Or move to Europe and get Sky. But i guess you might incur slightly higher costs getting here. Oh well, I tried.

Wow, how cute. I hope that comment was made in jest as you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. Stealing does not make one a Communist. It makes one a thief. If he were to get the free cable/ppv, then proceed to somehow hook up his entire neighborhood with the free cable/ppv, THEN he COULD be considered a Communist. Or maybe you were making reference to how Communism is considered "evil" by many people in the United States, (but in it's true form, really is not) hence stating that although many view stealing cable as "evil", (Guru specifically because he works in the industry) but really is not, thus shitting on whatever job Guru has in the real world. Either way, go back to school. I know Canada isn't known for much, but maybe, just maybe, if you study hard enough, you'll make a difference.

I'm ripping on the idealized notion that at least, in North America, Capitalism is the bread & butter of our culture. We're deluged day in and day out with ads. We're all encouraged from birth to get a good education, get a good job, and blow money on extravagent things we don't need in order to help the economy. Doing such, theoretically, makes us better people because the money we blow on stuff we don't need goes into the pockets of (ideally) people who need it so that they can blow it on things they don't need, etc, etc. Of course, most of the time it just makes the rich richer, which is the main failing of the current system: the disappearing act the middle class has slowly but surely gotten themselves into by no fault of their own.
Communism, on the other hand, is stereotypically done by foreign villains (at least in movies and pro wrestling) who seek to destroy the American (capitalist) system by controlling wealth and making it stagnate, drying up the flowing river of money which allows the capitalist system to (in theory) work so well.
Piracy is a major problem in the entertainment industry. I'm a part-time student, part-time projectionist and theatre usher, so I know that my job relies on people NOT pirating things and actually coming out to the theatre to pay their money for tickets (which pay for the building and the movies we show) and their treats (which pay for my salary). Guru, to the best of my knowledge, works in the entertainment sector as well (although I am remiss to remember accurately which part he works for) and is no doubt haunted by the same spectre of piracy that I am, although he is undoubtedly more important that a lowly student is. I am horribly biased against piracy, because sooner or later piracy will topple the gentle giant that is Viacom (the parent company of my bosses at Famous Players), and the axe would fall down the line, making me a former employee.
Stealing cable is wrong, morally and economically, because in the current political and economic system, money needs to flow. You pay for goods and services with money, and the person who provided the good or services pays for their goods & services with money, etc. Therefore, the collectivization (or communization) of a system (be it the cable or otherwise) would cripple the economy.
Either way, don't pirate. Y'ar! (Pirates are silly).

Wow, a post against stealing cable and selling video tapes both in the same day. You're a good man of good morals Guru, don't let anybody tell you otherwise. And out of the respect I have for you I will keep all my illegal actions to myself.

The best way, I would think, is to mooch off someone else who is footing the bill. That's a practice that's been around since the beginning of time, and transcends all cultures, ideologies, and even species.
I think you can get the PPV cheap at a Blast Zone, right? There is a list at the WWE.COM website under the heading for PPV.

It's not quite free, but some movie theatres show the PPVs for about $6. At least that's what the one I go to (Birch Run, MI) charge. It's pretty nice. They have a small bar at this theatre, so you can grab a beer, get a good seat and get a small taste of crowd reaction for a fraction of the cost.

Most of the ones I've been to either have a minimum purchase (i.e. if you're going to stay here at least buy something) or just let you in to watch it for free.
Actually, now if I'm so inclined, I can just go to the little bar across the street and watch for a one drink minimum (which is likely what will happen on Sunday).
