Check out the new Twilight Zone with Forest Whitaker. It really is that good. It also has the feel of the old Rod Sterling episodes, rather than the shitty "new" twilight zone show in the 80s. (although this might just be because last episode they did both a continuation and a remake of two of the Rod Serling ones).
Not that it has an old-school, 50s feel. It's that it uses the creepy, supernatural stuff to either tell a good story, or provide a little commmentary on the human spirt, rather than to just make you go "oooh, creepy."
This show needs more love. And Forest Whitaker does a great job hosting, and I was on eof the guys that laughed out loud the first time I heard "Forest Whitaker hosts...the Twilight Zone."
It seems that I am - in no particular order - Zack Morris, John Adams, a Siren, Janeane Garofalo, Cheer Bear, Aphrodite, a Chihuahua, Data, Cletus the Slack Jawed Yokel, Amy-Wynn Pastor, Hydrogen, Bjork, Spider-Man, Boston, and a Chaotic Good Elvin Bard-Mage.
You make it sound a lot like The Outer Limits with the commentary on the human spirit, and since I love TOL, I might actually remember to check out TTW.
Pearl Jam - Live in Little Rock: 103 Days & Counting
The PLAN was for Urkel to marry Laura in the big teary series finale. The last two episodes taped (the previous season finale) involved Urkel going into space for vaguely explained reasons.
