Does anyone else enjoy watching reruns of Law & Order and Homicide: lIfe on the Streets just to see all the appearances by the staff and inmates of Oz?
Good stuff. Last two days on the 11am TNT L&O saw Stella and C.O. Murphy as the defense attorneys.
There's an old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee -- that says, fool me once, shame on -- shame on you. Fool me -- you can't get fooled again.
I admit I get a kick out of seeing Keller and Shillinger on a prime-time network show, knowing the stuff they do on HBO.
It seems that I am - in no particular order - Zack Morris, John Adams, a Siren, Janeane Garofalo, Aphrodite, a Chihuahua, Data, Cletus the Slack Jawed Yokel, Amy-Wynn Pastor, Hydrogen, Bjork, Spider-Man, Boston, and a Chaotic Good Elvin Bard-Mage.
I started watching the Homicide: LOTS reruns on Court TV about a year and a half ago (when the show was still on Court TV).
I remember Beecher was a cop and friend of Crosseti's who got shot in the face and was permamnetly blinded. I remember Howell was a patrolwoman. Hernandez was a neighbor of Bolander's. McManus played a map maker for the CIA. And a bunch more I can't remember.
Obviously they weren't playing their Oz roles. They were differnet characters.
I remember the first time I saw the Dr. Skoda character on L&O. I mockingly yelled at Adam Schiff's office wondering how they could employ Vern Schillinger as their shrink.

Originally posted by BigDaddyLocoI used to watch Homicide all the time when it was running on network television, but the only crossover I remember is the Govener.
There was another one. I seem to recall Detective Munch (Richard Belzer) making a one-time appearance.
I have a special friend. He's the baby Jesus and I love him and...and...he don't give me no s**t and he don't f**k around and he's just the f**king coolest guy and I wanna say I love the baby Jesus.I can't say enough.I love the baby Jesus and I think...he's the best thing and he's really great when he shares his love for everbody. You know what I mean?I can't even see a manger without thinkin' about him,eh?I just love the Jesus.I've only been into him for a couple of hours though, but I'm really into him.--Bruce McCulloch
If you truly want to warp your mind, go rent Father of the Bride 2, and watch Father Ray as Martin Short's even chirpier gayer sidekick. Disturbing on so many levels.
If I were a cartoon character in high school, I would so have a crush on Joan Of Arc.
Or like watching the Lakers hoop it up and seeing Jackson Vahue.
;)

I heard he was killed so early in this season of Oz so that he could film that movie...or maybe it's another movie...
