Didn't the women's 3way match last year end with Jazz retaining the title...

hold the phone! if all Matts four matches at Mania were for titles and he lost at XVI, XVII & XVIII then where's his other WM match?
Also with Rhyno its his second Mania APPEARANCE . i don't know if your counting simply appearing in the WM TLC match when he helped E&C retain so i'll assume you mean matches.
Also Manding i was gonna bring that up if noone else had and your right. Jazz did retain the title last year over Lita and Trish
If you're all so smart then answer me this... where the hell are my pants!!!
Originally posted by JakegnosisI'd like to know who Nathan Jones gave a blowjob to to get a match at Wrestlemania after his storied 3-week career in the WWE.
The funny thing about this is that Brian Kendrick tries to get HIS ticket to Wrestlemania on Smackdown this week, but Stephanie turns him down, presumably because he's only been around a few weeks. Think about that.
Forget Brock! TRINITY is the Next Big Thing! Congrats to both Kid Kash and TRINITY~! on signing long-term deals with TNA!
Oh, give me a break. You're making it sound like he's main eventing. He's in a fricking lowcard tag match with Undertaker. Taker's going to get a match anyway so it's not like he's eating up somebody's spot.
Yeah, it's Wrestlemania. I still don't see why that doesn't mean the guy can't work a tag match. Hell, two years ago the Gobbledy Gooker (gimmick battle Royal, yeah yeah yeah, I know. They still took someone's spot) had a Wrestlemania match. Last year Maven had a match.
In short: Who cares?
Let the guy have a part of a match. It's not like the rest of the card isn't going to be stellar.
Satire 03/10/03 (wienerboard.com) <- No kidding, right? Buffy 7.16 gets a 7.65372 Andrew is funny, but I'm not sure that we needed "The Andrew Episode".
Nice info on the card..like the format
On Kendrick: Does he have a contract already (in the storylines?) I don't think so, so the only way to be there is a ticket.. Btw..how does he get in and get to hang out backstage all the time anyways? *grin*
On Jones: So what if he is on the card. Or maybe in the next three weeks something will happen and he won't be. Does it matter? And btw..too bad that he already fell out of favor with everyone despite the cool promos.

Easy answer.
Bryan Kendrick is 5'6" Nathan Jones is 6'10"
Interesting Trivia: Both Kendrick and Jones had previous developmental contracts. Both were dropped from said contracts. Then both men got full WWE contracts at least a year afterwards.
I have a special friend. He's the baby Jesus and I love him and...and...he don't give me no s**t and he don't f**k around and he's just the f**king coolest guy and I wanna say I love the baby Jesus.I can't say enough.I love the baby Jesus and I think...he's the best thing and he's really great when he shares his love for everbody. You know what I mean?I can't even see a manger without thinkin' about him,eh?I just love the Jesus.I've only been into him for a couple of hours though, but I'm really into him. --Bruce McCulloch

Thank you.
All I've heard all year (HHH rants excepting) is "Vince isn't pushing new talent", "the WWE's going stale", "when are the young guys gonna get a chance?".
Well here you have it. A new guy getting a break early doors in the company and guess what? People bitch anyway.
And why? Cos you've heard rumours that in the dim and distant past he wasn't a grade A worker? Cos he blew one spinkick? I hate to break the news folks but there isnt a guy on the roster who doesnt still blow the occassional spot. But I forgot, its not cool to like Nathan Jones.
Team Angle have been largely heatless and have even received 'boring' chants in some of their matches. Any bitching about them being in WM so soon?
At least try and look on the bright side. If he's as awful as so many of you seem to think he will be then hes gonna be shown up on the biggest stage of all and his depush will commence with much haste. Like Excalibur said its not like the rest of the show wont rock even if he does stink the place out.
At the end of the day theres some people out there who wont be satisfied until the 'technically gifted' (but not too big, mind) wrestler of their choosing is given a year long push culminating in them winning the main event at WM. Its pathetic.

I think you read it wrong. As I read it, it says that all of Matt's matches (Jeff was in them too) were title matches. They were *for* the title. There wasn't anything about how any matches he's been in. And he also said this will be his 4th Wrestlemania.
(edited by Mr. Boffo on 13.3.03 1012) NOTE: The above post makes no sense. We apologize for the inconvenience.
I put my thoughts on Jones in the other thread on him, but as for Kendrick, I think a lot of you are missing the point. Kendrick's character is that he's the plucky underdog who has to fight for everything he gets. He's not as tough as the other guys, but he's got a lot of heart. It wouldn't make sense for him to waltz in and get a WM match.
kendrick will probably wrestle on HEAT prior to Wrestlemania. Not too shabby for him. A good match (probably with O'Haire as a tag partner against some one from RAW (3 Minute Warning?), will give him some big time exposure. Is he the next Spike? Possibly, although the crowd loved Spike from the get go and still oves him and he did have the Dudley sbacking him.
Good luck to Kendrick. I hope it works out.

Sometime during the Undertaker/Jones vs. Big Show/A-Train match, odds are the entire universe will be sucked into the Great Workrate Black Hole. Good lord, and you thought that Undertaker/Kane vs. KroniK was bad.

I hope (against, hope admittedly, but still) that the tag match is awesome and everybody puts in a great effort and puts on an entertaining few minutes, just to spite everyone who's already bitching. THAT would make me happy.
Awww, their soccer team's lyin' all over the place!
I think that would depend if the WWE has given him his outright "realease" or simpy used some other clause in his contract to keep him from working actively. The contracts these guys have are pretty labyrinthine affairs
