With Jane's Addiction, Audioslave, Queens of the Stone Age, Incubus and Jurassic Five, plus about twenty bands still to be announced. Finally, another summer music festival that doesn't suck ass! (Although it was always fun to be one of the only twelve people at Ozzfest who knew how to read.)

Yeah...I'll be there. While I'm not huge on Audioslave or Incubus, and I fear the crowd will get J5 about as much as the fans at Unlimited Sunshine got De La Soul, QOTSA and Jane's will be more than enough to lure me in.
Rainbows are visions, but only illusions, and rainbows have nothing to hide.
I'm not certain that it won't suck ass, but I'll be there. It'll be interesting to see Jane's again since the last time I saw them was at the first Lollapalooza and I was mostly drunk by the time they performed since beer was cheaper than water at the World.

I saw De La Soul at Unlimited Sunshine, and they were pretty disappointing to me. They had a fairly standard call-and-response set that had muddled sound problems. And I saw J5 a few months later, and they`re incredibly more entertaining and engaging as a live act. Plus there`s also the "Cut Chemist & NuMark Show" to blow you away.
I hope Lollapalooza does good. This sounds like a good line-up. Hopefully bands like Simple Plan and New Found Glory end up in the Warped Tour.
Speaking of tours, this year's Summer Sanitarium tour features Limp Bizkit, Metallica, and Linkin Park as headliners. I wonder who'll be the first to drop out of that tour.

The Bizkit. No question, I don`t give them more than a month or so before something ridiculous happens (like not having a guitarist at the start of the tour?).
Hopefully Bizkit and Linkin Park both drop out, so it will just be Metallica. I would honestly guess that Metallica alone would draw just as many people without Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit.
You don't get it boy, this isn't a mudhole... it's an operating table. And I'm the surgeon. Something tells me to stop with the leg. I don't listen to it. But where in the world is there in the world A man so extroardinaire?

You underestimate the HUNGER of the wigger...

Oh, like that's gonna stop them. How's about a contest in every tour stop to pick a guitarist for that show?
Is the Horde Fest still around? I went to it several summers ago when the Black Crowes and Blues Traveler were headlining and thought that it was one of the funnest (I was f'd up) times I have ever had at a concert.

I'm a fan of (most of) those bands you listed, but, shit, *none* of 'em hold a fuckin' candle to Jane's Addiction. You gotta know where you came from, son.
Oh, and in a fascinating way of doing things, they've announced CITIES for the tour, but not dates. I have no idea. Click Here

I was never a fan of Jane's, or Porno For Pyros. And there are NO FUCKING CITIES anywhere near me to rock out to this. No Gorge, no 'Couve, NOTHING. Fuck you, Perry Farrell.

I don't think so. I like this lineup, but better than Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ministry, Soundgarden, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Pearl Jam, and Ice Cube? Hell, I'd take seeing Body Count do Cop Killer in Chicago with a shitload of pissed off state troopers looking for any excuse to shut the show down over this lineup.
Of course, I'll still be at one of the midwestern shows.

I love j5, but that alone won't get me to make the trek to Mansfield (No Chance in Hell they play Boston Proper). We'll see if they can bring the goods or if it's a second stage weighed down with SmackDown Records signees.

The what huh? I guess it's the "Lotusflow3r" Target exclusive set? http://www.target.com/Prince-LotusFlow3r-3-CD-Only-Target/dp/B001TI3IB0/ I have to admit I hadn't heard about it until now. Here's an EW blog (music-mix.ew.com)!
