For the record, I DID NOT create this. It was forwarded to me.

CRZ has also claimed innocence.

This is genius, whomever is responsible.

Though I don't know what purpose the "Guess your result" window at the end serves.

Yeah, I'm A FAN! No smarkiness for me! Anyway, I put in the "Guess your answer" place MARKMARKITYMARKMARK, and at the top of the screen it asked me if I wanted to search for things having to do with MARKMARKITYMARKMARK on Amazon.com... heh they make you do your own product placement.

Well gee, isn't that just a tad biased towards one view. So because I like Benoit and don't like Billy Gunn and the Undertaker I must be a sheep. I guess the fact that I hated the Smoking Gunns and loved Benoit from the first time I saw him were just net osmosis creeping into my brain despite not being on the net at that time. And the fact that whenever I watch it looks like UT only sells for Austin, Rock, or HHH must simply be because I want to be like Scott Keith when I grow up. I'm getting tired of the philosophy that says willful ignorance is good, liking people just because the crowd likes them is good, criticizing the WWF is bad, and actually critiquing and not being happy with the content on tv is bad. Well fuck that. I HATE watching the Undertaker. If I threw my computer out the window I would hate watching him. If Dave Meltzer had a religious conversion and decided Undertaker could take Tito Ortiz and Chris Benoit in a shoot fight handicap match I would hate the Undertaker. I HATE watching Billy Gunn. He is a waste of space who has not improved any aspect of his performance in over 10 years. He had to be carried by the F'n Road Dogg into a tolerable team, and then leech of the rest of DX's heat at that. I LOVE Benoit. His matches are always fun to watch, I enjoy his rather unique interview style, and I never feel bored when he's in the ring. I LOVE RVD matches. His style is just a shade different than everyone else in the WWF. I would much rather watch him than Undertaker, Chuck and Billy, or even the man who has somehow acheived near-sainthood in this wave of "let's all go back to being marks the way we were when we were 9" sentiment, HHH himself. I don't enjoy HHH. He bores me. When he's on my tv, I often flip channels to other things. If the above makes me some sort of insufferable smark, well I don't give one sweet shit. I'm tired of being told that because I like certain things, I am in the wrong, and even worse, I don't even like them because I want to but simply because certain arbiters of taste tell me to. And then I'm told instead I should appreciate the people the ultimate arbiter of wrestling taste, VKM and his family, tell me are the best and should be my heroes. Well no, I think I will pass on that. If you like the things I hate, fine, I will argue the merits of them with you. But I will not stand for being told I do not know my own opinions any longer.

Looks like I'm "Almost a Smark".

But I don't think that test has a large scientific base!

I came out a "fan". But I think the only one I agreed on was the "RVD" one.

The very definition of "banal".

It was mildly amusing, at least. I believe the humor was intended at those who take the product way too seriously for their own good. (spf, in no way was this even intended as an insult to anything you said.) However, the entire thing reeks of a waste of time.

(Not to blow the whole thing, but just go straight to "Show my Results" to get called a fan. )

/EDIT: I was almost a smark, btw.

I am just a plain ol' Smark.

Funny how I got that despite my belief that Billy Gunn DOES deserve to be on TV.

spf, take a DEEP BREATH.

No one is accusing you of not being able to form your own opinons, and you CERTAINLY shouldn't take anything a silly online test says as gospel.

And my remarks have NEVER been directed at you. No one's ever said "spf is a sheep" or "that spf, he can't form his own opinons."

YOU know better, right? I know you do. You're a smart guy. Take these types of opportunities to laugh at others that CAN'T and DON'T form their own opinons, because you can.

And actually, I think your not liking Triple H is AGAINST the grain (see, because current Smark culture requires you to talk about how great he is, how big he looks and how he's the Smartest Man in Wrestling -- ™2001, Bryan Alvarez.)

So don't sweat it. No one's ever accused you of being unable to formulate your own opinons.

Wait...Wait...Wait

I thought HHH held everyone back, has really bad acne problems, has a limited moveset, moved really slow and needed to lose several pounds.

Help!

Somebody tell me what to believe!!!

(I got almost a smark...which is probably true)

I was "a fan" and cracked up when it asked if I called Hogan "the Orange Goblin," because I just did that the other day outloud to a less-smarky friend of mine.

It wasn't the test that set it off so much as being the last in a series of issues like this I've seen lately. It seems like as of late there's been this sentiment brewing that people only like certain wrestlers because they're pimped on the net, and same with disliking certain ones because some net voices dislike them. And it's just getting tiring to me, and this silly little quiz caught me at just the right moment to explode on the issue. Sorry if anyone thought I was blowing up at them in particular. This is just something that has been bugging me for a while, as anyone who's seen my bio will notice.
Oh, and Excalibur, hating HHH is so 2001 on the net now. Now he's got a great mind for the business, has amazing intensity, is a fantastic face, and has a fantastic natural build

But I think to a certain extent it is true. If someone posted on this board how much he loves Billy Gunn, and how Scotty 2 Hotty is a great wrestler they'd get flamed immediately. For the most part the Net is a bunch of sheep. It's cool to bash Hogan and the Outsiders or praise Benoit. HHH was hated by the Net. Then a couple of people start saying how much they love him and it turns around. Now it's cool to bash him again. There are plenty more examples. Ok, I'm going to stop rambling.

Hungarian;

There was a lengthy discussion on This Very Topic a couple of weeks back in a thread called "Why does everyone hate..."

Go back a couple of pages on the board. I bet you'll find it interesting.

You ever watched a Sci-Fi movie (the genre, not the channel) with someone and they totally ruin your fun because they point out how unbelievable the movie is?
