Triple H was The Crock. X-Pac was Mizark Henry ("Hey hey hey...I smell what the crock is cookin' and it smells like $#it!") Jason Sensation was Owen (in Sensation's finest moment, to boot, because he'd end every sentence with "Whoo! I am NOT a nugget! Whoo!" and then launched into this tirade about "Look at me? What am I supposed to be? I look like a road sign! Whoo!") Gunn was the GodFather Road Doggggggg was D-Lo (Who would repeat everything The Crock said -- "The brother said he likes to smack himself!")
And you're forgetting the most FAMOUS moment in NOD history -- Ahmed's post injury interview where he criticized Crush for bringing in -- and this is a direct quote -- "Bikers, Likers, Mikers -- whatever."
I think the anesthetic was starting to kick in on Ahmed at that point.

Another high point in the Ahmed vs. Faarooq war came early on, when Faarooq was on LiveWire. Ahmed called in, still injured, and started talking about how he was going to beat Faarooq when he came back because he was a racecar. Or something. He kept saying "racecar" over and over. Faarooq was understandably lost and finally cut in to say something like "Racecar? What the hell are you talking about?"
You are correct, sir. He was also wearing a baseball catcher's chest protector, aping D-Lo's "loaded" chest protector.
Good times, good times.

The Floatover DDT was the bomb. We don't see that one anymore. My favorite NOD moment was the street fight with DX leading to the Ladder match at Summerslam. It was brutal and NOD got DOA to run-in and leave HHH alone in the ring with NOD. That was good TV watching HHH get NOD-handled like that. The DX/NOD fued really pushed HHH and Rocky to the elite status. It was probably the best thing going on in the fed at the time. The DX-parody was awesome. X-Pac started his lines with a Fat Albert, "Hey, Hey, Hey". It was so, so funny. That fued was probably one of the best and longest lasting I had ever seen.
I always wanted Mark Henry, Rocky, Farooq, D'Lo, and the Godfather to end up in the same room and kind of give each other strange, knowing looks. It would be just a little bonus for the WWF fans who remember the past.
January 4th 1999 - The day WCW injected itself with 10 gallons of Liquid Anthrax...AKA...The day Hogan "Defeated" Nash to win the WCW title in front of 40,000.

Did you know that "racecar" spells the same forwards and backwards? Maybe Ahmed just learned said fact and THAT'S what he was trying to get across.

Why? Because they were all in a car together and Mark was driving and he hit and killed a man and they made a pact never to speak of it again?

Wasn't Ahmed Johnson only in the Nation for half a RAW. At the End he and Farooq tagged against the Rock and somebody only to have the Rock pull Swerve 2 of the night and beat down Ahmed Johnson with the rest of NOD. It was later when the Rock brought Mark Henry into the loop that friction started with Farooq and The Rock.
I really liked the Nation in the real early days when it was just Farooq and his posse. There's something about a guy with a big posse that doesn't wrestle that I just mark out for, ala Simon Diamond and his butler, the fucking Buccaneer, and the rest.
My favorite Nation moment was when Stone Cold feuded with all of them at the same time. I think it was Summerslam 97 when Austin drove his monster truck to the ring and back-dropped D-Lo through the windshield. HOOHAW!
No, Ahmed must have been in for at least a couple weeks. He was scheduled to take on the Undertaker for the title at the KOR '97, but was injured and replaced by Faarooq. I think it was when he came back he was ousted.
And I believe the back bodydrop on the truck was at the December PPV (whatever they called it then). Summerslam '97 was when Stonecold had that whole neck injury thing, Bad Blood he was out, and Survivor Series he took on Owen to regain the IC title.
The first RAW after Ahmed Johnson was with the Nation, he was injured in the melee between NOD, DOA and Los Boriquas, IIRC. He was out for some time.
My memory is sketchy on the rest of the details, however.

Funny that imo Owen was thrown in there to (as I got it) sort of get rid of the 'blacks only' feel the NOD had then. He usually did his own thing though. Being an obnoxious heel.
My favorite Nation moment was when DX trashed their locker room and blamed the Hart Foundation. The NOD came to the ring and called out the Hart Foundation. Bret's music came on and they all walked out one by one. It gave me goosebumps.
Don't believe anything you hear, and only half of what you see.
D'Lo was, by far, my favorite Nation member ever. He didn't just win the European Title, he *became* the European title! Between having "European Champion" down the legs of his tights, changing his hometown every time he entered the ring, and his chest protector (for his injured pec muscle) D'Lo was the man!
Some other cool Nation moments were: -Austin fighting Faarooq on top of his "3:16" monster truck. I think D'Lo went through the windshield. -The Owen/Shamrock Lion's Den match. -DX's parody of the Nation which, I'm sorry to say, I still think is kind of funny.
D'Lo lived and breathed European title. In fact, when they did a british show, they shot a promo with him walking around in England pretending to be showing people around I believe. They later did the same thing for Kurt when he was Euro(continental) champ. Hey, didn't Kurt once say he was the first Euro-IC champ. "Well, besides D'Lo but we all know he doesn't count!"
I loved the beatdown NoD gave HHH and later the whole Chyna/Mizark dating thing. Didn't that turn him into Sexual Chocolate? And it gave us the first glimpse of Chyna-not just a manbeast-..
"...And I use that to f*ck them some place fairly uncomfortable." "What, like the back of a volkswagen ?" -Mallrats
Haha, its weird, but at this moment Sky Sports here in Japan is showing In Your House: Final Four on WWF Classics. I just watched NOD vs Flash Funk, Bart Gunn, and Goldust. I marked out seeing a plump D-Lo and PG-13 off cadence rap. Farooq looks much better now then he did in '97. Rocky Mavia vs HHH is on now. Its amazing how far both have come. Rocky has lost a lot of weight and Hunter has gained an un-godly amount of muscle mass now.
Another mark out moment was when they showed HBK "I lost mah smile" speech. While he was tearing up, everyone was chanting "Sid, Sid, Sid".
EDIT: This was also Chyna's first appearance. Watching a Vadar Promo, damn I miss Paul Bearer.
Swagger. I so want to call that Orton wins without getting the title, except that there doesn't seem to be a way for that to happen in an Extreme Rules match. (And, hey, it wouldn't be unprecedented for them to make it happen anyway.)
