One of the classiest things I've seen in a long time happened tonight. A wrestler didn't put himself over. He didn't put an angle over. He didn't put another wrestler over. He put the fans over. The crowd that's cheered for him for over 5 years. It gave me goosebumps, and almost brought tears to my eyes. It was a from the heart shoot you don't see anymore. Thank you, Steve Austin.
Well, that's how he's said he thinks of himself now. He's brought up the fact that he's 40 and can't go year-round with the rest of the guys like he used to anymore.
Shit, if having him on the show brings in some more people, and they let him be interesting instead of Gerbiwilzetz (hope I got that right ) making him do the same tired stuff week after week like RAW was a sitcom, then I say great. I don't really care if Austin being off TV means that Crash Holly gets moved one step up the ladder because at this point it would mean that Crash Holly was a slightly bigger person in a company that doesn't mean much to most people.
Here's hoping that Austin gives them a shot in the arm.

Sure...
What about the Hurricane/Rock skits? I missed tonight's b/c of the dreaded homework for Eng 100!

Well Austin-Rikishi didn't exactly set the world on fire that one time.
It did actually pop the ratings, but that was more "Austin returning" than who he was fighting.
I have a special friend. He's the baby Jesus and I love him and...and...he don't give me no s**t and he don't f**k around and he's just the f**king coolest guy and I wanna say I love the baby Jesus.I can't say enough.I love the baby Jesus and I think...he's the best thing and he's really great when he shares his love for everbody. You know what I mean?I can't even see a manger without thinkin' about him,eh?I just love the Jesus.I've only been into him for a couple of hours though, but I'm really into him. --Bruce McCulloch
Austin seemed a bit off last night on the mic, but then again, he did admit that he was rusty. Pretty cool on his part to thank the fans though.
I'm really interested to see where the latest Austin-Rock feud goes. Hopefully, this doesn't involve a Debra-like plot twist like the build-up to WrestleMania X-7 did. Of course, if the match is as good as THAT one, then that'll be quickly negated. :)
Hey guys, I need a bit of help here. I'm looking for Raw from 1/15/01 and Smackdown from 1/18/01. If anybody can help me out, let me know via PM, okay? I'll pay the postage.
