weekend. I'm wondering if they are going to cancel the match for NWO and make it the first official Wrestlemania match. It would go against the Rock v nWo theory, but I'd like to see this upcoming match then.

Damn, too bad I missed that. I forgot to rewind the tape in my VCR before heading out tonight, and didn't get any of Smackdown! Hopefully they will replay it multiple times. Nah, the WWF wouldn't do something like that.

And speaking of Undertaker finishers- what ever happened to his "Taker Care of Business" submission he used for a couple weeks back about a month and a half ago? Does he use it at all anymore, or did they drop that already?

My prediction...

Undertaker beats Rock at NWO because Rock is still hurt from his neck injuries. Rock immediately asks for a rematch at WrestleMania, Taker accepts.

The nWo interfere in NWO main event, beat down Austin.

Rock comes out on RAW a week or so later and asks that Undertaker put their differences aside and join Austin in a WrestleMania match against the nWo. Undertaker appears to accept...then attacks Rock again, claming it's "disrespectful" to try to get out of a match with the Undertaker.

Rock and Undertaker rematch at WM, and Rock wins clean. This would hold up with Rock's claim a few weeks back that this would be "his WrestleMania," and ending UT's unbeaten streak at WM would fit the criteria.

I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see him again until No Way Out. Just writing him out for the week so he can shoot more scenes. I would hope that's it at least, I mean he should sell that, it was vicious.

And I think you're fat. So how do you like me now?

That was officially the coolest thing I've seen all month. My roommate called for a last ride when Taker took him to the roof, but when he picked him up, I figured it'd be another chokeslam.

When he scooped him, my only thought was "no fucking way". Then he did it.

That was awesome. Taker rules.

I'll tell ya-- up until a couple of months ago, I was convinced that 'Taker should retire.

But recently, he has re-invented the role of the legitimate bad-ass heel.

I would have liked to see 'Taker hit the Last Ride on Rocky and send him through the roof of the car, but breaking out the Tombstone Piledriver ruled all, anyway.

Thing is though, if enough people on the net admit that the Undertaker not only does not suck, but actually does some mega cool things, CRZ's going to have a lot of "I told you so"'s to say. For a while there, he was about the only person that wasn't on the "someone kill Taker so he'll finally retire" bandwagon.

Or wasn't he?
Perhaps it was one of those 'I don't agree myself but I say it in my recaps anyways to see how it influences the readers' opinions' things? Hmmm...
I always liked the Taker, just wasn't vocal about it.
True, the Sara thing sucked but other than that I kinda like him.
Damn..sure hope to see that tombstone soon..sounds sweet.

Well, if Taker is anywhere near RAW, we'll definately get to see a replay. I can't wait, I never watch Smackdown! Hope that when they eventually split, RAW ends up with Taker, Angle, and the cruiserweights... I would be so happy

Okay, I'll admit it, that was a wicked-looking tombstone. But why is the WWF's matinee idol taking bumps like that? It'll be hard to do reshoots if you have compacted vertebrae.

I still hate 'Taker, though. I can't help it!! He's fine in small doses, but god-awful working a match.

Awwww, damn, in a month we're all gonna be labeled "Taker-sheep" and we'll all start hating on Foley or something. Welcome to bizzarro world.

Taker and Maven rock! I just can't wait until after being so disrespected by everyone Taker retires, and then it's MAVEN who convinces him that everybody really does respect him, and he's gotta come back! Yes, Maven brings back the one and only Undertaker!

LMAO. Nope. Didn't say or imply that at all.

I'm just curious as to why one observation I made almost a month ago -- with some reinforcement and accentuation from CRZ -- has so many people thinking I was talking about them directly.

Guilty conscience, perhaps?

I've NEVER directly pointed to any one person and said "You're a sheep" or "You're part of the hive mind."

I was merely making a point about the message board mob mentality phenomenon. Take from that what you will.

I know, it's just the infamous "Sheep Argument" is locked with you in my mind, so that's why I had to bring it up. I said it somewhere else (Politics maybe?) today that I don't really believe people are sheep, it's just when things are good we tend to praise them (Billy Gunn, Taker, *for some of you* Triple H) and when things are bad (Steph, bad angles, Scott Keith) we tend to bitch and moan about them a lot. Remember, this is a little online community right here. The only reason we can coexist on this messageboard is because we can all agree, or at least agree to disagree on wrestling things. If we couldn't do that, then all our threads would devolve into the Derek Burgan one. Or maybe that one between BF and Drop. Or that Hot Newz one. Hell, maybe we just don't get along.

Jaguar - I AM TAKERSHEEP dammit!

edit/ Well at least all of the bad blood stays in the Site Bashing forum.

edit2/ And the Hockey forum.. the Mario/Gretzky thread... sheesh

Now that's not a very nice thing to say to someone

You're nuts Papercuts. You really think YOU made everyone like the Undertaker. It couldn't be the fact that the Undertaker is out there busting his ass, and looks like a mean mother fucker doing it, could it? Or am I totally misunderstanding you

The Tombstone is back! Now if only he'd start dyeing his hair black and growing the long goattee again, I'd be set. But let's not go nuts now... More general bad-ass/less biker boy is good. Full return to Druid Dark Lord would suck! Then again, with the nWo back, the WWF is already in full BOHICA mode.

That's because Trish is used to the attention she gets out of T&A. She made good money out of her posing. I do understand that. It is admittedly hard to wean North Americans to good women's wrestling against this backdrop.
