Ok, who was that man-mountain private eye Karin went and hired? Dude was huge! When do you ever see Mackey get thrown around like that? And how funny was the "Hello Jerry....Hello Newman"-like exchange between the two PI's?

Boy the tension surrounding Vic, Acevada, and Claudette is real thick right now. How sick is it that Claudette's the one trying to do the right thing, but you're rooting against her anyway? Well, that's my situation anyway.

What's with Armadillo walking around in his jockeys all the damn time? Is this the man Triple H takes his undergarment inspiration from?

And what's with the civilian auditor chick doing police work? I thought she was just an inspector type, not an actual detective. The meter-maid shooter's excuse for wanting to take the GSR test was hilarious.

I gotta tell you, the wrong neighbor got shot by Danni. That whole sub-plot was just so sad. By the way, is Julian still trying to become straight? Whatever happened to that?

What a beatdown by Vic on Armadillo. Bob Holly vs. Matt had nothing on that! I can always appreciate a fight that gets a stove involved (even if they are that one-sided). I bet Armadillo was thinking "I'm glad it's not a Viking range!" Man I hope somebody gets that joke!

Well, the guy who plays the ex-football player turned PI is played by Lee Reherman, former American Gladiator "Hawk" and color announcer for TNN's much missed "Rollerjam."
OK, maybe not much missed, but still...

Man, that final stove scene with Vic was just so intense. I was literally cringing throughout.
I think they're sorta "challenging" Julian's beliefs so far. (sexuality, race, etc.) I'm sure it will lead to some sort of inner conflict down the line. Or it will get Danni killed, which will really suck.
So far, this show has erased any doubts that they could sustain a second season. Bravo to Shawn Ryan and company for giving me another hour of can't-miss TV.

The WWE could put on 2 hours of Kevin Kelly sitting on the toilet reading a phone book, and I'd still watch next week.

I think Mackey made a huge mistake in torturing Armadillo like that and not killing him. Armadillo is pure EVIL and he won't hesitate to respond 10x worse than what Mackey did to him. It's a good thing Mackey's wife got the kids out of Dodge otherwise his daughters might end up with a dove tattoo. Of course if that happened Mackey would probably just lose it and kill Armadillo anyway.

I was thinking along the same lines. I think Ryan & co. could write something that dark, but I doubt that even FX would air it.
But yeah, I think that actually letting the SOB live shows just how far off his game Mackey has gotten. Shane was right, Armadillo is too dangerous to live.
