Im referring to Hardcore Holly's old hilarious Super Heavy weight gimmick he had in the summer of 1999. Anyone remember it and did they fidn it funny. This segment (copied and pasted from CRZ's RAW Recap) was the funniest thing he did.
As the pyro and fireworks alight, the ACOLYTES stand in the entranceway - we're on the campus of Ohio State in scenic Columbus, OH 2.8.99 (but taped 27.7) and Bradshaw has the mic. The Acolytes are gonna stand in the ring until Big Show and Undertaker make their presence known. The fight they started last night ain't over yet. Faarooq promises that while the world might come to an end, so too will both their asses. But HARDCORE HOLLY is the one who shows up at the entranceway 'neath the TitanTron. "Well, well, well. Consider this your lucky night! Because, ya see, mah boys ain't here yet. But, the leader of the Super Heavyweights is, and that's me! So what do you wanna do?" "All right, Hardcore, which one of us do you want to hand you your ass?" "Which one? Which one. Hey, I'm the Big Shot - I'm here to take on BOTH your asses! So...you either nut up - or shut up!" And he storms the ring. And Faarooq and Bradshaw promptly hand him his ass - off the ropes, double spinebuster. Clothesline from Hell. Dominator. Believe it or not, this actually gets all three men over. Here's the double powerbomb. ANOTHER double powerbomb. The Acolytes leave Holly laying in the middle of the ring.
of coarse this led to Crash Holly and his scales which was damn entertaining as well.
and lest we forget.... Crash Holly 24/7 HARDCORE CHAMPION
...But remember this. ROCK...CRUSHES...SCISSORS...but scissors cuts paper...and paper wraps rock...KIFF, we have a conundrum. (Yes, eat all of our shirts!)
LOL!! thanx for reminding me of that segment when they put all members of The New Brood on the scales to see if they were superheavyweights or not. And when it came to Gangrel, Holly came out with that classic line.
There's an old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee -- that says, fool me once, shame on -- shame on you. Fool me -- you can't get fooled again.

Quick Q: How come CRZ always called him "Kool Moe Dee"?
I believe it's because Holly's "How ya like me now?" catchphrase was often found in the rap lyrics of Kool Moe Dee's work.
Dee, of course, you'll remember from British Knights (they were a sneaker, people) commercials of the late 80's, (I think) and a forgettable feud with LL Cool J. Who would have envisioned "Mama Said Knock You Out" needed a comically bland rebuttal? Mr. Dee, that's who.
Of course, both are no Tim Dog.
