Due to its increased popularity, I was wondering if you guys are thinking of adding an MMA/UFC forum. Maybe include a little boxing as well.

I'm not suggesting this as a joke, let me say this first and foremost... ok.

There is a magazine called Psychotronic Video, where in each issue, they leave the last 4 to 6 pages listing people who have died between issues or or that are so obscure that it took time to actually find out that they had died.

Could we, perhaps get a forum like this, so there are not so many posts in the regular forums of this nature?

My reason is as follows:

While I certain believe that everyone should know when a person dies, it shouldn't necessarilly(sp?) be posted in the regular forums, cause it almost seems like it's making light of it next to other posts in said forums.

When someone dies, there's ALWAYS gonna be someone who has something stupid to say. When the post about said death is in the regular forums, it's easy to dismiss stupid comments because these posts are listed right next to other posts. If there was a seperate forum for these types of posts, it will be easier to point out the assholes because then you know the ONLY reason they are in there posting is to say something stupid.

Finding out that someone died does NOT to be listed right next to a thread called 'UT's New Feud. Commence Groaning!'(Hennig) or sandwiched between 'Jennie Finch vs Anna Kournikova' and 'I hate my cable provider'(Rogers). It just seems wrong to me.

Well, perhaps you will give this some consideration, thatks for listening.

I don't think that deaths which we discuss here in the forums happen with enough regularity that something like that is necessary, and let's hope it never gets to the point where it is.

Scanning down your list, I see all of two people who I knew enough about and cared enough about to post on, and both were subjects of extensive discussions in their proper forums.

This is a wrestling message board, not a death message board and if you want to sit around and shoot the shit about the famous people obituaries, I'm sure there are many forums to suit their needs. I'd prefer however, especially since it's unlikely that I'd ever read a dead people forum, that the post go in their proper forums so that, in case they are of interest to me, I'm sure to see them.

And yeah, lots of people die all the time, but that doesn't mean that people want to talk about them, or that people HERE want to talk about them, and it CERTAINLY doesn't mean that the topic deserves it's own forum.

I'm with Ubermonkeys on this one.

Shame on you for not mourning the passing of Dolly the Sheep Excalibur. I never knew you were so cold hearted.

A death forum would be creepy, seeing the thread/body count go up would be really depressing... I personally have no problem differentiating the seriousness level of a someone death and a who's hot thread. Hopefully most here could as well

Speaking of a who's hot thread, a hottie forum might be cool. But then seeing the recent photos of Madusa and Bearer in drag, it might be really really bad.
