I dig that the game lets the points carry over to the next season. I remember my biggest gripe about SD 2 for PS 1 was that after you stopped taking control of a guy, that guy would immediately lose any title he had, and lose almost every other match after I let him be. Because of the high point total in SD:SYM, I know that Jericho will do just fine without me holding the reins.

Having the points carry over is also good because I was able to check the point totals right before WM of the previous season. This was how I decided to be Raven. I basically wanted to build a low guy from the lower 50's in point totals to world champion in under two years.

Well, I got the game and it kicks ass.

And I can say that the end credits are the best part of the game.

And I had a great hell in the cell match with Kurt at Wrestlemania.

(I was Booker T)

The finish was after Kurt gave me an suplex through the cell but waited too long and tried to slap on the Ankle lock but I countered it and that made Kurt groggy(the match went on for like 15 minutes) Bookend 1..2..3 Champ retains.

I had a really odd thing happen last night - I was playing my CAW in Season mode, and somehow my character and Booker T ended up facing the tag team of Brock Lesnar and Brock Lesnar. It was bit odd seeing two Brocks in the ring at the same time. If it had been for the tag titles, I would have let him/them win. Talk about getting a major push....

There was a point during my first season where somehow the Rock had become the tag teams champions. I can't help but wonder now if I wasn't paying attention when they scheduled a Rock/Rock vs. Tag Champs match that he won. Go figure.

Animal Crossing and SD:SYM have taken all my time. When am I supposed to go to work???

Well, it seems that my CAW (Snazzy Jeans Man) has but one more challenge ahead of him. After winning the Armageddon 6-way HIAC in 2003 with a figure four on Kane on top of the cell and successful defenses against Chris Benoit and Stone Cold Steve Austin, only Hollywood Hulk Hogan stands between me and immortality. Then I get to rule all sorts of things as Kurt Angle.

I finally got the game and I'm on my second season with Jericho. I have the Undisputed Belt, but I swear someone's almost always coming down the ring and beating the shit out of me after my matches. And it seems I'm almost always fueding with Brock Lesner...and I'm usually nice to him (unless he's still pissed that I didn't want a tag team match at Wrestlemania)!

But my CAW woman (Renegade Raine) is the woman with the most star points due to the interference by me.

Finally my CAW got his rightful wwe title. I made the mistake of wanting all the titles. Never got a shot at any and turned down world title shots on two occasions. Damn will Flair and Vinny Mac ever figure out if there boys or not.

I hate to admit it but I enjoy a Triple H like run with my created player. I am totally burying and holding down all the bums I don't like. I have interfered in several matches. Mostly involving Jericho or the Undertaker. To make them lose points.

And if I can't interfere, I play as the opponent. When I'm losing I knock out the ref and use a chair. If I lose I restart and don't save; to rewrite the history books cuz no one saw a damn thing.

Currently working on unifying all the belts to be the grand slam champion. I pushed Raven to the IC title just to take it from him later. My guy is like 6'4 and I still made him a cruiserweight just to hold all the belts. I'm holding down everybody. Somebody stop me!

I was playing as RVD, with at least one Smackdown icon, and when my opponent was down on the mat, I did the taunt where he jumps in the air, and I noticed my Smackdown meter flashed. I tried it again, and somehow, I was able to hit the 5* out of a jump!!!

Although, really, if he isn't doing it off a turnbuckle (or higher), then is it really a 5*?

Yeah; some stupid RVD did that to me in an I Quit match once; fortunately I had thrown away the mic. I guess that might be a **1/2 Frog Splash instead, as opposed to the ********** he did to me off the fist. Ouchies.

This is one of the rare games where I find it fun to get the crap kicked out of me....started on normal difficulty with Brockberg, took the title with no effort whatsoever, decided to start over with Raven on the highest difficulty for the hell of it

Now things are interesting....fought like hell, begging for title shots from Vince to no avail. Guess jobbing to Mark Henry'll do that to you, but dammit I didn't know the ref was awake to see my chair shot outside the ring
Eventually got on somewhat of a streak though, ended up showing up on Raw to screw with Flair. He promptly books me against the Rock and Jericho in a handicap match....I die. Bubba comes to my aid, tag match against Rock and Jericho the next week....we die.

We then get booked in a six man tornado captain elimination tag match (phew), which I really didn't even know the rules to....I promptly learn them though as Austin stunners me, I figure out that little arrow over my head meant I was the captain and I just lost. I get the special pleasure of watching Flair step on my face, then I'm back to midcard hell now oddly on Raw vs Eddy Guerrero.

Blah....think I'll reset again and try this as HHH, wanna hold down some fools and bury them beyond all recognition

Brock Lesnar is just a machine in this game. Running clothesline, ten release Germans, F5, pin. For tag matches, throw in knock partner off the apron between F5 and pin.

Don't forget about his Bearhug of Death. I've easily gotten more submissions with that than any other move.

Brock a machine? Hmm..I faced him about 20 times in my season with Kurt Angle and he was lucky to get a move in *grin*
Suplex, leg submission, suplex, arm/neck submission, suplex, rolling suplexes, taunt, suplex, leg submission, suplex, leg submission, suplexes, ankle lock, tap you sonofabitch!

And Brock taps out FAST. A started off the match, put him in like 5 Dragon Sleepers, and he was tapping out like a biatch...
The Rock, on the other hand, is a pain in the ass...

I've been using Angle and so far the only tag matches I've lost this season were when I've had Brock as my partner and he lost both times while I was fighting outside.

Damn unemployment, way too much time on my hands....did end up starting over with HHH after all. Took the undisputed title with an assist from Bubba Dudley, got DQed in a match with him for use of a chair (my biggest vice), watched him then beat me silly with my own title and steal it. Good Ol JR found it for me, booked a ladder match against Bubba at the PPV, which I managed to lose after Pedigreeing him twice, going to set up the ladder, watching him somehow or another get up, knock me over, SPRINT up the damn ladder at the speed of light and steal my title for good

Next came more fun with Flair, but this time I managed to beat down his handicap match and his tag team match (did manage to drop one to Austin though with him as guest ref....beaten with a clothesline and the fastest 3 count in history) then went on to the PPV where Flair beat Vince in a match to make my elimination main event cluster a table match. That did NOT work out in his favor, as me, Rocky and Angle destroyed Brock, a traitorous Jericho and Austin in very short order by propping tables up in the corners and launching them through them one by one

Since I'd been basically kissing Vince's ass this entire time I was looking forward to some fun retirement matches or something, but ended up not doing much of anything for a while....recruited Undertaker in spite of some attempted seduction by Lita, HBK showed up, did nothing, retired apparently, I told him to go screw himself

Finally something happened, got my rematch for the title in a six man Hell in a Cell at Armageddon, and in true HHH fashion won by throwing Jericho off the top of the cell, waiting for him to come back up after me, Pedigreeing him straight through the cell and pinning him
Vince then gave me the chance to pick my opponent for the Royal Rumble....was tempted to go with the "pick no one" option, but went with the easiest choice on my list instead, Booker T. Brockberg apparently took umbrage with this, beat me up, I ended up in a match with him and DESTROYED him (the difficulty in this game really does jump around). Went on to the Rumble where Flair beat Vince yet again, I got somewhat lucky against Booker when I accidentely dropped the ref just as Brockberg ran in and F5ed me straight to hell, Booker tried to pin but I escaped after I think a 40 count. One beatdown, one Roidaroonie later and I'm still champ....now the NWO's arrived, that should prove fun

news you can use: SD vs RAW '08 will have downloadable content. This is one of those things where as soon as it's mentioned, you'd realize what a vital idea it is and wonder what took so long.
