But if Cena goes over Brock out of nowhere, evne with despicable heel tactics, it'll be Ronnie Garvin all over again.

It'd be about as shocking as Michael Hayes going over Lex Luger for the U.S. title many moons ago. Shocking swerves (actually shocking swerves, not Russo SHOCKING SWERVES) are a lot of fun and everything, but that's not something you want on the biggest show of the year.

More and more, it's looking like Rocky and Austin will hold the main event slot again, which has to be some kind of record.

I've been thinking about this the last couple of days, and even though I still hope its Lesnar-Benoit, I wouldn't be surprised to see Lesnar-Cena at Mania. Cena still has some issues with Brock, and although Cena will most definitely lose, that could be a good match.

This is what it should be in my opinion. Do the 8 man tournament, end up with Taker being the one wrestling Brock. Build up the fact that Taker's never lost at Wrestlemania. Build up that Brock's beaten Taker twice. Do 20 minutes with Brock going over. Then over the next few months, turn Brock heel. By the time Angle returns, they can do Brock-v-Angle properly.

I'm with you on that one. Brock being the guy to end 'Taker's winning streak would be bigger than anything he could get just by them hotshotting a thing with Benoit. And it's not like Undertaker and Lesnar can't have good matches.

I never liked the idea of Face Brock vs. Heel Angle, it seems natural that it should be the other way around. Hopefully they will do it that way next year. In a way, saving a match like that for the 20th Anniversary WM seems appropriate.

The Cena idea is interesting, and it wouldn't be the WORST thing they could do to have him take the place of Angle...but come on, I can't see that happening. If Angle had been hurt a month ago I suppose it would have been possible, but it's way too close for them to put Cena in there and cross their fingers that people are interested.

RVD would be a decent choice, but only if he won, since Brock has already beat him convincingly at KOTR last year.

Where did this "Lesnar and Undertaker have great matches" theory come from? Ok, their Hell in a Cell match was good, but not great. Just good. And does anyone even remember their match at Unforgiven the month before? That was just brutally bad. I'll give the two credit: They did have an entertaining Hell in a Cell match. But that does not constitute them being Steamboat/Flair 2003.

You thought watching Thunder was bad? Raw is like watching Thunder in re-runs.

No one said it did.

Just because you say they had one crappy match and one "good, but not great" match, it doesn't mean a WM main event between the two of them would suck. I never said they had great matches, I said "it's not like they can't have a good match." I know you lie awake at night praying for Benoit to main event at a WM, but a Benoit vs. Lesnar match would not generate the interest a UT vs. Lesnar main event would, especially in this limited amount of time they have to build it up.

Benoit is fun to watch, but as a main-eventer, he's merely good. Good, but not great.
