I have a few questions about the W.W.E./F., W.C.W., and E.C.W. title belts.
First of all, I think if and when Shane takes over, he should present a new belt to the Raw champ.
How many versions of each belt are there?? I mean, I know of the 2 Undisputed Title belts, and the two I.C. belts, but what about the other belts.
Does anyone have pictures of the different W.W.E./F. HardCore belts??
Does anyone have any pics of the new Raw Tag Belts, and who held the new version w/the name plates first first??
Does anyone know what site I can go to to view pictures of all the versions of all the belts??
When did the woman's title start having a nameplate attached to it, and who was the first woman to have the name plate??
What is the story with the W.W.E. Cruiserweight belt?? Is it the unified W.W.F. Light Heavyweight title with the W.C.W. Cruiserweight title??
I know of the Smoking Skull belt, but did they ever show the Rock's World title belt?? I know it's just a foam and plastic toy, but did the W.W.E./F. ever televise a leather/gold version?? How did the concept of the design come about??
Also, in regards to the different web sites that sell these belts, what is the difference between the "Ultra-Deluxe" and "Deluxe" title belts.
Please help me cause these questions are bothering me!!

My head hurts after reading that post.

It's obvious that with combining about 26 titles into one, the WWE has no regard for the history of the belts or what they stand for, so I wouldn't waste my time with it. Like Vince Russo wanted, the belts have pretty much become props.

Well said, geemoney.

I used to like looking back at the different lineages of the different championship belts (NWA, WCW, WWF, ECW), but now that has become an exercise in "Which new belt coincides with the old belt?". The only one that has not changed is the NWA Heavyweight Championship, but even THAT is screwed up now with TNA "monopolizing" the NWA championships. Belts are nothing more than props now, used to further meaningless storylines.

The WWF Tag belts have stayed the same for about 16 years! I don't know how they survived so long, but they have.

Tis was a sad day when they got rid of the IC belt. It was a great stepping stone througout the years, and still was, though it was greatly devalued in early 99, and again during the Invasion, that wretched angle. Yes, the mening behind belts has been dropping for about 20 years, the invasion wasn't the final nail in the coffin, but the final three nails. I used to be able to recite all the WWF title linages, except hardcore. After the invasion, I figured I would need a degree in order to figure it out.

Here, I'll try:

Starting at the beginning of the Invasion...

Kane
Albert
Lance Storm
Edge
Christian
Edge
Test
Edge
Regal
RVD

Then we go into the brand extension era.

Well, Mike Tyson is back in the Boxing scene again. All well and good. His match was preceeded by a pathetic 4 round alleged boxing match with Tonya Harding and some novice fighter who actually got the duke. So here's my beef...
