Sorry if this has been mentioned already but I just saw the Piper commmercial previewing the Hogan/McMahon match. Isn't this the same guy who's been bashing Vince and the product for months now? I think selling out should be renamed in Piper's honor. Maybe Pulling a Piper or something clever like that
Seeing that Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, and all those other McMahon haters turned re-instated WWE employees have basically done the same thing since the InVasion, I don't think it is fair to do that to Roddy.
Piper always does whats best for Piper. He was an ass in TNA for bring up Owen Hart's name the way he did too. Plus, i think he appears in TNA and WWE cause he wants to make sure he gets on tv. He tried to make a new promotion, which he said would blow WWE out of the water and Hogan was going to be a part of it, well we see how good Piper did with his promotion didn't we.

Flair was a McMahon hater? I thought they parted on good terms in 1993.
Seeing Piper gives me a scary idea....Piper/partner vs. Hogan/partner at WrestleMania XX? As poor as the match would probably be, it would be a good chance to give some youngsters the rub.

I made that same suggestion awhile back. Recommend partners would be Randy Orton for Piper and Booker T for Hogan.

Flair's had nothing but kind words for McMahon always. Plus, he's always said that his run there in 1991-93 was one of his most enjoyable.
McMahon was actually considerate enough to let Flair out of his contract early in 1993 so he could return to WCW. He could have buried him for the remainder of it, seeing as Flair was immediately going to be at the top of WCW's cards.

Yeah, but do you really think it would be youngster involved in the match. It would probably wind up Flair/Piper vs Hogan/HHH or something as ridiculous. OR they'll bring back WarGames for this pile of garbage: Nash/Hogan/HBK/HHH vs Flair/Piper/Luger/Steiner.
God, just thinking about it makes me ill.

Then again, getting all of the old boys out of the way in one match might not be such a bad idea. As long as the main event for that card is Booker T vs. Chris Jericho or Lesner vs. RVD, I could stomach that.

Dear god, an you just imagine the possibilities? Piper/Vince(Shane in the corner!) vs Hogan/Bischoff(Jimmy Hart in the corner!) would rule the UNIVERSE!
Then again, why not go by WWF thinking and screw everything up. Hogan and Piper have history with each other, so why not put them TOGETHER as a tag team. Hogan/Piper vs Vince/Shane for a spotfest extragavanza!!!
Don't forget Goldberg's comming in, so he'll be thrown in there and you just know they gotta throw him in there somewhere.
Then again, this will probably just all suck ass as per usual, but I'm always optomistic.
Ever feel like that whole end of the universe is upon us with all these 'THAT will NEVER happen' things suddenly happening?

Piper said on a radio show a few months back he was asked to ref the Vince-Hogan match but declined (yeah, right he declined)... I get the feeling that if there's chance for him to have one last shot at the spotlight, he'd do it. And I don't say that sarcastically. Piper was one of my absolute favorites growing up, maybe my single favorite. Even though he seems to not care for Hogan and Vince personally (according to his, shall we say, imaginative autobiography), who could blame him for setting a grudge aside to appear at WrestleMania? I get the feeling that perhaps he agreed to be on TV only because he'll be at Mania, though that's just a guess. We won't see Heenan, Ventura, etc. there on Sunday. Personally, I'd love to see Piper in a ref capacity. Just don't let him anywhere near a mic!
