I lasted about ten minutes watching it (although I am taping and will probably speed through it later).

It was cool to see Curtis Armstrong as "alfred." To some, he's booger, but to me, he'll always be Herbert Viola.

It's pretty good so far, but the hip-hop/rap soundtrack is a little disconcerting. . .

Hee hee...this movie was pretty entertaining. Was I the only one who thought Burt Ward could pass as Jerry Lawler's twin brother?

You gotta admit, it was pretty sweet to see West bust out the Bat-tusi for the movie!

This movie was amazing. As a total mark for the old show, and the movie, I thoroughly enjoyed this. I think those two dudes who played yound West and Ward did a great job getting the personas and mannerisms down pat.. And even the corniest of jokes in this thing had me rolling with laughter.

Just one question, who was that who played young Frank Gorshin? I know I've seen his face before, but dammit I just couldn't place it. Any help?

His name was Brett Rickaby. It doesn't look like he's done anything too special (according to IMDB.com)

For Angel fans, "Young Burt Ward"'s wife appears to be Amy Acker (Fred).

Cheesy as hell. Lotsa fun.

I have a special friend. Brett Rickaby starred on the shoe 'The Strip' that was advertised way to much on Smackdown during it's first year. He's also done a small bit on Angel, which is more likely for any of you to have noticed him from.

This movie had no business being on television and I can't believe how it made it to air. How many two hour movies feel like six? It actually broke the laws of physics! (But it was all brought back to our gravity by Burt Ward's *tremendous* gut - check out the scene where it's framed perfectly by the rope tied around him - HELLO)

Despite ALL that, it was totally awesometacular. Even though I came close to calling almost every "twist," they were all JUST different enough from what I had expected to be (slightly) surprising. Also, I think they made the right choice with all the blatant kayfabe-breaking as Adam West is surely the king of "wink/nod" method acting. It's also a little creepy how Ward's voice hasn't changed AT ALL over the past million years. In closing, I'm glad Kim has already given up on "Six Feet Under" so I could sit through this thing instead.

Well, we taped this in anticipation of watching it at a future date and all these comments seem to suggest it should be worth my two hours (or six). Thanks for the feedback.

This fell into the its so bad its good category perfectly. But Adam didn't talk about his TV Land commercials when mentioning what he's been doing recently.

Well, there's two things.

1. I haven't watched it yet.

and

B. It was taped over the air (rabbit-ears, ya know) since CBS is the one station DirecTV says I should be able to get for free and not pay them to show me.

Thusly, should you not be able to find a better version that my snowy one, I would gladly ship it to you when we finish watching it!

I'm hoping it shows up on DVD. I missed the first 15 minutes or so and so I missed the Bat-tusi, but I saw a clip of it on a news show yesterday.

Obviously parts were exaggerated, but I wonder how close the behind-the-scenes stuff was to reality.

The only thing that came to mind during the movie:

"Adam West wishes he *ever* could have looked that good in the bat suit."

Frank Gorshin is simply wonderful as George Burns in his one man show.

Okay, this would be the part of the thread where I tell DrOp that we got a new VCR/DVD player on Sunday. Then the piewife let me set it up. Mistake there.

So, I hit one button record at 7:45 PM and let it tape to the end. But if you don't switch the little button from SP to SLP, it only tapes 2 hours worth of show on the tape, not 6 hours. So, yup, I got the frist 45 minutes of the Batman movie in somewhat snowy vision.

So, DrOp, I have no tape to send... in fact, now I need a tape!

I hang my head in shame.

Ah yes, back when Batman was still cool...before Burton ruined it.

great. I've only seen a handful of episodes but i've enjoyed what i've seen. Hmm...I wonder if they're bringing "Family Business" back for another season? That was pretty interesting.
