"Barry "B2" Buchanan is the latest name to be released by WWE. Buchanan was apparently released over the weekend, due to WWE not having anything for him to do. Buchanan's role alongside John Cena was given to Redd Dogg, who WWE is very high on and who happens to be the husband of Jazz. "
Well, now we know why the cut his angle with Cena so quickly.
Aw, steal poor Scott Summetts thunder why don't you. Shame on you. Nonetheless, ever fearful of you're wrath I shall post on your thread.
I had vague pangs of sympathy for Raven and Alpo when they got binned but I honestly cant think of anything that B2/B squared/Bull Buchanan did that I really enjoyed. It wasn't that he was awful, it was more that he just, well wasn't.
We can but hope that this recent spate of sackings (sorry releases) extends to Mark Henry. But he was over here plugging the Rumble a couple of weeks ago for Sky Sports so I don't hold out much hope. Incidentally he seemed to be under the impression that there was 60 guys in the Rumble. Good to see he's been keeping his finger on the pulse even when injured.
Edit: Spelling. I don't know why I bother cos I always miss something but hey....

Weren't they also "very high" on those 3 minute guys? If there's one thing I've learned from watching the WWF for 10 years, is that all the WWE being 'very high' on someone means is that he's a roided face, or a fat heel. We'll have to wait and see if this guy is any more/less impressive than B2 was.

Funniest thing I've read all day.
I'll shed no tears over Bull Buchanan. Not a very good for RTC marks, though :)

Not that I was loving BB's ring work, but I never thought he was horrible and didn't turn the station when he came out. But 3 Minute Warning is a total waste of TV time. How can Vince/JR talk about Big Show's weight when those hippos are in the fed?

I had Johnny Stamboli pegged as the next cut. I do feel a little bad for Buchanon, because while watching him and Cena the last week they were together It dawned on me that they were the new Kaientai.
On the other hand, it's probably better to give the angle to someone like Redd Dogg, who hasn't failed to get over yet, and thus may be capable of doing something for the company.

I was slowly getting into B2 especially BooYa, not as much as the guy who sat next to Skorpio & Pescado at the Jersey Smackdown tapings, but I starting digging him nonetheless. I liked the old white rapper wannabe with the little hat and only thing rap about him is saying "Booya" and it also had Cole's best line ever
Tazz: "Do you know what bling bling means" Cole: "Is that some sort of hat?... What, I don't know" Tazz just shakes his head and laughs under his breathe
Oh well. I didn't think he was that bad and had decent skills but it looks like Vince is in a firing mood

Geez, show some compassion, would ya? Sure he wasn't a great, or even good, or even average worker, but we're talking about a guy losing his damn job here. And even talentless hillbillies gotta eat. Actually in all seriousness, I direct everyone to Scott Keith's latest Raw rant with his thoughts on the "issue". As much as the man disgusts me, Scott wrote what I think is the most fitting eulogy for the B-man possible.
Aw man, I was probably the biggest Bret Hart fan left (and there aren't many of us you know...). Now, after reading Under the Mat, then this, Bret has gone bonkers. So sad. Get well soon Bret.
